The First Cultivator - Changing Existence

Chapter 929: The Omniverse - 929

Zhou Fan disappeared with the wind. Fa Zhu finally moved after a while. Since Zhou Fan had told him it was time to stop, he decided to stop. Otherwise, he wouldn't know how he died. Time passed as the Universe changed.

Zhou Fan had become immune to the changes that occurred. To him, who saw on a higher level, the Universe never truly changed. Time passed and passed as he strove towards higher levels.

During this time, the Multiverse continued to expand larger and larger. At some point, it didn't even seem fit to simply call it a Multiverse anymore. It was just too big for that term to encompass it all.

He met up with a few people, among them Lu Jue, Fa Zhu, Ying Xiong, the Grand Empyrean, and a few other ancient beings of note.

They decided on multiple things involving the future of the Multiverse, including a name for what it would be called from now on. Well, there were actually two names.

One was the Infinite Multiverse, referring to their space. It was essentially infinite even now. Billions of Sage Years had passed since Fa Zhu had destroyed half of it, but it was now thousands of times larger.

They didn't even have a number to determine how many people were working on expanding the Multiverse. Countless rewards went out every day, and plenty hired people to do it off the record. Even if the Multiverse was not truly infinite, just like Zhou Fan was not truly Immortal, it was essentially so, and it would only grow larger and at a faster rate.

The second term coined was the Omniverse. It was to the Multiverse what the Multiverse was to a Universe.

The name came from the idea to create more Multiverses. They would be initialized as a Universe in the nothingness, and connected to this Multiverse via complicated arrays that only someone like Zhou Fan could create. Fa Zhu and Lu Jue could help.

Billions of Sage Years passed, and even Hun Wu and Hun Luan joined in. They had both reached the High Immortal realm, along with Lu Jue, Ye Li, and Fa Zhu. But Zhou Fan could tell that the Universe had reached a limit.

Beings more talented than Fa Zhu, Hun Luan, Hun Wu, and Lu Jue, would almost certainly never exist.

Even Zhou Fan could not truly claim to be a talent above them. He was simply different. His path was supreme among all, and although Fa Zhu's Magic Path was considered equal to cultivation by countless beings, Zhou Fan did not think so. Cultivation was the true path, in his opinion.

It wasn't something measured in combat strength or lifespan, but simply by the purity of the path. Zhou Fan's path was the purest of them all.

At its core, it was simply absorbing energy.

This was the way to grow, and all paths followed that logic.

Even if Fa Zhu only absorbed energy to replenish his Mana pool, it was still required for him to absorb energy in order to grow.

Zhou Fan took part in the overall creation of the Omniverse.

He took the fifty Universe's he had created long ago inside of the nothingness and connected them to the Main Multiverse.

Now, there were technically 51 Multiverses, even if 50 of them were only the size of a Universe.

Zhou Fan marked the first expansion, expanding the 50 Universes by thousands of times. Leaf's tree still existed within all of them, and the expansion of these Universes would help him out tremendously.

Notably, an existence known as the Zombie King came from one of these Universes. He had lived for countless years, and he was in the Chaos Immortal realm.

His ambitions to conquer the new spaces that opened up were quickly shattered, as he soon understood the status quo of the Universe.

To define it in a single term, Zhou Fan is above all, the rest are equals.

Even Ye Li came back, bringing with him a Universe he had created inside of the nothingness.

That made 52. Ye Li was still the closest to Zhou Fan, never once disappointing Zhou Fan's expectations.

Zhou Fan let a council including all of the strongest beings with an interest, design 48 Universes to make the number of Multiverses 100. These were quickly made, and all of the Multiverses began the process of infinite expansion. A lot of it could be done automatically, but it still required countless beings in order to keep the expansion quick and smooth.

Countless Sage Years passed. Although talents lived and died, the Omniverse was filled with more and more beings every single day. Path Creators of immense talent were born very often. Plenty even had the potential to reach levels similar to ancient Path Creators.

Many areas in the Universe were designated as forbidden grounds, as powerful Path Creators would gather in these high value places.

There were just too many scattered around. The most prominent location was where Zhou Fan resided. Millions of powerful Path Creators stayed at the top of the Main Multiverse.

The weakest being among them were Domain Immortals, and there were very few of them. Most were at least Immortal Lords.

Even more time passed, and the 100 Multiverses all reached the status of an infinite Multiverse.

There were countless unique talents, and Universes where every being was an Immortal. There were clans where children were born as Universe Immortals, and yet still there were mortal worlds and humans everywhere.

There was literally everything everywhere.

Even Zhou Fan could not see it all anymore.

There was simply too much.

The Multiverses could expand infinitely because they were rooted in the nothingness, which had no concept of space in it.

Nobody planned to stop there. Plans for new Omniverses were created. And above that, theoreticals for the next name were undergoing trial and error.

Nobody was against the expansion of existence.

Zhou Fan looked on into the distance, wondering when the end to his journey here would begin. It was close, and it was getting closer every day. He could feel it approaching.
