Chapter 131: Chapter 91: No-brainer and Grumpy
Chapter 91: No-brainer and Grumpy
After collecting all the Ōtsutsuki bloodlines, Chu Yang used Flying Thunder God to return to Konoha Village.
While he was away gathering blood, his shadow clones had already set up the laboratory, making it fully operational. Chu Yang organized the blood samples from different clans, starting the extraction of the genetic factors within them.
In addition, when he previously sealed the Tailed Beasts, Chu Yang also managed to collect their chakra—from the One-Tail up to the Nine-Tails.
These chakra samples were also stored in the laboratory.
Once he successfully extracted the Ōtsutsuki bloodline and advanced his Sage Mode to the Six Paths Sage Mode, Chu Yang could then attempt to create a smaller version of the "Ten-Tails" using Yin-Yang Release techniques.
The raw materials? The Tailed Beast chakra he had secretly stored away.
If it worked, the next step would be to revive the Divine Tree and acquire the Divine Tree fruit.
As for how to make the Divine Tree bear fruit again, Chu Yang would have to give it more thought. He didn't want to drain the earth's energy or that of civilians, as he had no desire to make enemies of everyone, particularly Hashirama Senju and Tobirama Senju.
Only once he had a practical and feasible plan would Chu Yang take action.
For now, his focus remained on extracting genetic factors. With the help of his shadow clones, results would come soon.

Marvel Universe
"This is the fourth time I've invited you, Mr. Chu Yang."
"Sorry, I'm still a student."
"And why would working for S.H.I.E.L.D. conflict with being a student?"
"Huh? I thought you were talking about something else..."
Natasha felt she was about to lose her mind—conversations like these had become a daily occurrence.
If it weren't for Nick Fury's insistence on her monitoring both Tony and Chu Yang, she would have left long ago.
The guy across from her seemed immune to any attempts, and none of her efforts had convinced him to join.
Of course, there was still one last resort—but it was not suitable for minors.
Yet Natasha sensed that going down that route might be futile, risking both her pride and yielding nothing. After all, anyone who hangs out with Tony Stark is likely a tough nut to crack!
If Chu Yang knew what Natasha was thinking, he'd surely protest.
"Even if you won't accept the invitation, could you at least lend a hand? You've certainly benefited enough from me these past days!" Natasha gazed at Chu Yang with a resentful look. To an outsider, it might have seemed like he'd done something unspeakable to her.
"Every time, it's you who initiates, then claims I'm taking advantage when you can't win. Do you, by any chance, have some weird habit? Like... enjoying getting beaten up?" Chu Yang rolled his eyes in disbelief.
Ever since he'd given Natasha a thorough beating, she had periodically come to spar with him. When he ignored her, she'd start a fight outright, leaving covered in bruises each time.
Little did Chu Yang know that upon her return, Natasha would endure some sarcastic comments from Nick Fury, which had frustrated her to no end. Left sleepless, she'd come to the conclusion that Chu Yang might be a mutant in disguise, hoping to force him to reveal his abilities and confirm her suspicions. Losing to a mutant would be easier to accept than losing to an ordinary person.
But much to her dismay, Chu Yang didn't need any special abilities to utterly thrash her. So all she'd proven was that she could take a punch; she was no closer to confirming her theory.
Left with no choice, Natasha started devising a plan to lure Chu Yang into challenging situations under the guise of personal requests.
Chu Yang, however, wasn't a fool and ignored her tactics completely.
Instead, he turned his attention to Tony's deteriorating health. Watching the metal toxin slowly invade Tony's body, he saw him buckle under the pressure of death, spiraling into a series of reckless behaviors. Tony threw wild parties at home and even fought with his friend, Colonel Rhodes.
Concerned, Chu Yang chose to stay on the sidelines, knowing that without these struggles, Tony would never become the true Iron Man.
He knew Tony would eventually be fine.
Natasha had already reported Tony's recent behavior to her superiors, and his wild actions had finally caught Nick Fury's attention. Recalling Chu Yang's words about honesty, Fury decided to meet with Tony and be straightforward in their conversation.
During the meeting, Nick Fury brought up Tony's father, Howard Stark, mentioning that Howard had once discovered a new element. However, due to the limitations of that era, he couldn't complete the work. But Tony, living in the modern age, could pick up where Howard left off and finish what his father started.
Back at home, Tony dug out his father's notes and video tapes, watching them in solitude. The recordings revealed not only Howard's visions for the future but also his deep, unspoken love for Tony.
Moved, Tony studied the model of Stark Expo his father had left him, and inspiration struck—he finally understood the structure of the new element.
Ecstatic, Tony rushed to his lab, where he found Chu Yang setting up experimental equipment.
Smiling, Chu Yang remarked, "Judging by your expression, I take it you've found a way to deal with the metal toxin?"
"Oh, damn!" Tony exclaimed, surprised. "How did you know? No, wait, when did you start knowing?"
Chu Yang teased, "When the number of times you said 'xx' became more frequent, as if you were afraid you wouldn't have another chance."
Tony's face flushed red as he yelled in embarrassment, "Shut up!"
"Sure." Chu Yang shrugged. "But before I do, at least tell me what you need me to do."
"Build a circular accelerator..."
The two shared a glance and got to work in the lab.
Before long, a new element was born. Tony eagerly placed it in the reactor at his chest. As a blue glow flickered, the veins bulging under his skin gradually receded.
Feeling rejuvenated, Tony couldn't help but cheer, "Nice work!"
Just then, Agent Phil Coulson entered the lab. He was there to bid farewell.
He had originally been tasked with liaising between Tony and S.H.I.E.L.D.
But now...
Phil Coulson informed Tony he had been reassigned to New Mexico for another mission. Tony expressed his regret, having enjoyed Phil's affable company.
After explaining his reassignment, however, Coulson kept looking at Chu Yang.
"What is it?"
Chu Yang asked, confused.
"Um, Natasha told me that you'd be willing to accompany me to New Mexico."
Phil looked slightly embarrassed.
Chu Yang was about to refuse, but Tony cut in, "Is it dangerous?"
Phil quickly raised his hand, "Not at all. Just a few things that fell from the sky that need checking."
"Like meteors?"
"Yes."
"Well, that doesn't sound dangerous..."
Tony leaned close to Chu Yang, whispering, "Grab some samples for experiments—my new suit needs better materials..."
Chu Yang shot him an annoyed look.
Tony grinned and said, "Since it's not dangerous, why don't you go with him? Think of it as a break. You've been cooped up in the lab too long; it's not good for your health."
"You're absolutely right, Mr. Stark!" Phil Coulson said, smiling.
Chu Yang sighed, finally relenting, figuring he could treat it as a mini-vacation. Otherwise, Natasha would keep pestering him.
The next day, Chu Yang set off with Phil Coulson for New Mexico.
"Just so we're clear—I'm here to sightsee, so don't drag me into any messes of yours."
"Of course not. But, for the sake of friendship, if you're willing to lend a hand if things get tough, I'd appreciate it."
"Why do all you S.H.I.E.L.D. agents sound alike? Same training instructor?"
"If you mean our training consultant, then yes."
"Ugh... I'm just a student—can you stop putting so much pressure on me?"
"A student who can singlehandedly take down senior agents? There's not another like you in all of America!" Phil Coulson shrugged.
Once in New Mexico, Chu Yang and Phil took a Humvee to a desert site. Apparently, something strange had recently fallen there.
Chu Yang knew that what had fallen was Thor's hammer, as well as Thor himself—the strongest yet also most hilarious Avenger. Due to his arrogance, he had endangered his comrades and defied his father, the god-king Odin.
Odin, deeming Thor unworthy to inherit the throne, stripped him of his powers and banished him to Earth. He also cast down Mjolnir, imbuing it with a spell that only the worthy could lift it, granting them Thor's power.
It was classic idealism.
Chu Yang figured he probably wouldn't qualify as "worthy," so he was genuinely treating this trip as a vacation.
When they arrived, he saw a crowd gathered around a crater made by Mjolnir. Locals, initially drawn by the impact site, had spotted the hammer at the bottom.
The first person couldn't lift it, which naturally attracted a second person, a third, a fourth...
Before long, the place was filled with people eager to try the "challenge game."
"Is there a new event here? 'Pull the Hammer'?" Chu Yang quipped to Phil Coulson.
"Unfortunately, this event is about to end." Phil said wearily, dialing to call for crowd control.
In America, there's one big hassle: in public spaces, the authorities don't have the power to evict ordinary citizens. Unless there's a potential danger, officials can only disperse people under the guise of safety precautions.
So, before Phil Coulson or S.H.I.E.L.D. intervened, the local police didn't have the authority to clear the area.
Soon, a group of men in black suits arrived along with a large number of police officers. Amid the continual shouting and protests, they forcibly removed onlookers from the area.
Chu Yang looked at Phil Coulson curiously.
Coulson chuckled, "I told them there was a weapon of mass destruction here..."
Chu Yang: "…"
With the area now empty, Coulson ordered heavy machinery to try to move Thor's hammer.
The result was predictable.
It didn't work at all.
Finally, they even brought in a tank to pull it, but even with the engine smoking, Mjolnir remained firmly at the bottom of the pit.
Seeing no other option, Coulson led Chu Yang down to the bottom of the pit.
"What do you think this is?" Coulson asked, approaching the hammer with curiosity and reaching out to touch it.
"A hammer!" Chu Yang replied honestly.
"Can you be serious?" Coulson sighed. "What kind of hammer can't be moved even by a tank?"
"An alien's hammer," Chu Yang answered earnestly.
"I know you're here on vacation," Coulson said with a forced smile. "But could I ask you, as a personal favor, to use some of that knowledge you picked up from Tony and help me analyze this?"
"I'm not joking!" Chu Yang rolled his eyes. "For something this small to be so heavy that even a tank can't move it, the density must be insane!"
"Do you think you can find materials on Earth that meet those requirements?"
Coulson was taken aback and left speechless.
Chu Yang approached Mjolnir, running his hand over the runes inscribed on its surface. These were Asgardian enchantments.
He was far more intrigued by these runes than by the hammer's material itself.
Coulson then dialed another number—this time, Nick Fury picked up.
"He says it's an alien's hammer…"
"An alien's hammer? That's an interesting answer. He may actually be right."
