Chapter 536: 535: Arcane Elemental Runeweaving; Inferno
'That's not all.'
Just as Corey had this thought, Azhrun's expression changed slightly, and he turned his head to his right.
"KIAIAAIAAIAAIAA!"
An extremely strange sound which sounded more like a laugh resounded in the ears of Ryan and the rest.
Before any of them could respond or gaze in the direction of the laugh, they felt a tremble, and to their horror and disbelief, they saw countless abominations of the Water of Purity climb the shell of the crab-like Goliathspawn.
With gazes filled with madness, hunger, and desire, the abominations rushed toward Corey, Ryan, Azhrun, and the rest. They were completely surrounded.
Corey and the rest cursed, and with battle-ready stances and stoic expressions, they faced the abominations.
"What the fuck is happening?! Shouldn't the crab-like Goliathspawn prevent these abominations from climbing its back?! What of the other Goliathspawns?!"
Ryan shouted as the abominations approached them, and in the blink of an eye, the abominations were barely fifty meters from where he stood.
As the abominations got closer to him, he swung his right hand horizontally.
The abominations kept on running toward Ryan, but after taking two steps, every single abomination in front of him split in half, their upper bodies producing loud thuds as they fell to the ground.
To Ryan's left, Azhrun stood with a solemn but calm expression.
He saw how Ryan dealt with the abominations, and he could not help but scoff. He raised his right hand, and then a water sphere the size of a basketball hovered above his hand.
The water sphere rotated at a fairly high speed, and without a change in his expression, he threw the water sphere at the abominations that were approaching him.
The abominations were not able to react, and the water ball slammed into the body of the first abomination which was a humanoid abomination with a swordfish's head and four hands made out of spikes.
The sphere of water went through the abomination's body and the following abomination behind it. This continued for two seconds, and then the waterball stopped midair above the corpse of an abomination.
Despite the deaths the water ball caused to their fellow 'companions', none of the abominations stopped or bothered by the water ball. Instead, their gazes of madness, hunger, and desire were on the group of Outsiders in front of them.
Azhrun saw this, and a cold smile formed on his lips. He scoffed softly while muttering, "Bunch of fools."
He then snapped his fingers.
The instant he snapped his fingers, the water ball exploded, and countless water droplets flew at extremely fast speeds. The water droplets were like a rain of bullets, and in the blink of an eye, every single abomination that was within a hundred-meter radius of the water ball became riddled with countless holes.
Azhrun lowered his hand with a satisfied smile, and then he glanced at Ryan with a glint in his eyes. However, Ryan's attention was not on Azhrun, but on Corey.
Azhrun noticed this, and he could not help but frown.
'Who is that Underworld prisoner? Why has he caught the attention of that sword bastard? He's just a maggot Tier 2, but he came to this place with the sword bastard… At first, I thought he was the sword bastard's slave, but it turns out they have an agreement?'
Azhrun's brows furrowed deeply in contemplation as he shifted his gaze from Ryan to Corey.
'For the sword bastard to have an agreement with the tier 2, then that means it's very important, and it'll benefit the sword bastard a lot… What is it? I want to find out and if possible, take it for myself… just like how I took his girl in the past.'
Azhrun licked his lips with a smirk as he stared at Corey like a piece of treasure.
Corey felt goosebumps all over his body as he saw Azhrun lick his lips at him through the bird's eye view of his Eye of Omniscience.
For a moment, Corey had the urge to give Azhrun a slap or two, but knowing that such a thing was obviously not possible, he focused on the abominations in front of him.
He knew that Azhrun, Ryan, the twins, and even Melissa and Old Man Poison were observing him.
To them, he was a Tier 2, and the horde that had surrounded them were comprised of mostly Tier 4s and Tier 3s.

Although Melissa and Old Man Poison knew that Corey's prowess was much higher than a Tier 2, they too were curious as to how Corey was going to kill the abominations in front of him.
However, both Melissa and Old Man Poison had a feeling that Corey was not going to be able to kill all the abominations because the only Tier 4 they knew Corey had ever faced escaped.
If one Tier 4 was difficult for Corey to kill, then how could Corey kill tens and hundreds of Tier 4s?
'Aren't all of you shameless? You're all watching a Tier 2 face multiple Tier 4s and Tier 3s, and you're not even coming to help? What sort of heartless fellows are all of you?'
Although Corey had this thought, his expression was stoic and calm. Even though everybody was waiting for him to kill the abominations that were less than twenty meters from reaching him, Corey was not bothered or angered by this because this was what he wanted.
Since he had already exposed some of his abilities and his prowess, he needed to set up an explanation for when he would leave the Shattered Dimension.
He raised his right hand, and a calculating glint flashed in his eyes for a fraction of a second before his fingers moved.
His fingers moved in the air at a speed that was neither slow nor fast, and the moment Ryan, Azhrun, Kaelan, and the twins saw what Corey was doing, their eyes could not help but widen in shock and disbelief.
"Runes?!"
"He's a Runemaster?!"
"What the hell?!"
"I thought there was only one Runemaster in the entire Underworld?!"
Ryan, Azhrun, Kaelan, and the twins spoke respectively and simultaneously as they saw Corey weaving runes in the air.
In approximately six seconds, Corey finished weaving the runes, and a runic circle spun slowly in front of him.
Ryan, Azhrun, Kaelan, Melissa, Old Man Poison, and the twins, had shocked expressions when they saw the speed at which Corey used to draw the runic circle, and not only that, they also sensed a familiar aura emanating from the runic circle.
"Mystic Force?!"
They all exclaimed simultaneously.
'Arcane Elemental Runeweaving: Inferno'
The runic circle flared to life, and then a massive wave of flames surged out of the runic circle and flew at the fearless and mad abominations.
In the blink of an eye, the flames engulfed every abomination that was in a seventy-meter radius in front of Corey.
Screams of rage and pain resounded from the flames, and a few seconds later, the flames died down, allowing every single individual to see the charred corpses of the abominations.
