The Extra’s Survival: Logging into the Game Master System!

Chapter 184: [Fight II]

I observed the carefree look on his face. A smile with minimal movements of the lips, yet radiant enough to lighten up anyone's mood. His half-closed eyelids, seemed to lack concentration, and crimson pupils whose concentration doesn't seem to falter even if it's the end of the world.

A slow smile took over my face as I slashed with my free weapon, forcing him to open his gigantic vermillion wings and then flap away from my right blade. A tinge of red was placed upon my blade, that seemed to be slowly seeping into the weapon, distorting the blue white symphony it had.

[Twin Guns of Azeroth

Current Status: Cursed

Description: A Blood Distortion Curse has been placed on the weapon, slowly seeping into the weapon causing it to distort according to the Curser's Wish]

[Would you like to erase the current curse effect from the weapon for 40,000 GM Points?]

A simple yes before I looked at the curse giver, the vampire observing me with a rather surprised look.

[Absolute Relocation!]

As the world halted, turning everything black and white, I took a small breath. And then created a staircase using [Creation Index]. I reached up to the Vampire King, carefully positioning myself behind him and then aiming at his neck with the best of my ability. Moments before my blade came in contact with his neck, at a distance which was almost impossible to dodge, I turned my skill [Absolute Relocation] off once again.

In the brief instant, the small window that was less than a thousandth of a second, the Vampire King's body was pushed away from me by an invisible force. It then vanished from my front, before appearing behind me. Just like I saw through the foresight ability, an attack came at me from behind, aimed at my neck, at the exact same point I was aiming at before, in the exact same position in which I was doing so.

-Clank!

This time, without turning around, I used my blades to create the perfect parry, which failed, miserable enough to knock me off my rhythm, but still good enough to save my neck from that 'sudden' attack.

-Clank!

Let's increase the intensity this time. I recalculated

-Clank! x4

A little bit more energy, and then fix my rhythm. I recalculated.

-Clank! x10

Still not enough. I must make sure I am propelling his attack in the direction I want. I recalculated.

-Clank! x100

Let's say if I can take control of his rhythm, too. I recalculated.

-Clank! X1000

The fight kept going on as I was pushed, pulled, thrown and bashed at least half the times that I had pushed, pulled, thrown and bashed him. As time passed, I was adapting to his attacks, and as I was adapting, I saw him changing his rhythm, attacks, powers and skills.

He was improvising on my improvised skills, making me work at least a dozen times more each time. And the most irritating part about this was that he probably wasn't using all of his powers either.

"Phuahahahahahah!!!! CROWLEY!!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!! I TRULY UNDERESTIMATED YOU!!! ENTERTAIN ME MORE!!!!" Julius, the Crimson-Eyed, Vampire King shouted with a huge laugh, increasing the intensity of his attacks even more.

Gone was the hesitation that was present before, his drooping eyelids now had a vigour filled with enthusiasm. His crimson eyes, previously stagnant like a dull canvas, were now creating a certain glow that seemed to contain a universe of their own. The small smile was replaced by a wide grin, ready to devour the 'play' presented to him.

At this point, he was barely below my full power. I would need to push myself to the best of my ability if I wanted to parry his attacks, predict his next move, and then hope to learn something from it. The rhythm I was gaining control of, will only slip by with time as I would need to find a way to end this whole farce.

That is if we don't include the [Game Master System].

[Reducing the NPC's powers by 10%]

A simple statement that changed our positions by a whole degree as I saw the power of the entire world around me shifting. The mana thinned a little, and then the overall power of all the beings reduced subsequently, accordingly. While the change would not have been so apparent for beings with little to no power, for someone like the Vampire King, who was at the epitome, the peak of this world's power, that 10% made him at least a dozen times weaker than I was.

His speed was now slower than mine, most of the spells that were slightly working would now barely affect me, while I could simply continue to overwhelm him like before.

And obviously, he too sensed the changes that had occurred. Whether he could see the truth of the whole world's power reducing, or just the illusion of me getting stronger than before, was something that depended upon how capable he was.

A normal person would be terrified of the changes but here we have him, getting even more excited than before. The more I show my strength, the more excited he gets. I observed him, flying in the sky, getting even more excited than before.

A sigh escaped my mouth as I waited for his next attack to come, which probably would be the final power up he may be showing me. It was about time he showed me his most powerful skill.

And just like I predicted, his wide smile calmed down a bit before he raised both his hands out wide, closed his eyes for a few seconds, and then after mumbling something incomprehensible for a few more seconds, opened them back again. This time, his crimson eyes had a golden cross in them, a certain type of holy energy that seemed to be quite distinct, quiet odd, from his usual vampiric powers.

His eyes slowly turned to me, his wide grin had already turned into a small humble smile. In the next moment, with the same expectant face as before, he chanted his most powerful spell,

"[World Magic: The First Immortal]"
