Chapter 155: Chapter 155 – Sukuna, I Have Come to Welcome Your Return

As he lay dying, images of the students he once taught and the autonomous cursed corpses he had created flashed through the man's mind, finally stopping on the face of Panda.

The domain's illusionary scenery slowly faded away. The moonlight shone once again through the treetops, casting its glow on Yaga Masamichi.

A massive hole gaped in his chest, and crimson blood continued to trickle out, pooling beneath him.

Hanami let out a long sigh. The battle with Yaga, combined with the use of its domain, had drained most of its cursed energy—less than ten percent remained, not enough for another fight.

If anything unexpected happened now, it would have no choice but to run.

"I wonder if Geto is done on his end." Just as it muttered to itself, Hanami suddenly lifted its head, its movements stiff, and turned toward where Yaga had fallen.

Standing beside Yaga's body was a tall, white-haired man, slightly out of breath.

His eyes, glowing faintly blue in the dark, stared blankly at Yaga.

"Principal… Yaga?"

Gojo Satoru!

Unlike Gojo's disbelief, the only thing on Hanami's face was sheer terror.

Why was Gojo Satoru here!?

Wasn't he supposed to be in Shinjuku!?

The plan had been exposed!

No matter what, it had to escape immediately.

Forget being in bad shape—Hanami knew that even at full strength, there was no way it could win against this man.

Thick tree roots burst from the ground, wrapping around its body and pulling it underground.

But in that instant, a flash of red light streaked through the air. A marble-sized black sphere struck the roots, shattering them layer by layer and exposing Hanami.

The sphere continued forward, slamming into Hanami's side. Its mouth opened wide, coughing up a large amount of dark purple blood as its body was sent flying.

Damn it… My cursed energy is too low—I can't heal my wounds.

Lying on its back, Hanami stared at the night sky, completely consumed by despair.

It still couldn't figure out why Gojo Satoru, who was supposed to be in Shinjuku, suddenly returned to Jujutsu High.

"You hurt someone, and you think you can just run away that easily?"

A cold, emotionless voice reached Hanami's ears. Struggling to sit up, it felt the gaping wound in its side, blood slowly seeping out.

Gojo Satoru walked toward Hanami at a steady pace, his icy gaze locked onto it. In that moment, Hanami felt as if it had been thrown into the depths of a dark, endless ocean. An immense pressure pressed down from all directions, suffocating it.

Unable to withstand the pressure, Hanami was the first to make a move, stretching out its hand as sharp branches burst from the ground, stabbing toward Gojo Satoru.

But all of them shattered before they could even touch him. It was as if an invisible barrier surrounded him, blocking every attack effortlessly.

A large hand pressed down on Hanami's head. It snapped out of its shock, only for a wave of fear to crash over it.

*Squelch!*

"Die."

Gojo Satoru muttered softly, then cleanly tore Hanami's head from its body. With a flick of his arm, he tossed it into the sky.

A bright red glow lit up the night once more. A fully powered blast wiped Hanami's head from existence, leaving not even a trace of ash behind.

…

"Hmm? The veil over Shinjuku has been lifted?"

Deep underground, at the center of Tengen's barrier, among the complex maze of shrine-like buildings, Kenjaku lifted his head, sensing something. He reached into his pocket, pulled out a phone, and made a call.

"Moshi moshi, the veil over Shinjuku has been lifted, right?"

"Yeah, yeah! I need to get out of here too!" The voice on the other end was mixed with screams and sounds of battle. "So annoying! I'm trying to retreat, so stop chasing me already! Shouldn't you be focusing on protecting innocent people?"

"What about Gojo Satoru?" Kenjaku asked.

"Huh?! Gojo Satoru? I didn't see him… but before the barrier was lifted, that volcano guy seemed to be fighting someone. It was a huge fight—seriously terrifying."

"I see. Get ready to retreat. I'm about done here too."

Kenjaku ended the call.

He made several more calls, but the answer was always the same—no one had seen Gojo Satoru.

"Interesting… Could that guy who took down Mahito really be that strong? Strong enough for Gojo Satoru to leave without worry?"

Kenjaku, wearing the face of Geto Suguru and draped in a Gojo-style robe, rubbed his chin in thought. It didn't take long for him to make a decision.

"Gojo Satoru might have noticed something and is on his way back to Jujutsu High… Well, whatever. I got what I came for. Even if there's only a tiny chance, I can't take the risk."

He let out a helpless sigh. "Hanami will have to stay here and buy me some time."

Turning to a strange creature beside him—its bizarre appearance resembling an alien, or maybe even Patrick Star—he gave it a casual wave and smiled.

"Until next time, Tengen. I enjoyed our conversation."

The one called Tengen watched him leave in silence.

…

Tokyo, Shinjuku.

After dealing with Jogo, Hayashizaki flashed onto the rooftop of a high-rise building, trying to figure out where to go next.

"Is there any enemy that no one else can handle?" He scanned the city, its bright lights contrasting with the smoke and destruction, searching for his next target.

But before he could find one, a white figure suddenly appeared behind him.

"Who's there?" Hayashizaki asked without turning around.

"Sukuna-sama."

The white-clad figure dropped to one knee, head lowered, silver hair hanging down naturally. She spoke with deep respect.

"I have come to welcome your return."

Hayashizaki turned to look at her, a hint of confusion on his face.

No, wrong person?

Actually, before this, Uraume had thought about whether or not to show herself in front of Hayashizaki.

After all, this man's aura, cursed energy, and even his four-eyed appearance with black markings on his face were exactly the same as Sukuna.

But as far as she knew, Sukuna should still be sealed inside the body of a vessel named Itadori Yuji.

So where did this Sukuna in front of her come from?

But cursed energy doesn't lie. Even Itadori Yuji, who carries Sukuna's finger, has a completely different type of cursed energy, only carrying traces of Sukuna's residual power at best.

So, the black-haired young man before her must be Lord Sukuna!
