Chapter 928: Fa Zhu's - 928
Fa Zhu thought about it and agreed. There would be no harm. And if this man wanted to hurt him, it would be impossible for him to resist.
With Fa Zhu's consent, the man put a hand on his shoulder and disappeared.
Fa Zhu couldn't even comprehend how fast he was going. In what felt like a minute, he opened his eyes and saw the ground and the sky once again.
"Welcome to a super world. Here, you won't lack anything unless you are ready to become an Immortal." The man said.
"Are you an Immortal?" Fa Zhu asked.
The man began to laugh. "No, I'm not even close. I'm actually quite weak compared to many of the people on this planet."
Fa Zhu was both stunned and excited. This meant that plenty of people were this powerful, and he was confident he could be as strong, if not stronger than them.
The man left soon after, simply telling Fa Zhu to come find him if he was ever strong enough.
In this new world, which was filled with nearly infinite opportunities, Fa Zhu began to thrive.
He found sects, powerful cultivators, learned how to fight, and understood that his path was different. He was something known as a Path Creator.
He grew stronger and stronger as years and years passed.
He grew far faster than cultivators did. However, he could tell that his lifespan was shorter. He made his goal Immortality. It was a barrier not exclusive to Cultivators. It represented infinite life. Even for him.
Zhou Fan watched with interest as Fa Zhu went through his life.
He was powerful for sure. But he did not have access to anything like Chaos Qi. He only had the fundamentals of Qi. No unique constitution, no special affinity, no innate talent, nothing. But there had been countless beings born with no such things, and those who reached the higher Immortal realms found most innate talents useless, most affinities pointless, and most unique constitutions irrelevant. One could forge their own talent within the Immortal realms.
Rules were a perfect example. But even those who comprehended special Rules would have their advantage ignored once they reached the Immortal Emperor realm.
Anyone could grow within the Universe. Zhou Fan had ensured that, both intentionally and unintentionally.
But Zhou Fan still focused on cultivating above everything. He had only placed any attention on Fa Zhu out of curiosity and interest. From the looks of it, his destiny was to reach a level at least equal to Lu Jue's, if not higher. He would probably exceed even Hun Luan and Hun Wu.
Sage Years passed.
Suddenly, he had to open his eyes and pay attention. A new being had reached the Chaos Immortal realm, or something equivalent to it.
He was confused, as only around a hundred Sage Years had passed since he had stopped paying attention.
He looked over, and was surprised to see half the Multiverse devoid of life.
Well, besides one being. A red Magic circle surrounded him, the last traces of blood left floating through space entering the Magic circle and reaching his body.
He had just broken through to the Chaos Immortal realm, the rivers of blood surely assisting him.
Zhou Fan was honestly a bit surprised. Half of the Multiverse was an extremely vast amount of space. Even Zhou Fan would take a few moves to destroy it.
This massacre must have been going on for thousands of years. Surely, someone like Lu Jue wouldn't just sit aside and watch. But Lu Jue had been lured outside of the Multiverse by none other than Ye Li.
It was just another conflict going on. It didn't affect Zhou Fan because it wasn't important enough to actually alert him.
But he figured he should probably stop it before Fa Zhu went for the rest of the Multiverse. Not for any other reason besides the fact that Multiversal expansion was slowing considerably with the deaths and the wars being fought.
Fa Zhu stood up, bursting with power. A wand in his hand trembled with enough power to shatter Universes with a casual wave, using Mana or not.
Just as he prepared to move forward, Zhou Fan appeared in front of him.
Fa Zhu did not react, just staring at Zhou Fan.
"Wrap it up." Zhou Fan said.
Fa Zhu just tilted his head. "You are the one Ye Li spoke about."
Zhou Fan nodded.
"He said you wouldn't kill me, and that I should attack you if I had the chance." Fa Zhu said.
Zhou Fan nodded. "He probably wanted to teach you the difference between Heaven and Earth. Go ahead."
Fa Zhu thought for a moment before waving his wand. "Heavenly Fire Sea."
What felt like an infinite amount of golden fire descended upon Zhou Fan.
Zhou Fan didn't move an inch. He didn't even blink.
But the fire was extinguished as Fa Zhu completely froze, unable to move. A single line remained on his neck. It was only deep enough to draw a single drop of blood.
"Even Ye Li cannot comprehend me anymore. There is no amount of beings below my realm that could cut a hair on my head. Now settle down. No need to kill anymore unless it is within your territory. Take a hint from the other Path Creators."
Fa Zhu was unable to move an inch until Zhou Fan left. Even after Zhou Fan left, and he was able to move, he didn't. He had experienced countless wars, countless battles, countless massacres, he had faced death countless times, but nothing had shocked him like this. It was as if a god that could do anything with a thought stood in front of him.
Ye Li had tricked him into thinking there was a possibility of learning anything from that battle besides fear.
But he did not fear too much. He wasn't sure if it was possible to reach that level, but all he could do was try.
He had never met anyone quite like him, after all.
