While Others Cultivate, I LVL UP In My Sleep Using The Dungeon System

Chapter 559: Hahahahaha!

"And now the finals will begin. Han Qiqiang vs Liao Wei."

"The match we've all been waiting for and it seems that both finalists are planning on fighting the final battle with dual daggers, an interesting weapon of choice."

"Both have smiles on their faces and are eager to begin, but before we start, be sure to place your bets."

The crowd was very rowdy and cheering, and although it was made up of mostly great cultivators, they were acting like a bunch of hooligans as the battle was set to begin.

Just like the announcer had said they truly were both smiling as they stood opposite each other, and once the barrier was put on, they were set to begin the battle.

However, before the announcer allowed them to commence the battle, Han Qiqiang had something he wanted to say in front of the entire crowd.

"I Han Qiqiang have something to announce to you all. I have kept my identity secret, wanting to prove my skills with my performance, but now I will reveal to you all that my alias is Adam Green!" he announced in a grand manner.

"As the Master of the rapidly growing Sentinels Faction and the man revered as Death, you may be confused as to why I am here or how come I am Chinese. Well in truth, this is my origin a lone cultivator from the countryside that has climbed all the way here and wishes to display my talents and skills to the world."

Hearing that, Adam was gobsmacked, and everyone in the arena was shocked, with only few there knowing that it was actually Adam in the form of Liao Wei.

"Hahahahaha! You can't be serious," Adam burst out into laughter and didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

He had been impersonated many times around the world, but this was just a bit too much and even he was starting to believe Han Qiqiang's performance that was very convincing.

Meeting the rumours of Death, it wasn't too unfeasible for him to truly be the mysterious figure that rose out of New York.

Most likely since he had disappeared for a few months, Han Qiqiang thought he was dead and decided to take the opportunity to take his identity and reputation.

And he couldn't let that run.

"Silence! Weaklings like yourself do not have the right to interrupt me, unless you wish to die," he bellowed, attempting to appear domineering as he unleashed a thick killing intent.

Bursting out into laughter, he truly was putting on a show.

"Where did all this confidence suddenly come from? You do know that Death is a friend of mine and he will be paying a visit to you after this tournament. And for anyone else that thinks Death's name is one to use in vain, you will suffer the consequences," Adam warned.

As he heard that a chill ran down Han Qiqiang's spine, obviously knowing that he was only impersonating the dangerous man, but he was confident in his abilities and how strong could the man have possibly become.

And it wasn't like he was in China or anything, or actually cared about him.

"Hmph," acting as if he was above Adam and not bothering to respond to him he continued, "I was raised as an assassin and killing became the norm to me. These daggers of mine have taken more lives than I can count and have become an extension of me. But..."

"Blah, blah, blah. Stop wasting my time with your bullshit and come at me, then after our match, I will make sure that you learn your lesson about using someone else's identity," interrupted Adam, who as he said that remembered he was using Liao Wei's identity.

Smiling to himself slightly, Adam was amused but also slightly annoyed by everything that was occurring, meanwhile, Han Qiqiang was enraged and a surprisingly intimidating killing intent was released by him.

"It seems you truly are an assassin of some sort, but killing people is nothing impressive. And trying to scare me with your killing intent is like trying to wet an ocean," Adam stated with a distorted smile as he unleashed a killing intent of his own.

Han Qiqiang's legs buckled, and he almost collapsed under the pressure as he started to regret his arrogance, underestimating the opponent he would be facing in the finals, but it wasn't over yet.

In fact, it was only the beginning as their battle was started by the overseeing Martial Arts Union elder.

Bursting towards each other, both were wielding daggers and had auras that made them appear to be killing machines, as they clashed in mid-air, both fighting with similar stances.

'His skills are better than I thought. A solid core with great balance and a good foundation, but that isn't what I felt from him that was special,' Adam thought to himself as he continued clashing with him.

Unlike his other opponents, Adam had no intention of even getting a scratch on him and his opponent was one he wanted to crush wholeheartedly, as they began to pick up speed.

It was the fastest exchange they were yet to see in the entire tournament and even Su Lan was struggling to keep up with their attacks, with all that could be seen by even Master Cultivators was blurs and sparks.

And yet, they appeared to be getting even faster.

"You aren't all talk, but you are still in over your head. Death never loses," yelled Han Qiqiang, before suddenly vanishing from where he stood and appearing behind Adam.

Adam with his incredible speed, senses and reflexes would be able to track the movements of even Grandmaster Cultivators with relative ease, and yet now he hadn't even seen Han Qiqiang move.

Which meant he either had an ability like the Step Skip Skill or was someone of unfathomable strength.

The latter was unlikely, but just what kind of ability could he possibly have that would allow him to appear behind him like that?!
