Chapter 9;Goblin Commander?

"Is that a hobgoblin?" Leon thought to himself, a familiar image from an anime flashing through his mind. He moved forward, bracing himself, his silver sword gleaming in his hand. A towering wall of muscle, three meters tall, spotted him and instantly charged, his eyes fixed on him like a predator sizing up its prey.

With terrifying speed, the giant goblin charged, its pace matching Leon . The two collided in a shower of sparks, their weapons clashing with a resounding "CLANG!" , "CLANG!", "CLANG!" that reverberated through the battlefield. The force of the impact hammered into Leon, leaving no doubt in his mind: the goblin possessed overwhelming strength. Direct confrontation was suicide. He needed to be clever.

The goblin swung its massive iron mace, aiming for Leon's head. Leon dodged with a blur of motion, but the force of the blow nearly sent him tumbling. He quickly retreated, anticipating the next blow. As the mace came crashing down again, Leon leaped backwards, avoiding the impact and landing gracefully on his feet.

The fight became a deadly game of cat and mouse—Leon the nimble mouse, the giant goblin the relentless cat. He danced around the goblin, dodging its thunderous blows while searching for an opening. He quickly realized his sword couldn't reach the goblin's upper body, its massive frame towering above him. His strategy shifted: he would target the giant goblin's ankles.

As the giant goblin swung its mace again, Leon's chance arrived. He leaped sideways, landing beside the giant creature. With a swift, precise slash, his sword found its mark, tearing into the goblin's ankle. Green blood splattered, a testament to the power of his strike. Leon continued this strategy, relentlessly attacking the goblin's ankles, weakening its massive frame.

The giant goblin roared in fury, its rage a sonic wave that almost knocked Leon off his feet. Its entire body pulsed with a crimson glow, a blood-red mist swirling around it like a malevolent aura.

The giant goblin took a single, earth-shattering step, closing the distance between them in an instant. Its massive iron mace swung down with the force of a collapsing mountain.

Leon, always vigilant, was caught off guard. He hadn't anticipated such a surge of speed from the enraged creature. Realizing the dire situation, he instantly activated his A-rank Skill, Moonlight Aura. His body pulsed with silver light, his speed multiplying fivefold. But it still wasn't enough to dodge the blow. He raised his sword, a shimmering barrier against the descending mace.

The impact was deafening. A resounding "clang" echoed through the dungeon as the iron mace met Leon's blade. The force of the blow sent Leon flying backwards like a broken kite. With a sickening "bang," he slammed into the dungeon wall, the impact jarring his bones.

Leon's right hand, the one that had borne the brunt of the goblin's attack, hung limply at his side. The bone was shattered, the impact sending shockwaves through his entire body. The collision with the wall had taken its toll, leaving his internal organs bruised and aching. His spinal bones, thankfully, remained intact, but the force of the blow had left him gasping for breath, a crimson stain blossoming on his lips as he coughed up blood.

The girls watching the battle were gripped with anxiety. Seeing Leon's condition, they were ready to charge into the fray, especially Fei and Stella, whose fury burned like a wildfire. Stella, however, caught Leon's eye. He gave her a brief, reassuring nod, and she immediately activated her healing skill. A soft silver light enveloped Leon, mending his broken bones and soothing his internal injuries.

Leon pushed himself to his feet, his body still throbbing with pain. The giant goblin was charging towards him, its mace raised high. Gripping his sword with his left hand, Leon braced himself, his right arm still healing under Stella's care.

The goblin reached him, but Leon, his speed amplified fivefold by his Moonlight Aura, dodged with effortless grace. He resumed his strategy, targeting the goblin's feet, but it was no longer as effective as before. The goblin's skin had hardened, becoming as tough as steel. His sword, though powerful, only managed to tear at its flesh on the surface . Leon also noticed a terrifying change in the goblin's strength and speed. It moved with a ferocity he hadn't witnessed before, its attacks twice as powerful, twice as fast, each blow a testament to its newfound rage.

"Let's see who will last longer, my skill or yours," Leon muttered to himself, his voice a strained whisper. Three minutes ticked by, each one an eternity as he danced around the enraged goblin. Finally, Leon noticed a change. The goblin's crimson aura began to fade, its movements slowing, its rage subsiding. Seizing the opportunity, Leon launched another attack, targeting its ankles. The hardened skin was gone, the goblin's rage-fueled power waning. With relentless strikes, Leon pressed his advantage, forcing the giant creature to stagger. With a final, earth-shattering "bang," the goblin collapsed to the ground, its reign of terror finally over.

Leon, panting heavily, his body ached, his strength depleted. "It's finally over," he whispered, a sigh escaping his lips. A few seconds later, the silver light of his Moonlight Aura faded, leaving him drained but victorious.

The soft silver light, like a glowing little moon, enveloped him, steadily mending his wounds. As the giant goblin's body dissipated, an iron mace materialized in his system space. The additional magic crystals yielded only one, along with ten experience points. Soon, his companions – Stella, Fei, Luna, and the ten Silver Moon Wolves – arrived, Stella and Fei face etched with concern. "Master, are you alright?" Stella and Fei inquired. "I'm fine," Leon assured them, " I'm just exhausted. All I need is a little rest to recover." As he said that,he winced inwardly, the pain in his broken arm a sharp reminder of his ordeal. "Damn this broken arm, it hurts like hell," he thought, forcing a smile at his companions.

Every time Luna witnessed this scene, her eyes widened in bewilderment, unable to comprehend what she was seeing. Her mistress, known for her disdain for men, was always tending to Leon with the worry and devotion of a wife caring for her husband. The sight left Luna speechless, her gaze fixed on the scene in a mixture of astonishment and disbelief.

"As for Leon, he insisted Stella and Fei not call him 'Master,' but they stubbornly maintained the formality in public. In exchange, they said they wanted to reserve the freedom to call him whatever they liked in private. Hearing this, Leon could only agree."

"And when Stella and Fei told Leon that they accepted each other as sisters for his sake, this gesture touched him deeply, a warmth spreading through his chest."

As Leon regained his strength, he and his companions descended to the eleventh floor. A massive door loomed before them. "That must be the boss room," Leon murmured to himself, reaching for the door. To his surprise, it swung open automatically, revealing a vast chamber. Inside, a horde of goblins, numbering in the hundreds, filled the space. One goblin, towering at a staggering four meters, immediately caught Leon's eye. Clad in silver armor, boots, gloves, and helmet, he brandished a silver iron mace. This imposing figure stood at the back of the chamber, in what appeared to be a throne room, though he occupied no throne.

"What kind of goblin is it? Let's call it the Goblin Commander. He's the one commanding this goblin force, and it doesn't seem like he's the Goblin King.

Ten of the giant goblins Leon had previously encountered stood around him. Four figures, radiating an aura of fire , respectively, suggested they were four goblin fire mages. Four goblins wearing skull helmets, likely shamans or priests, stood amongst the ranks. Fifty archers and fifty shield goblins completed the formidable force. What truly shocked Leon, however, was the aura emanating from every single goblin – all of them were First Tier, not a single one was at the same level as him. "Damn, they are all stronger than me!" Leon exclaimed to himself.

His eyes narrowed, his grip tightening on his sword. "This is bad," he thought, a chill running down his spine. "Luckily, I have powerful companions. Otherwise, I'd be a corpse in a few seconds." He glanced behind him, only to find the massive door had vanished. "We have no choice but to fight!" he thought to himself, despite the fear gnawing at him.

Stella and Fei exchanged glances, taking in the sheer scale of the enemy before them. Fei immediately transformed into her beast form, a powerful creature that dwarfed even the largest goblins. "Master, ride me," she said, her voice filled with urgency. Understanding the gravity of the situation, Leon wasted no time in mounting her back.

A flurry of arrows, launched with deadly precision, rained down upon them. But the girls and the ten legendary Silver Moon Wolves, with their superior agility, reacted with lightning speed, dodging the projectiles with effortless grace. Their speed was far beyond that of the lowly goblins.

Fei's pink eyes blazed with power as she commanded ten giant goblins, puppets in her thrall, to charge the mages and priests flanking the Goblin Commander. She could easily control the other elite goblins—mages, priests, and giant goblins—in the chamber, all level 10, first-tier creatures. Of course, except for the shield goblins and goblin archers, who are still 1st Tier level 0. However, the Goblin Commander was a different story. Despite her superior attributes, control was fleeting, lasting mere seconds, making it impractical. She chose instead to command his minions.

The mages, unprepared, fell swiftly before the giant goblins' brutal onslaught. The priests, however, fared better. The Goblin Commander, reacting with surprising speed, intervened, saving three of the four from certain death.

With Stella's command, the ten Silver Moon Wolves, like white shadows, tore through the goblin ranks. Their speed was unmatched, their claws a blur of deadly precision. Each swing sent goblin heads flying, bodies splitting in two, limbs scattering like broken toys. Green blood splattered the ground, painting a gruesome scene. Empowered by their beast transformations, which boosted all their attributes by 25%, the wolves were veritable killing machines.

Every five seconds, the wolves opened their mouths, unleashing condensed ice balls that packed five times the normal damage. The ice slammed into the goblins, freezing them solid and shattering them into icy fragments.

The Goblin Commander, with terrifying strength and speed, dispatched the giant goblins one by one. Even when they unleashed their skills, they were no match for his overwhelming power. Seeing his subordinates fall without resistance, he roared in fury, a sound that reverberated through the chamber.

Sensing the dire situation, the three goblin priests activated their skills. They raised their staffs, and a thick black smoke billowed across the battlefield, engulfing the Silver Moon Wolves. Blinded by the skill, the wolves faltered, their movements hampered. Realizing the danger, they retreated back the way they had come.

Realizing that the enemy was retreating, rage fueled the Goblin Commander, he roared, a crimson mist swirling around him as his strength, speed, and physique surged in his pursuit of the fleeing wolves. Leon, witnessing the Silver Moon Wolves' peril, opened his mouth to speak, but Fei, ever quick-witted, cut him off. "Master, leave this to me." Trusting her implicitly, Leon remained as Fei's body glowed, and a perfect white shadow clone emerged. The clone solidified into human form beside Fei.

Fei used her skill- Perfect Clone (SS Rank): Creates a perfect clone that can be manipulated, sharing the same attributes and skills for 1 hour. Of Course, the clone cannot use the clone skill.

Fei's clone's pink eyes blazed. The three priests were spent, their abilities exhausted. Instead of controlling them, she focused on the remaining scattered goblins—first-tier shield goblins and archers. With a flick of her wrist, she commanded ten to attack their own kind.

The Silver Moon Wolves retreated. In a blur, Fei's clone vanished, reappearing before the Goblin Commander. His giant silver mace whistled toward her head, but Fei's clone met the blow with a swift kick. "Clang!" The impact echoed, a shockwave rippling outward from the collision . The force was immense, visible as a wave of displaced air.

The Goblin Commander's silver mace was flung backwards, his body staggering under the force of Fei's clone kick. The clone wasted no time, launching herself forward with a powerful punch that sent the Goblin Commander reeling. Each time his feet touched the ground, the dungeon floor cracked under the sheer force of her blows, yet somehow he managed to stay upright.

Fei's clone relentlessly pummeled him, a whirlwind of punches and kicks. The Goblin Commander was reduced to a punching bag, unable to mount any defense. It was like watching an adult playfully spar with a massive child—even though he was bigger in size, the disparity in strength between them was utterly obvious.

Thankfully, the Goblin Commander was clad in magical armor from head to toe. The magic equipment absorbed some of Fei's attacks, keeping him from collapsing entirely.

Fei's clone laughter echoed through the dungeon, a wild, manic sound born of pure exhilaration. Despite his full suit of magical armor, the Goblin Commander could take no more. Dizziness washed over him. Even with his skills activated, boosting his strength, speed, and defense, his senses reeled. He felt utterly helpless against the relentless onslaught.

Fei's clone next kick landed squarely on his abdomen. The impact was like a detonation within his body, his internal organs screaming in protest. A wave of agonizing pain ripped through him, leaving his stomach churning. Then, with a sickening thud, he was sent flying, like a broken kite, crashing into the dungeon wall.

The Goblin Commander, his body a testament to the punishment it had endured, struggled to his feet, panting heavily. Even with his armor, a sickly green blood dripped from his mouth, staining his chin. His eyes, bloodshot with rage, locked onto Fei's clone, burning with hatred.

He roared, a guttural sound that echoed through the dungeon. A portal shimmered into existence beside him, spitting out a monstrous creature. It was a hulking, dark-furred ape, at least five meters tall, its massive frame rippling with muscle. The creature roared, a sound that shook the very foundations of the dungeon, as it pounded its chest with massive fists.

The roar spread like a wave across the battlefield, silencing even the most ferocious goblins. The creature charged towards the clone, a whirlwind of fury and untamed power, its eyes burning with a primal hunger to tear Fei's clone into pieces.
