Chapter 82 Aleshia and the Green Wolf
After explaining what she had gone through, Lucia finally accepted Aleshia's request, nodding in understanding. When Aleshia saw that, she sighed in relief. Just as Aleshia was about to question Lucia about the otherwordly magic Lucia was harnessing, a menacing growl came from behind her. When she turned around, she saw the Green Wolf that accompanied Lucia right behind her, growling.
Aleshia jolted slightly, thinking the Green Wolf was about to pounce on her. Before she could react by casting her attack magic at the wolf, Lucia growled in the same menacing manner, stunning Aleshia as she had never known it could do that. Aleshia mistakenly believed that Lucia was shielding her from the Green Wolf. In reality, the wolf was introducing itself and asking for an introduction in return. Unfortunately, due to their language barrier, Aleshia misunderstood the wolf's friendly gesture as a menacing threat.
During their conversation, Lucia introduced Aleshia to the Green Wolf, saying, "The language you are using right now, she can't understand, so it might have frightened her to hear you speak. Also, The person wearing me is the ghoul I was talking about. This ghoul is named Aleshia,"
Dahdin was overcome with understanding and bowed in apology. "Right, of course, I am speaking to a human, or spirit of one," Dahdin said in his native tongue before looking at Aleshia and speaking in human. "My apologies for frightening you. My name is Dahdin, leader of a clan of wolves. Lucia here tells me you are her companion."
Aleshia was startled to hear human speech come out of the wolf. She was taken aback for a moment, leaving her momentarily speechless. But when she regained her senses, she quickly responded, "Yes, I am Lucia's companion, and I am okay. There is no need to apologize. I only didn't expect you to be moving as well. It only startled me."
"What do you mean by moving'?" Dahdin asked. He had listened to Aleshia explaining to Lucia earlier, but he was at a loss for the meaning of her explanation. When Aleshia was about to explain, Lucia cut her off, explaining that Dahdin couldn't understand the words she used. Instead, she translated the explanation into his language. "From what she told me, she has been in a limbo realm where everything was unmoving for her until she put me on. She said we were unmoving in her eyes." With Lucia's explanation, Dahdin nodded his head in understanding.
