Who hid My Corpse!

Chapter 62: Isaiah's Deathtrap

"Swish, swish, swish."

At the moment the "Prison Director" finished speaking, the entire place was in uproar, and then several Sealing Swords pointed at Isaiah.

The leading Guardian glared at Isaiah fiercely: "Do you have anything to say now, Mr. Isaiah?"

Even Mina, who believed in Isaiah the most, couldn't help but show a bewildered expression, as if she couldn't be sure whether it was really her teacher who acted. Not far away, Rocky looked as if he had survived a disaster, grateful for his quick reaction; otherwise, he'd be sitting with the Prison Director now. And while the Prison Director could come back to life, he'd be heading back to start hosting.

Even Isaiah himself couldn't maintain his previous calm, his expression quickly darkening.

Yet somehow, Isaiah wasn't very surprised by the Prison Director's response. Instead, he felt a sense of "As expected of you, Hand Eye."

But how did he do it? Even the murdered believed the killer was himself.

Despite the situation reaching this point, Isaiah still didn't fall out but rather suppressed his surging emotions and asked softly, "Are you really sure it's me, Mr. Prison Director? Are you sure you saw my face?"

"What more do you want to argue?!" The leading Guardian couldn't bear it any longer. He took another step forward, the Sealing Sword piercing Isaiah's Mage Robe, reaching his flesh, "Do you really think we won't act against you?"

Seeing her teacher being pushed to this extent, Mina couldn't hold back any longer; it was a matter of Star Relic's dignity!

But before she could do anything, the Guardian had already anticipated Mina's actions, shouted loudly: "Take them down!"

The Guardians present drew their Sealing Swords, instantly controlling all the Star Relic Mages who hadn't made a move yet.

Tonight is the Innocent Night, arguably the most powerful time for the Star Relic Mages, so the leading Guardian was prepared for the worst from the start. After controlling all the Star Relic Mages, he also deployed the Magic Curtain, blocking the sky full of stars and cutting off the power source of the Star Relic Mages.

But that still wasn't enough, because the most troublesome wasn't the Star Relic Mages but their leader, known as the number one under the gods, Isaiah.

The leading Guardian's eyes never left this seemingly unremarkable old man. He knew the Sealing Sword and Magic Curtain could restrain ninety-nine percent of the Star Relic Mages, but not him. So, at his signal, two more Guardians quickly left the team, heading towards Heavenly Sound Obedience.

If Isaiah intended to upend the table, they would immediately activate the Heavenly Sound Obedience, using the power of the gods to obliterate him.

This scene also fell into the eyes of the other representatives. Although the representatives of the major churches had seen countless grand occasions, this sudden twist still made them feel nervous. So, the guards of each church hurried forward to protect their leaders, with Rocky wishing he could directly stay at the back to avoid being affected.

The scene was extremely chaotic for a moment, but after settling down, it was extremely tense.

However, as the core of all this, Isaiah still did nothing, just leaned his body forward a bit, letting the sword tip penetrate his chest.

Blood stained the Star Robe red.

"Is this enough?" Isaiah said indifferently to the leading Guardian, then looked again at the other end at the Prison Director, repeating the previous question, "Mr. Prison Director, are you really sure it's me?"

Such a calm attitude even left the leading Guardian at a loss. After all, his sword tip could reach the heart with one more push.

This guy was really fearless, or... maybe it really wasn't him?

The leading Guardian couldn't help but have such thoughts, but thoughts were just thoughts. He didn't lower his sword, just waited for the Prison Director's response.

As long as the Prison Director gave the order, he would immediately use this sword to pierce Isaiah's heart.

Everything was like a powder keg waiting to be ignited, just waiting for the last spark to drop.

However, that spark took a long time to fall, and the oppressive silence continued.

The crowd looked at the Prison Director, only to see his abyss-like eyes dim and dull like a candle about to go out, his breathing like an old man at the brink of death, who could let go at any moment.

Is this... not fully alive yet?

The crowd couldn't help but have such doubts but dared not voice them.

After a long time, when the bloodstains on Isaiah's chest began to coagulate, the Prison Director finally spoke slowly.

"I... cannot be sure."

The crowd was shocked.

The Prison Director raised his head, looking directly at Isaiah: "The one who attacked me was very powerful. He not only tore my body but also tore my soul. Now you all know already, I was dead long ago; my soul is everything. And my memory resides within the soul, so some of my memories have also been torn."

Is this even possible?

The crowd couldn't help but look at the Netherworld Envoy beside the Prison Director, who nodded: "Such situations can happen, and often the destroyed part is the memory before death."

Such a thing really exists.
