For ordinary humans, just standing near these demonified entities would have been enough to melt their sanity. Even though these knights had died and were simply husks of the evil power controlling them, they were still high ranking knights once.

"[Great Lancer Formation]!" one of the knights from the Royal Lion Guards shouted. Energy spears that bore the phantoms of mighty golden lions shot forward in a dazzling array.

ROAR… The spears traveled through the air faster than a blink, tearing through the demonic armor of the enemy like hot blades through paper.

Every attack hit its mark, detonating in bursts of formidable golden sparks. The knights of the Royal Lion Guards showed why they were counted among the Seven Great Knight Orders.

So how could Marquis Herman, as the commander of the order, not be amazing as well?

A wall of might, muscle, and regalness, that was who the commander of the Royal Lion Guards was. A blazing radiance of a golden lion, heavy with ancient aura, wrapped around his figure.

Whenever he swung his greatsword in a wide arc, bodies vanished. There wasn't cutting, there wasn't blood; there was simply erasure.

That's right, the demonified knights ceased to exist where his blade passed, as if devoured by something unseen.

Of course, if one looked up at the humongous phantom of a golden lion above the knight, they would realize what had happened.

All of the enemies hadn't disappeared; they were instead inside the maw of the lion, slowly being devoured. That was the essence of the Royal Lion Guards' techniques... devour.

Fighting beside them, the knights of the Lunar Veil weren't being outdone either. As one of the Seven Great Knight Orders, they harnessed the powers of the stars to bring forth starfalls that disintegrated their enemies and purged their corruption.

Their swift, fluid swordplay with infinite variations countered the demonified knights' movements perfectly.

As for Leona, she was like a streak of moonlight dancing through the fray. Each of her movements carried surgical grace.

She moved so fast that one could only see glimmers of reflected light. With each flash of moonlight, countless enemies were torn in half.

BANG… Then, stomping her boots against the ground, she somersaulted through the air, cleaving dozens of demonified knights mid leap.

If the Commander of the Royal Lion Guard embodied raw ferocity, then the Commander of the Lunar Veil embodied precision and death.

The knights from both orders fought with the techniques that defined their legacy.

Of course, the knights of the Temple of Light were not ones to be outdone.

Even though in recent years they had fallen from grace and stood at the tail end of the Seven Great Knight Orders, the foundation of their order remained strong.

What's more, after the new soul in Reinhardt took charge, he had completely changed the Temple for the better. The training regime he devised using [Heaven's Memory], the powerful skills he passed down, and the effects of Myrrh leaves were now truly manifesting.

The current Temple of Light was already far different from what it had been a few years ago. One could see Reinhardt's influence in every motion and strike of his knights.

As he casually stepped through the battlefield, his divine aura purged all traces of malice and corruption. Sparks of power rippled from his slightest gesture, weakening and intimidating the enemy.

He had yet to truly act, but his presence alone had already drawn an absurd number of demonified knights toward him.

"Let's start by cleaning the filth here a little."

Saying that, he extended his hand and made a fist. A complex formation filled with divine runes erupted below his feet and rose into the air. Quickly, it reached the ceiling and expanded at a mind boggling rate.

That was not all. Layers upon layers of formations erupted from Reinhardt and sank into that enormous circle, looking almost like cosmic gates that led straight to the domain of the gods.

"I don't think the vault would be able to take the full brunt of Heaven's Arsenal. In that case, I'll tone it down to the weapons here," Reinhardt thought to himself before activating his skill [Arsenal of the Gods].

At that moment, all the weapons inside the royal vault, except the demonic ones, shone with brilliant golden light before shattering into fragments of radiance.

At the same time, through the golden formation emerged countless weapons: swords, halberds, spears, lances, bows, axes, and even relics of unknown form. They all hovered in the air, pointed toward the enemy below.

These weapons were exactly those stored within the vault, now awakened and bound to his will.

"Die." In a casual, indifferent voice, he slowly opened his fist.

At that moment, all the weapons obeyed his command, descending in a stormlike fury.

BOOOM…

The resulting explosion didn't just shake the vault, it flattened a quarter of it. Walls melted into white hot slag, and a burst of pure energy consumed everything demonic in a cone of vaporizing light.

When the light finally faded, silence replaced sound.
