Supreme Gacha System

Chapter 8: Chapter 8 Level 10

Supreme Gacha System

Chapter 8;Level 10

The morning arrived, but the dungeon air remained heavy with dampness. Leon wakes up to an empty space beside him, the memory of the previous night's events flooding back. He let out a sigh, a weary chuckle escaping his lips.

"So, the aloof and cold beauty Stella is actually bolder and wilder than Fei," he mused, shaking his head.

He rose, tidying himself up before stowing the tent in his system space. After brushing his teeth and washing his face, he called out to the three girls and the ten legendary silver moon wolves. This time, Leon had gone all out, purchasing an array of seafood and sweets. The girls, especially, had devoured their meals, exceeding their previous day's consumption. Sweets, particularly cakes and ice cream, were met with enthusiastic praise. They insisted that Leon include a sweet dessert in every meal from now on.

Even the 10 Silver Moon Wolves had eaten more than before, as for Luna, she was like a bottomless pit. Leon wondered where all the food she ate went, looking at her small stomach, he just sighed and shook his head. What surprised Leon the most was that the Silver Moon Wolves could speak, and among them, there were six women and four men.

It's just that they need to reach the 5th Tier, becoming Conqueror powerhouses, in order to transform into their human forms.

Don't think of them as mere puppies, for despite their obedience, these wolves are the legendary Silver Moon Wolves. Their bloodlines and qualifications are comparable to the legendary dragons.

After finishing their meal, Leon, Stella, Fei, the little girl Luna, and the ten Silver Moon Wolves descended to the sixth floor. As they emerged, they were met with a sight that left them speechless. The dim and desolate atmosphere of the previous floors was gone. Instead, they found themselves in a vibrant forest, teeming with lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and even a sparkling natural stream. The sheer scale of the place was astonishing; Stella, with her keen eye for detail, estimated its width to be at least five kilometers. The forest was bathed in a soft, ethereal glow, emanating from luminous crystals embedded in the ceiling and walls of the dungeon.

As they ventured deeper into the forest, they encountered a new group of goblins. These creatures were noticeably larger than their counterparts on the fifth floor, their movements more fluid, their eyes gleaming with a cunning intelligence. Leon, ever eager to level up, took the lead, engaging the goblins in a fierce battle while his party watched, ready to assist if needed.

Time, as it always does, marched forward. With each encounter, Leon's skill proficiency grew. His basic swordsmanship – slash, hack, stab, block, and deflect – became more precise and powerful. His stamina also improved, allowing him to fight for longer periods without succumbing to fatigue.

Despite his growing proficiency, Leon found that defeating these goblins was far from easy. The shield goblins, now even stronger and more sturdy, stood as formidable obstacles. The goblin archers, with their enhanced agility and accuracy, peppered him with a relentless barrage of arrows. The goblin fire mage, his control over his fireballs noticeably improved, sent fiery projectiles hurtling towards Leon, leaving him drenched in cold sweat from the impact, almost hitting him. Each time he closed in on the shield goblins, they would instinctively gather in a coordinated defense, their ranks reinforced by the relentless archers. The goblin fire mages, their eyes fixed on Leon, waited for the opportune moment to strike..

Leon, battered but not broken, realized a harsh truth: even the weakest races in this world were evolving, growing stronger and more cunning to survive. It wasn't weakness that kept the goblins alive, but an unrelenting will to endure. They were not the weak, but the survivors, the victors in a brutal game of existence.

Despite the increasing difficulty, Leon remained undeterred. His sharp sword, cleaved through the goblins' wooden shields, allowing him to breach their ranks and unleash chaos. His determination fueled him, pushing him forward.

After an arduous hour, Leon faced the last group of goblins. He had already dispatched five groups, each numbering around twenty or fewer. With a final, decisive strike, he killed the last goblin, ending the battle. Stella, ever vigilant, had been by his side, mending his wounds and easing his fatigue.

Leon's progress was hampered by the goblin archers. Some lurked in the bushes, waiting for the perfect moment to ambush him. Leon, however, never underestimated his enemies and remained vigilant, dodging the surprise arrows with ease. Other archers had taken to the trees, forcing Leon to cut down the trees before he could eliminate them.

Two days had passed since Leon and Stella experienced their romantic battle . He had reached level 10, vanquishing the last goblin on the ninth floor. Each day of battle had left him utterly exhausted. While Stella's healing magic could mend his physical wounds and alleviate fatigue, it couldn't touch the mental exhaustion that gnawed at him. He craved rest, but his relentless pursuit of strength left him little time for anything but sleep.

"Each night, he would collapse into bed, seeking solace in the warm embrace of Stella or Fei, a quick kiss and embrace before drifting off to sleep. There was no time for play, no time for anything beyond the grueling battles that consumed his days. Perhaps Stella and Fei had reached a tacit understanding, for one night Fei would emerge from his tent, while the next it would be Stella, each offering a silent comfort in his weary state.

Time passed by, and Leon opened his eyes to see Stella sleeping beside him, her arms wrapped tightly around him. He couldn't help but smile, gazing at her beautiful sleeping face. If he hadn't been so mentally exhausted over the past two days, he would have already started a romantic battle with both Fei and Stella.

"Leon let out a weary sigh. Leveling up was proving to be a challenging task. He needed to accumulate 10 hours of mana absorption from the air to gain a single experience point, while Stella and Fei only needed 2 hours. Magic crystals offered a faster path, but even then, a low-grade magic crystal would grant him one experience point after 10 minutes of absorption, turning it to dust in the process. For Fei and Stella, it only took them 2 minutes to absorb the same crystal.

No wonder, according to the memories I inherited from Albert, the Lionheart Kingdom bestowed the title of Baron upon anyone who reached the 2nd Tier—a Grand Master powerhouse in their realm.

Of course In a world where power is measured by the strength of one's skills, there are worse qualifications than mine. It's easy to overlook those who awaken ordinary qualifications with E-rank abilities. They are often labeled as "laborers," their skills deemed insignificant compared to the dazzling displays of higher-ranked individuals. However, this perception is a grave injustice.

While mages and priests are often associated with E-rank skills, their abilities are not limited to those of the lowest rank.

A mage's magic, even at its most basic level, can still inflict damage equal to their current magic attribute. This means that even a novice mage can still be a force to be reckoned with.

Similarly, priests, even at the E-rank level, can still cast healing magic, buffs, and debuffs. They can heal minor injuries, slow the movement of a target by 10% for 10 seconds (affecting up to 5 people) with their debuffs, and provide the opposite effect with their buffs. They can also enhance or reduce the strength of their targets with their strength buffs and debuffs..

As for the professions like archers, thieves, and warriors, they are even worse. For example, an E-rank archer's ability to increase their accuracy by 20% for 10 seconds can mean the difference between a successful hunt and a missed target. An E-rank thief's speed boost by 20% for 10 seconds and a warrior's strength buff by 20% for 10 seconds.

There is also another problem that lies in the disparity in skill development. While those with common qualifications see a steady increase in their stats and have a greater flexibility in skill development, E-rank skill users face a significant disadvantage. Their skills are limited by the long cooldown (1 hour to reset) and slow progress (only 1 attribute upgraded and 1 allocated point per level up).

For example, an ordinary archer can only add 1 point to their Agility attribute for every level up and 1 allocated point. Mages gain 1 point in Magic Damage, Warriors gain 1 point in Strength, and Priests gain 1 point in Physique, along with 1 allocated point each. Although the Priest may appear weak, don't underestimate their defense and toughness.

Of course , the Priest stands as a unique and versatile class, defying conventional limitations. Unlike other professions bound by specific equipment, Priests possess the remarkable ability to wield any weapon, be it a bow, a sword, or a dagger. This adaptability stems from their inherent blessing, granting them proficiency across various combat styles.

While physical prowess is not a prerequisite for becoming a Priest, it certainly proves advantageous. E-Rank Priests, often drawn from the ranks of warriors, benefit from their Physique further enhanced by the attributes gained with each level. As a Priest progress to Common and higher ranks, their initial specialization begins to shape their path. Whether they choose the precision of an archer, the might of a warrior, or the cunning of a thief, these skills complement their core abilities as Priests. However, their primary focus always remains on mastering the skills that define their class.

The unique aspect of the priest profession lies not only in their healing abilities but also in their capacity to influence even high-tier Awakeners. As long as they possess sufficient mana, priests can effectively target individuals, regardless of their awakening level. This inherent power makes even an E-Rank priest a valuable asset, sought after by numerous forces. Conversely, poorly qualified priests, a F-rank priests, with their limited mana reserves and diminished healing, buff, and debuff effects, are treated poorly.

In the unforgiving realm of the Primordial Heaven Continent, those with ordinary qualifications and E-rank professions are already marginalized. But for those burdened with poor qualifications and the ignominious F-rank, the reality is even harsher.

An F-rank mage, for instance, can only conjure a flame the size of a fingernail, regardless of the element they wield. Similarly, F-rank archers, thieves, warriors, and priests are severely limited in their abilities. Their skills, when activated, provide a meager 5% effectiveness for a mere 5 seconds, with a grueling 1-hour cooldown. Even the F-rank priest's buffs and debuffs are restricted to a single individual, rendering them practically useless in the eyes of those with superior qualifications.

The plight of F-rank individuals is further compounded by their stunted growth. Even as they level up, they receive no additional attributes, only a paltry single allocation point. This makes them a constant target of mockery and disdain, treated no differently than slaves.

Imagine, for someone with common qualifications, accumulating a single experience point requires a grueling 10 hours of mana accumulation. For those with ordinary or, worse yet, poor qualifications, the task becomes even more daunting. It's a grim reality that even a lifetime of dedication and diligence may not be enough to reach level 10 without a stroke of extraordinary luck.

Currently, I was level 10, and I allocated my remaining 4 points to Strength (2 points) and Agility (2 points). To advance to 1st Tier a War Master powerhouse , I needed to max out level 10 and accumulate 1,000 experience points. Additionally, I required 2 1st Tier attributeless magic cores and 10,000 low-grade magic crystals.

Right now, I only have 1,024 low-grade magic crystals, not enough to meet the 10,000 requirement. Also I was still missing the two 1st Tier magic cores. The system informed me that I had a chance to improve my qualifications if I upgraded the system to level 2. But the upgrade cost was astronomical: 1 billion low-grade magic crystals.

"What the heck is this?" I exclaimed, my voice laced with disbelief. "I can't even earn tens of thousands, let alone a billion? Are you kidding me?" Leon sighed helplessly. Forget it! Let's think about it when we have enough magic crystals. Now let me take a look at my personal status .

After a few minutes, Stella stirred awake. Leon smiled at her, his gaze drawn to her beautiful sapphire eyes. "Good morning, my love," he murmured.

"Good morning, my love," she replied, leaning up to kiss him softly on the cheek. Their eyes met, and a shared desire ignited between them. They kissed deeply, their bodies entwined in a passionate embrace.

Time flew by, and soon Leon, Fei, and Stella found themselves walking side by side, Luna and the Silver Moon Wolves leading the way. They had reached the 10th floor, and the verdant forest had given way to a wide, open space.

This was the only path to the next floor. In the edge of the wide space like arena, a towering goblin, around three meters tall, sat leaning against the dungeon walls. It wielded a massive iron mace, its level 10 status clearly visible above its head, and radiated the aura of a peak level 10.
