Chapter 9: chapter 9 : Entrance ceremony part 1
One by one, each person on the continent stared at the screen that appeared in front of them, a translucent window materializing in the world for the first time in 100 years.

No one could believe that a first-year student, with no background or family support, had achieved such a feat. The magnitude of this achievement was so incredible that not even they, S-class heroes, could understand it.
You must know that the first floor of the tower reflects your fears. There, darkness not only lurks, but feeds on your deepest fears. If you choose not to run away, if you decide to face them face to face, that is when the true journey begins. On the second floor, emotions are unleashed, amplified until they become wild and almost uncontrollable. Only if you manage to master them, even for an instant, will you be free to advance to the third floor, where your will will be put to the test. The battles are endless, and every blow, every wound, pushes you beyond your limits. If you give in, if you give in to despair, you will be cast out and branded as weak, but if you manage to keep going, without turning your back on death, then you will be worthy of advancing.
On the fourth floor, the echoes of your past resonate in every corner. There, your mistakes, your betrayals, and your failures rise like shadows, but so does the will that drove you here. If you hesitate, if your resolve wavers even for an instant, you will know that you do not have the courage or the commitment to continue. In this place, the inner strength of a wizard is measured with cruel precision: only those who remain steadfast, despite their inner demons, have the right to ascend.
If you manage to overcome all that, you will reach the fifth floor, the darkest of all. Here, your character will be destroyed and rebuilt in a single blow. You will be put before unthinkable dilemmas, decisions that will mark your soul. You may have to choose between saving a loved one by sacrificing your own life, or abandoning them in order to survive. In this place, the stress and tension are unbearable, and there are no right answers, only choices that define who you really are. You may choose to save your life, leaving your friend behind, but the tower does not forget. In the deepest shadows, it will search for your regrets, your burdens, your values, and will mark the line between good and evil with terrifying precision. Will you be able to bear the weight of your decisions? Or will you fall before it?
If you manage to overcome it, your name will be registered in the tower's ranking and you will be able to continue ascending from the fifth floor onwards. If you fail, you will have no choice but to start over. The dome acts as a save system: every five floors, it records your progress and evaluates your performance. As you clear each stage, you'll receive rewards that match your performance, tools that will allow you to take on the even greater challenges that await on the upper floors.
So far, no one has managed to reach the 100th floor, no matter how powerful they are. Neither S-Class, SS-Class, nor even the feared SSS-Class heroes have managed to overcome what the tower imposes on them. Each challenge is a different nightmare, and the tower adapts, honing its tests with each attempt, pushing you to confront your own limits in merciless ways. The only one to have made it as far as the 50th floor is Magnus Clear, the strongest man in the world and one of the five SSS-Class powerhouses. Yet even with all his power, even he has not been able to get close to the top. The tower is unforgiving. Each floor is a death trap, designed to break not only the body, but the mind as well. And, try as you might, there's always something else waiting.

Veronica stared incredulously at the screen in front of her, Alice was bewildered, no one expected this result.
It is known that time inside the dome passes differently; a minute outside can be equivalent to an hour inside. However, despite that, overcoming five floors in three hours is still impossible.
"His will is unbreakable. This child has potential," said a voice, interrupting the thoughts of everyone present, including mine. Who would dare? It was none other than the director.
I looked back, but I couldn't see him. It seemed that the old man had become stronger again. Hopefully, he won't be far from surpassing the SS class.
Old fool just says what he wants and disappears:
I stared at the boy relaxed in the camera: black hair, striking blue eyes. I had to say that he was a bit attractive, especially his eyes, but beyond that, I couldn't find any other quality to highlight, he seemed lost in his thoughts
Cyan vesper... I'll remember you

Huh...
Amelia took a deep breath, staggered, and then fell to the ground. After her failure in the theory test, she had wanted to prove herself by overcoming the dome, but the test turned out to be much more intense than she had imagined. She passed the first challenge extremely quickly. As one of the young ladies of the strongest guilds in the world, she feared nothing. So the first two floors didn't take her long. The real problem came with the third.
She was thrown into the middle of a village of goblins, those little green men with pointy ears and sharp teeth. It was disgusting just to look at them. But soon, with an effort and concentration she didn't know she had, she overcame them. However, when she thought it was all over, she was thrown into a battlefield.
Without saying a word, the crowd pounced on her. Even though she managed to conjure a defensive spell, the magic barely slowed down the assault. Arrows flew in every direction, sinking into her arms and legs. The pain was excruciating, but the fear of falling kept her standing. With each heartbeat, she felt her strength fading, but she refused to succumb.
Ignoring the burning that consumed her, she gathered the last vestige of mana within her. With a gasp, she launched a fireball towards her attackers. The explosion lit up the darkness, but it wasn't enough. They bore down on her with relentless brutality, severely wounding her. Despite everything, Amelia persevered, clinging to hope with the will to never give up...
◇ [Your determination has opened the door to the 4th floor. Do you wish to continue? Yes/No]
▪︎[Yes]
Fighting her own kind was a grueling experience, even for her, but she somehow managed to pull through. Suddenly, the world around her faded away, plunged into empty blackness, and soon, the fourth floor began to form around her. The walls came to life, taking on a shape that felt both familiar and strange. She looked around, and what she saw took her breath away: a woman with red eyes, identical to her own, with a warm, serene look on her face, as she held in her arms a little girl who was an exact replica of herself in her childhood. Amelia felt a shudder inside her, as if everything around her was searching for something inside her.
She quickly came to her senses. She knew she couldn't lose herself in the past; she had to move on. However, the tears fell harder as the illusion in front of her fluctuated, showing memories of her mother, up to the moment of her death at the hands of the demon. She saw how those memories forged her will, how the desire for revenge became her driving force. She could no longer afford to waste any more time.
"Thank you... and rest, mother..."
With those words, the illusion disappeared, taking her directly to the fifth floor. But nothing could stop her now.
