The black hound that left two gigantic claw marks on the spot nearly reached Chu Feng in an instant. Several gleaming black talons suddenly sprang out from its paw, which resembled a bear's, and with a swift motion, they slashed towards Chu Feng's chest.

In the blink of an eye, with only a loud THUMP! heard, the black hound's huge body doubled over and was sent flying backward.

"AWOO!"

After letting out a pained whimper upon landing, the black hound slowly got back up again.

As Chu Feng lowered his leg, he looked at the black hound that had struggled back to its feet and couldn't help but praise it, "What a good dog!"

But then he shook his head. "Too bad you come from Hell!"

The long knife in his hand flashed, and Chu Feng's figure instantly vanished.

In the distance, the black hound seemed to sense the arrival of death, its blood-red eyes showing a trace of fear.

"I'm sorry, but I can't let you kill my pet just like that!" A magnetic voice rang out instantly.

As the sudden voice sounded, a pitch-black chain materialized, striking towards Chu Feng, who had already appeared before the black hound.

"Another one?" Chu Feng turned, and with a swing of his long knife, sent the chain that was mere inches away flying.

Frowning slightly, he turned his gaze towards the middle-aged man who was gradually approaching.

"Heh. You almost look the part," Chu Feng sneered, watching the approaching middle-aged man who carried a gentleman's cane and affected the air of a nobleman.

"Before you come out to put on an act, could you perhaps try to cover up that disgusting stench of sulfur? It's really choking me..."

"Mr. Chu Feng, I believe you need to relearn your etiquette lessons! At the very least, you should know what politeness is." The middle-aged man's magnetic voice suddenly deepened considerably.

"Politeness?" Chu Feng glanced at the high wall built from human corpses in the distance, his face an icy mask. "You scum from Hell don't deserve it!"

The middle-aged man followed Chu Feng's gaze to the wall of corpses. His eyes flickered, and then he suddenly chuckled.

"My apologies. I didn't expect you to care about the lives of those human ants."

"If the lips are gone, the teeth will be cold; when a rabbit dies, the fox grieves. While there is indeed some irredeemable trash among humans, there are also lives that must not be defiled."

As these words were spoken, the last smile left by Laila suddenly flashed through Chu Feng's mind.

Seeing a flicker of distraction in Chu Feng's eyes, the middle-aged man's lips curled into a smirk, and the pitch-black chain in his hand shot out instantly.

The black hound behind Chu Feng, as if on command, tensed its hind leg muscles. Its massive body then leaped, pouncing straight at Chu Feng's back.

"Good timing! But... it's useless!"

A dazzling golden light erupted from Chu Feng's body, followed by another lightning-fast flash of his long knife.

The instant he knocked the iron chain away again, Chu Feng spun around and unleashed another slash.

A frigid current burst from the blade, instantly freezing the black hound in mid-air. The blade's light followed close behind.

An instant later, the black hound's corpse, split in two, fell to the ground and gradually turned into two piles of ash.

"Looks like Hell-hound hot pot is off the menu," Chu Feng sighed, clicking his tongue twice.

"Berg!" the middle-aged man cried out in anguish.

"Chu Feng, you dare kill my pet! I want you dead..."

Hearing this, Chu Feng picked at his ear and taunted, "You cur, where did you pick up such classic villain lines?"

Enraged by this, the middle-aged man finally dropped the gentlemanly facade he had maintained for so long.

He casually tossed aside his exquisite gentleman's cane, raised both hands to grip the sides of his top hat, and let out an inhuman roar.

"I will tear you to pieces..."

His well-fitted suit instantly strained, then burst. Dark-red, terrifyingly savage muscles bulged, ripping through the fabric to expose themselves to the air.

"Oh? Going for the 'clothes-bursting' transformation, are we?"

Watching the series of transformations occurring to the man's body, Chu Feng was instantly reminded of a video that had once been widely circulated on the internet.

The top hat on his head slowly fused with his scalp. After a moment of squirming, two thick goat horns sprouted menacingly from the "man's" head.

It's actually a Demon? Chu Feng was somewhat astonished.

He had assumed the other party was an Evil Spirit serving some devil from Hell. He truly hadn't expected a Demon to hide its own horns.

Weren't a Demon's horns supposed to be their pride?

"Now, you may begin to flee!" the transformed Demon declared, flapping its two massive bat-like wings and baring vicious fangs as it looked down indifferently at Chu Feng below.

"Run? Heh." Chu Feng scoffed at the suggestion.

"If you were a devil or the Demon King of Hell, I'd definitely turn and flee right now. Unfortunately for you... you're not!"

With that, Chu Feng's long knife flashed. A colossal, searing torrent of flame erupted from the blade, surging to engulf the Demon in mid-air.

"Devil? Demon King? Such arrogance! It's only because you've never witnessed the true majesty of a Demon King that a human ant like you harbors such blind confidence!"

The Demon in mid-air flickered, instantly dodging Chu Feng's attack.

Then, the pitch-black chain in its hand trembled violently. It was instantly enveloped in a ball of fire from Hell, emitting a dazzling red glow.

The now crimson chain was flung out by the Demon. Seemingly capable of infinite extension, it shot towards Chu Feng in the blink of an eye.

CLANG!

Sparks flew with a clear clang of metal on metal as he struck the attacking crimson chain aside.

Just as Chu Feng was about to attack the Demon, the chain he had knocked aside rattled and, to his surprise, whipped back towards his rear.

"This is really getting annoying..." Sensing the sound from behind, Chu Feng's left hand, glowing with a dazzling golden light, shot out and snatched the incoming chain.

TWANG! Under Chu Feng's immense strength, the bent chain made a soft sound as it was instantly pulled taut.

"Get down here!"

Chu Feng yanked hard on the chain, causing the Demon in mid-air to stumble.

You want it? the Demon thought. "Then you can have it!" With a mental command from the Demon, the taut chain instantly began to extend rapidly, coiling and twisting through the sky like countless crimson serpents in flight.

After writhing in mid-air for some time, the serpent-like chains, as if finally locating their prey, rapidly coiled towards Chu Feng on the ground, who still gripped one of their ends.

"This chain... since you no longer want it, I'll accommodate you!"

Watching the chains draw ever nearer, Chu Feng had a thought, and the Spiritual Power within the blade of his long knife instantly transformed.
