NOVEL NEXT Chapter 185: [Fight III]
The first spell of the Primordial Vampire altered the environment around him. It converted the free mana-dense air, into an enchanted mana translucent smog that solely surrendered to the Vampire King. Everything that was around him, will function according to his will, in ways he wanted and in the direction he wished for them to be. Unless a special mana, something like the one created by [The Ancient One] exists, there was little the opponent could do against him.
But his new skill, the strongest one in his arsenal, was limited to his own body and not to the surroundings. Like unlocking his complete potential at once, it allowed the Vampire King to go beyond what was normal, almost akin to a God of Destruction, he was a walking havoc. The air, along with the mana it contained, began disintegrating slowly, just by being in his presence. And his presence made those around him get on their knees and surrender themselves to the king, only awaiting for him to deliver the final blow, a mercy bestowed upon them by the king.
"Isn't this cheating at this point?" I mumbled with a slight chuckle as I looked at his presence, at least 100 times stronger than before.
This… was a true peak SS-Grade Monster, at the edge of SSS-Grade.
An existence akin to God himself. I thought before taking a deep breath before recollecting my emotions.

My eyes closed, I perceived the path he was going to take to reach me, each minuscule movement that he was going to make, every breath he was going to take in the next few seconds.

And then, to disturb it, even by a minuscule amount, I created a 'Heavy Air' enough to shift his range of motions, ever so slightly.
The future changed, ever so scarcely, and I worked on it even more, did things even faster, more concentrated, more focused. Reducing unnecessary movements and reducing unnecessary tension.
That won't be enough. I analysed my plans, then modified them. Then I analysed them once more and changed them even more. It was only in single digits at first, but then I did it for the 11th time, and then soon the 20th, 30th, and by the time the few seconds I had were over, I had finished adjusting my plans 47 times.

His body moved faster than sound, reaching around me before I could even blink. And then taking a proper posture, he moved in for a punch. The air trembled, sucked in his closed fist, before he unleashed it all on me at a speed that was impossible for me to dodge.

And I stood there, without making any movements as I saw his attack missing me by a few centimetres. The surrounding air, the extra force that was generated by the fist, which should have blown away was already gone. Using the [Creation Index] I erased all the extra force that came towards me.
My eyes slowly opened as I looked at his body, slowly deviating from his original position as the 'heavy air' that I was creating increased the tension on some of his minor muscles, increasing the power of some, decreasing the power of others.
"You have to do better than that," I said with a calm smile as I looked at the Vampire King without any hesitation on my face.
This still did not mean that I was totally overwhelming the Vampire King. Nope, it was just that I could barely control his movements, diverting them from their focus point.
And to be honest, even that was taking all of my efforts. If I didn't figure out a way to stop his attacks completely or find a way to counter him, there was a high chance that I would be defeated here.
Slowly focusing back on the Vampire king's widening smile, it didn't seem like he was going to quit right now. He was getting more and more excited as the fight was moving.

He vanished from my sight before a blur appeared behind me, making me sigh. A fist tight enough to make that guy bleed, a force strong enough to erase mountains, moved towards me, and then missed my body as I turned around seemingly disinterested as I observed his body almost less than a meter away from me.
Raising my hand, as I tried touching his body, I saw him vanish again before he appeared a dozen meters away from me.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" He laughed out loud, enough to shake the surroundings, his body erasing each and everything in his surroundings as he shouted,
"CROWLEY!!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!"
Creating a dozen balls of blood in the air that soon turned into spikes, he threw them at me. And as those blood spikes were divided into 24, 48, 98, soon reaching 100s and above, the Vampire King himself reached behind me, ready to punch me with all his might.

The punch was strong enough to destroy the stage completely now, while the blood spike engulfed the air, the ground, the living and the non-living. The previous serene environment was gone, and now a desolate wasteland was presented in front of us.
And as the dust cleared, I looked at the Vampire King punching the empty air, while my illusion vanished in front of him. Meanwhile, I sat on his head, making his eyes widen out.
In the distance, I saw the other beings, the other vampires, the humans, observing the area with a look of disbelief on their faces. Whether they were shocked at the destruction that the Vampire King brought, or at the fact that I seemed to be simply playing with him, it was something that I did not know.
For my concern was simply…
"Shall we stop now? Any more and we would be destroying more than what we can rebuild," I spoke with a slight sigh before I jumped off him and stepped on the destroyed floor.

Spending a bit of my energy, as soon as I stepped on the floor, I restored the entire area with a single click without showing any signs of fatigue, walking away from him.
"If you want more fights, things will get interesting for you. Just climb the tower… while this world isn't powerful enough to hold you or me, the tower should be. Let's have our round 2 there," I added as I hoped he would call my bluff now.
And looking at him through my special sense, I found him returning to his normal state, as he was when I met him a few minutes ago.
I still need to get much stronger. I sighed on the inside before moving back to the city, with the Vampire King walking behind me with a satisfied smile on his face.
