We made our way back to the castle Emily now walked beside us happy with her new close we drew even more looks now because you could clearly see Emily's wings but she either ignored them or didn't let them bother her as she looked around I was happy she didn't take after me in the social department

I can kill without batting a eye watching someone's life leave there body but if i have too many people look at me my nerves spike let alone try to talk to them even the tournament I was very nervous being the center of attention I had to focus on the people trying to fight me or it would have been to much so I'm glad she is taking more form Elise in that area because she is the opposite of me that's way she makes a perfect wife for me

" welcome back my king and queen lunch will be served soon " a goblin maid said bowing deeply the goblins u rescued all became maids and butlers for the royal family lazza talked them into calling us king and queen Elise's father allows it as long as there are no guests in the palace plus they all swore there loyalty to us

We made our way to the dining room for lunch it went great the queen made Emily something sweet to eat for her first taste of stuff like that Emily was extremely happy with it as she ate on her grandma's lap the king even started to warm up to her a little

Zamel was no were to be seen at this time after lunch we took Emily to the garden to relax and let her see everything it was a nice time relaxing with what is essentially my family it was crazy to think about I had a wife now not only that i have a daughter with her to even if she wasn't naturally born I don't know why I have such a connection to this little girl I just feel in my soul she is our daughter

I couldn't wait for the other's to come back to meet her we walked through the garden as Emily runs around us curious about everything I smiled at this " you feel it to I assume " Elise suddenly asked I didn't look at Elise just nodded my head " do you think we should really be doing this " I shrug at her " I don't know Elise all I know is that a girl appears acting to be our daughter we both don't feel like it's a lie you already saw how she feels about us...so if she wants to be our daughter I say why not in my opinion she is perfect like you my love at the end of the day I don't see a problem with having her as our daughter where would she go anyway if we didn't accept her I say we let the feelings we have become real if that is the path you want"

Elise was quite for a little bit i saw a tear start to fall out of Elise's eye " it is the path I want to take" she said I was a bit surprised by how much this all meant to her I pulled her closer as we watch Emily planting a kiss on her cheek " I guess it means we have officially started our family "

We watched Emily play around in garden until dinner time the little girl never got tired of wondering around the garden or asking about the birds and plants Elise was happy that our daughter enjoyed the garden like her when she was little the animals of the garden even seemed to enjoy Emily's presence they were always around her it was funny to see

'I guess we got ourselves a Disney princess as a daughter' I thought to myself we told Emily it was time to go to dinner she was sad but got happy again when we told her she could come to the garden anytime she wanted as long as one of us was with her

At dinner Emily was eating on Elise's lap this time because she got jealous that Emily started to go over to her mother when we came in which made the queen chuckle seeing her daughter act like this while we were eating zamel busted in " I finally figured out what happened....I think " we all looked over to him as he started explaining " it was all mana I was able to find an ancient record along with so other things that give a bit of a explanation something similar happened then " zamel said in a hurry he took a breath then continued

"it takes two people with a strong connection with mana having strong emotions to cause mana to manifest what ever they wanted at the time even if what is a living thing that's why the storm happened it was mana gathering to create what it is they wanted "he finished saying everyone looked at us I looked away as I continued eating Elise blushed hugging our daughter closer to her

The queen laughed hearing this happy her daughter was able to vent her frustration though it came with something unexpected the king on the other hand just sighed shaking his head " I'm just happy your coming back to yourself " the king eventually said Elise put her head on Emily's " thank you dad I'm happy too"

After all that a maid brought a plate for zamel and we started eating again at some point zamel looked at us " do you two think you can bring her to" Elise and I looked at him seriously " our daughter is not a experiment for you to study zamel" Elise said zamel shook his head " it's not that I just wanted to do a check up on the girl and make sure everything was ok with her.....but if you didn't mind I would like to study her a little

We rolled our eyes at him then looked at each other for a couple seconds then nodded turning back to zamel " fine we will come by with her for a check up but nothing more I just want to make sure she is ok" Elise said zamel nodded happy to hear that

After we were all done eating we followed zamel to his study to get Emily checked up she turned out to be very healthy nothing was wrong with her well if you discounted the lack of a bellybutton everything else was ok and how it was suppose to be we even checked her elements mainly do to zamel insistence but also because we were curious and it was very shocking what it was she had both Elise's elements and my elements which shouldn't be possible we all freaked out about this for a little bit until Emily asked if we could go to bed she was tired after a long day so did

In the middle of the night Elise and I were woken up by a bit of commotion outside the door it was lazza she told us that kal and James are back but James got ambushed on his way to regroup his squad got slaughtered the only reason he escaped is because shadow was with him so he was able to regroup he was still injured though we made our way to zamel's study with a sleeping Emily we didn't want to leave her alone who Elise was holding while her head rested on her shoulders with her eyes closed

We made sure that James was going to be ok he was just as chipper as ever seeing the sleeping Emily ever one was shocked we explained what happened we all laughed a little about it but they were mostly happy that Elise and I are getting back to how we used to be

" do you know who ambushed you" lazza asked him Elise looked over at her" we already know who it was that ambushed him it's the Duke it can't be the slavers or the human king he is the only one that can do stuff like this in the elven kingdom now that the slavers are in chaos " I looked over at her confused " then why don't we just have him arrested or killed " she just shook her head

" it's a bit different with elves then humans the royalty can't just kill off or imprison someone as important as the Duke without evidence that they have done what you say they did if not it could be seen as abuse of power by the people of the kingdom leading to a mass revolution against the royalty it has happened a couple times in elven history and that's why stopping him is hard because he is really good at covering his tracks" Elise said with anger on her face

After a bit of making sure James was going to be ok we all made our way back to bed in the morning the next while we were eating breakfast a guard came in " they are here a few ships have been spotted coming over the horizon towards the landing spot" the guard said
