Vomiting out a curdle of blood, Gong Yunru despite suffering quite heavy internal damage, jumped up as if nothing had happened and all the blood that left his body would instantly evaporate from the heat.
"Impressive," Adam couldn't help but comment, but unfortunately for Gong Yunru, his Fire Fury wouldn't be enough to dominate Adam.
And with Adam's Blood Fire Berserker State, he had no chance, and Adam was merely toying with him and testing just how far he could go.
Unleashing dozens of explosive attacks toward Adam, Gong Yunru just continued to become more and more unrestrained, with Adam being able to block or avoid all of them with ease.
It felt as though he was no longer facing a human, but a wild beast, and if it wasn't for the Blood Fire Berserker State, he definitely wouldn't be holding out against him as easily as he was with merely the power of an Advanced Cultivator.
However, his Blood Fire Berserker State was simply superior to his Fire Fury and as time went on, Gong Yunru's body seemed to be internally collapsing and the damage was starting to add up.
On the other hand, Adam was surprised by how stable his Blood Fire Berserker State was, and since he was initially only using the power of a peak Advanced Cultivator, it was quite easy to manage and control.
Their battle had lasted around 10 minutes so far, which as a battle between such powerful cultivators was a long time, and Adam decided it was time to end it.
Not for himself, but for Gong Yunru, who was suffering unknowingly in the crazed state he was in.
"I guess I'll just have to test the power of this Blood Fire Berserker State in the Dungeon," he mumbled to himself, slightly disappointed that he couldn't test out its full power.
Suddenly bolting to Gong Yunru with incredible speeds, Adam used a wall of flames to conceal his presence, before sneaking up on Gong Yunru, who impressively had almost been able to sense him coming.
He truly had sharp instincts and potential, but sadly, he was no match for Adam.
Striking the back of his neck with great force, Adam knew that the only way to stop such a beast without killing them was to knock them unconscious, but even his strike to the neck wasn't enough to do it.
His flames began to extinguish, but clenching his fists he still remained conscious and let out a roar that launched Adam sliding backwards.
Sighing, Adam was starting to get annoyed.
"Sleep," he instructed.
Most were unable to hear him under the loud roar and with the barrier around the arena, but with a single word, Gong Yunru's body collapsed backwards and most thought that he had reached his limit.
But those perceptive enough to realise that Adam had spoken a split second before that occurred and also unleashed a great power, would realise that Adam was somehow able to take him down with one word.
Even the power of the King Ring and his Charm Skill were heightened in the Blood Fire Berserker State that he was in as he walked out of the arena, while still keeping his flames around him.
He didn't want to be like Gong Yunru, who after losing consciousness, lay there naked, with his flames burning his clothes.
The other participants that had seen that battle unfold were anxious to face Adam and unsure whether they could handle his flames, with Su Lan being the most amazed, knowing that Adam barely ever used his flames.
Matched with all of his other capabilities that she had seen, she could only imagine how powerful he truly was if he went all out.
It was an entertaining battle, despite how one-sided it was the entire time, with Gong Yunru constantly attacking Adam, but never being able to deal him much damage.
And quickly, Gong Yunru was taken to a room to be healed and taken care of, while the arena was fixed up by a skilled Earth Elemental Affinity user.
Filling the cracks with a durable cement-like substance, it instantly hardened in a matter of seconds, he had masterfully been able to make the arena as good as new, as the matches continued.
Watching all the matches, Adam was learning a lot and was interested in a few of the participants who had great skills and hidden capabilities, with the strongest of them being on a similar level or slightly above that of Su Lan.
Su Lan's match went just like he imagined, with her not even needing to draw her blade, but unlike after her first match, her family seniors didn't show her much support and just nodded their heads in approval.
She didn't care though and looked over to where Adam was watching from and gave him a wink, just like he would usually do to her.
All those that sat around Adam felt their hearts skip a beat and thought that maybe Su Lan had a crush on them, but then looking around them and seeing Adam, they all sighed, which amused him.
Adam's second match also went smoothly, with his opponent expecting Adam to use the powerful Blood Fire Berserker State, not knowing that he would replicate the fighting style of his opponent.
And using a battleaxe just like his opponent did, it wasn't long before Adam struck him down, completely dominating him in terms of skill despite suppressing his power to be below them.
Those that were watching were just amazed by the unknown youth that had suddenly appeared during the regional tournament, and had now become a serious contender for the first place.
And all the elders of the Martial Arts Union that were watching the battle, especially Elder Bingwen, understood why their master had recruited Adam and were eager to see how far he could go.
The day ended after each of them had fought their third match, and Adam ate with Su Lan, before separating and heading to rest in the luxurious private quarters that had been prepared for them.
Only around 2 days remained until the winner was decided, and everyone couldn't wait.
