Void Cultivation

To his surprise, the Everlasting Continent had more dangerous creatures than the Boundless River. Grey was currently facing off against a mutated snow leopard with four eyes and three tails.

The snow leopard had two of it's eyes in their normal places, while one was in it's forehead and the other was below the two eyes.

Each one exuding a sinister chill that could strike fear into the hearts of most cultivators his age. But Grey had been exposed to so many things and faced with so many threats that his expression didn't change when he saw the snow leopard.

His first thoughts were to leave, but he soon recalled one of the items that the Nascent Soul Transformation cultivator had included in his list.

It said the fore eye of a Snow leopard. Although it's purpose was unclear, Grey believed it would be revealed to him sooner or later.

And besides, since he had entered this Pocket Dimension, he had only been plagued by bad luck. Either running from something or someone. The only thing he could say he had gained this time around was an increase in his cultivation base,

'Everything else was trouble.' Grey thought to himself as he looked at the Phoenix that fluttered lightly around him. The heat coming from the graceful fire bird was enough to instantly melt the snow several meters around them.

But when she landed on his shoulder, he did not feel that scorching heat. All he felt was a bit slightly uncomfortable.

As his eyes landed on the leopard, Roxanne screeched loudly and breathe out sweltering hot flames towards the Leopard.

But the leopard only growled wildly and blocked with a wall made of ice. Roxanne was about to breathe out fire again when Grey stopped her. If she really went all out, she would completely kill the Leopard and melt it's characteristics which he wanted to collect.

After stopping Roxanne, Grey's expression turned serious as he immediately burst into his full speed. There was a distance of at least twenty meters separating them, but half of that distance was crossed by Grey, whose body swayed like a leaf in the wind.

The Four eyed Snow Leopard was taken aback by Grey's sudden speed, but a glint shone in all it's four eyes before it also accelerated.

With both of them coming at their top speed, they soon clashed after a couple of breaths. The Snow leopard slashed wildly and four claws marks could be seen quickly advancing towards Grey.

The marks were over four feet and gave Grey a feeling as if he couldn't escape. He even felt suppressed. Just as the claw marks were about to cut him to shreds, he managed to react in time by throwing out a talisman.

The four claw marks were stopped by the talisman, and Grey no longer felt the feeling of being suppressed. But the feeling as if space was restraining him was still present.

With a slight shudder, Grey retreated backwards but that did not stop him from casting hand seals. In an instant, Grey's entire body seemed to become hazy as his speed and strength became amplified.

'Bang!'

Grey's fists clashed with the claws of the Four Eyed Snow leopard. But this time, he did not retreat. Both their strengths were equal. The Leopard was take aback before it rushed at Grey again.

It's feet kicking up white snow in it's Furious Rush. All Grey could see was a white blur rushing towards him at a phenomenonal pace.

But that didn't stop him from bringing out a small kunai, and throwing it at the Snow leopard. The Kunai's speed was fast and easily comparable to the speed of the rushing Leopard.

Like the fluttering of the wind, the Four eyed leopard did not see kunai until it was embedded four inches into its skin.

But the sudden pain only made it's Furious Rush turn into a Mad rush. There was the sound of metal striking metal and Grey was flung backwards.

But he managed to stabilize himself by swaying his body. But the Leopard seemed to have foreseen this and had struck out its four claw marks towards him.

With his body still stabilizing, Grey could not dodge at the moment. Grey tried to bring out a defensive talisman, but unfortunately, he was too slow and his chest was struck by the four flying claw marks.

As he was blasted bacwards, Grey's chest was also torn open! The place where the four claw marks struck was mangled, but little blood flowed out. Why? Because a chill also came with the claws marks that seeped into his body through his chest.

Grey felt as if his entire body was becoming cold, and his mind slowly becoming numb. He instantly knew it was because of the Snow Leopard.

Enduring the pain, Grey snapped himself back to reality as his gaze focused on the Four Eyed Leopard, which was readying another attack.

Grey had already begun to calculate his next line of actions. He could already feel the purple crystal diverting some of it's attention to his gruesome wound. But because some of it's attention was split between healing him and sealing the Divine flames in his spirit sea, the healing process was extremely slow.

But just enough to stop the excess blood from spilling out. As Grey had already begun to condense a faint purple aura around his right arm, the Four eyed Leopard had already turned into a white blur. With only it's forelimbs and fore half of it's body showing.

It let out a cruel roar as it rushed at him furiously again. Just as the Purple Illusionary sword appeared over his head, there was a loud screech and what could only be called divine flames, descended from above and stopped the Leopard from completing its attack.
