The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 412- Knights Vs Demonified Knights (3)

Whether it be enemy or ally, everyone was stunned. In the time it took to blink, Reinhardt had disintegrated more than a thousand foes in a single move.

That standard was difficult even for extreme knights to imitate unless they went all out.

Too powerful!!

Every knight present in the chamber had the same thought. While bathed in the awe of everyone around him, the man himself was busy inspecting his own skill as he slowly clenched and unclenched his fist.

This was the first time he had used his Unique Skill- [Arsenal of the God].

[Arsenal of the God]: Description - A fragmentary gift from Dioanax, the Lord of Divine Wrath, said to be the keeper of all sacred armaments ever wielded by champions of light. The skill grants Reinhardt instant access to Dionax's Celestial Treasury, a boundless armory containing every weapon wielded by Dioanax.

These were not mere replicas but faith-forged echoes of the originals, each radiating the will of justice and purity.

In that attack, he had not used the [Heaven's Armory], as that would have collapsed the entire vault along with the underground chamber, burying everyone beneath. No, what he used earlier was one of the extension abilities of the skill.

When activating [Arsenal of the God], Reinhardt temporarily gained the status of [Weapon Dominion], allowing him to become the absolute master of all weapons within a two mile radius of himself.

All weapons, whether on the ground, held by enemies, or sealed away, answered his call as if drawn by fate.

Of course, there were exceptions, like the demonic weapons and, well, 'Tiamat', if it could even be identified as one.

Anyway, the weapons he had used earlier came from the royal treasury itself. Be that as it may, the Unique Skill [Armory of the God] was still extremely powerful. Additionally, it was not a skill that could be imparted or passed down to others.

That is to say, his squad could not use it. As the name suggested, it was a unique skill that could only be used by him and him alone.

"Let's go. It's time we finish this," Reinhardt said, turning to his fellow commanders.

With the use of [Armory of the God], a path through the legion of demonified knights opened before them.

To close the disturbance plaguing the royal vault, they needed to reach the Abyssal Compass at the end of the vault, protected by the three Devil Brothers.

Marquis Herman and Leona, by his side, nodded and rushed forward.

Just before turning his gaze away, Reinhardt's eyes caught one weapon in particular amongst the many he had summoned earlier.

A sword of purity and brilliance, its exquisite design and razor sharp edge could even cut through the toughest of defences. Adorned with intricate engravings, the weapon emitted a powerful holy aura.

If it had to be said, the sword was far too familiar to him. Even as he walked past it, he felt a connection, one that resonated deep within.

Why would he not? After all, that holy sword before him was the previous primary weapon of this very body, the Holy Sword Galgano.

Far behind, near the entrance of the vault, the squires tasked with protecting the Bloomkeeper stood frozen, their wide eyes glued to the scene unfolding before them.

The battle of the knights was an eye opener, to say the least. What they were witnessing wasn't just combat; it was artistry.

Each clash of sword and claw sent shockwaves through the vast chamber. Every step mirrored lethal precision. Each strike, parry, and shift in footing was perfectly measured and terrifyingly deliberate to say the least.

It was so impossibly flawless that the onlooking squires couldn't catch their breath for even a moment.

"Senior Vangeance has gotten even stronger," Kevin murmured.

The others nodded wordlessly, unable to look away.

"Even though the Commander's title is strengthening all of us, that kind of movement and precision cannot be achieved through auxiliary boosts," Gwen added

What Vangeance displayed was his own strength, the foundation he had built and honed through countless battles.

As someone who had reached level five at her young age and was slowly touching the transcendent state of [One with the Sword], she could perceive the deeper elements of the fight before her eyes.

While Vangeance made it appear effortless, she knew it was anything but that. Beneath every motion lay countless layers of mastery and discipline, each guiding and fueling the raw ferocity of his attacks.

The measured rhythm of footsteps, the minuscule shifts of his muscles, that made each dodge feel as if he could see through the future, every part of his movement resonated with years of practice and experience.

It was no longer just swordsmanship. It was instinct, sharpened into the most optimal form.

The others saw it too.

Rolan's hands clenched tightly around his weapon, while Delicia stood still, her eyes fixed on the knight's fluid movements.

"Since he can now execute the Second Light of the [Holy Blade Art], does that mean he's reached the state of [Heart of the Sword]?" Rolan asked quietly, suprise and awe masked his face.

Down on the battlefield, Vangeance's cloak snapped from the wind, given how blindingly fast he was moving.

The silver of his blade gleamed against the blackness of the vault like pure light cutting through darkness. The demonified knights surged at him from all directions, their crimson eyes blazing with hatred.

Each blow they unleashed carried remnants of their former strength as knights, monstrous and relentless.

But even against such odds, Vangeance's sword did not falter. He intercepted every strike before impact, twisting his wrist to redirect force and deliver counterblows filled with holy light that tore his foes in half.

Then, just as he finished with one opponent, demonic energy churned violently all of a sudden as numerous magic circles formed in the air.

Powered by the corrupted mana and demonic artifacts of the fallen, the artifacts pulsed with an eerie red light, converging on a single target.... Vangeance.
