Siblings with No Life Get Summoned to Another World as Detectives

Chapter 63: World War lll (FINALE)

A few hours later, Kai arrived at his destination. He stood hidden behind a few cars, and in front of him was a massive complex.

"Let's get started."

Lina — his "girlfriend" — was still lying in bed at the Chinese base. She wanted to throw her arm over Kai, but he wasn't there anymore. Half-asleep, she patted the bed a few times, but still didn't feel him.

She lifted her head. "Kai...?" she asked, then slowly got out of bed and walked toward the bathroom door. She knocked twice. "Kai?" she asked again, but got no answer.

Worry filled her voice. "I'm coming in!" she said, this time louder. She slowly opened the door, but no one was inside.

Suddenly, a thought struck her. "H-he went to finish the mission..." she realized, then rushed to the wardrobe.

She hastily pulled on her uniform, the fabric sliding over her skin. The white blouse strained over her chest as she buttoned it too quickly, leaving the top button undone.

Her skirt clung short, brushing her thighs with every hurried movement. As she bent down to tug on her boots, the soft fabric shifted, revealing just a flash of the lace edge of her underwear.

Her short blue hair framed her flushed cheeks, and for a moment she caught her reflection in the window — ocean-blue eyes shining with determination, lips parted as she panted lightly from the rush.

She darted out of the base, the cool air slapping her bare legs. Goosebumps rose on her skin where the stockings ended, leaving a strip of smooth thigh exposed.

Her motorcycle waited. She swung her leg over the seat in a single practiced motion — but the skirt lifted far too high in the process, giving a glimpse of the pale curve beneath.

The leather was cold under her thighs, making her gasp softly as she leaned forward.

The engine roared, vibrating through the machine and into her body. The hum sent little shivers up her spine, her uniform clinging tighter, every bump and jolt of the machine making her chest bounce with each movement.

Her hair whipped around her face as she sped off, skirt fluttering in the wind, revealing flashes of skin with every gust.

Kai stood before the silhouette of a massive Japanese complex in the middle of the night. His mission was clear: to disable the sinister chips that had been implanted into the minds of countless children.

The nightmare had begun when China ignited World War III, shattering fragile alliances and plunging the world into chaos.

Mei, his sister, had been among the many unfortunate souls taken and transformed into unwilling soldiers. The chip buried deep within her brain turned her into a puppet.

Kai's path had been different. Captured and then absorbed into the Chinese army, assigned the nearly impossible mission of disabling the Japanese chips.

Official orders dictated that he wait, that he and strike at the right moment. But Kai didn't care about orders. He wasn't just fighting for strategy, or for politics — he was fighting for his sister.

And so, against all protocol, he stood here tonight. Alone.

Because he knew about a secret passage through the ventilation system, he could infiltrate the complex unnoticed.

For Mei, he would infiltrate the complex tonight. And if he had to fight the entire Japanese military with his bare hands to free her… then so be it.

Kai removed the vent cover and crawled inside. He followed the tunnels that seemed endless at first glance, until, after about ten minutes, he reached the entrance to the main room.

Through the grates, he could only see a massive glowing machine standing in the center of the room. He didn't want to enter yet, so he decided to wait a few minutes to see if anyone would show up.

Suddenly, he saw a figure moving around, apparently patrolling the area. The figure stood right in front of the machine Kai believed controlled all the chips.

He had to wait until the figure left.

Luckily, Lina knew a few shortcuts, which allowed her to arrive in just an hour. Her motorcycle screeched to a halt, and she leapt off with graceful urgency, skirt fluttering high as she sprinted toward the ventilation entrance.

Her chest rose and fell quickly, blouse clinging tighter to her with every hurried breath.

She dropped to her knees before the vent. The sudden motion tugged her skirt even higher, revealing far more than intended as she leaned forward.

Without hesitation, she began to crawl inside. The tight space forced her to press low, her curves brushing against the narrow walls.

"I hope I'm not too late..." she thought.

From behind, Her skirt had hiked up completely as she crawled, leaving her panties in plain view. They were light blue, a soft cotton that hugged her curves snugly, with a thin lace trim running along the edges.

The delicate fabric clung to her every motion, stretching lightly as her hips swayed, accentuating the roundness beneath.

Kai waited for half an hour until the figure finally moved away. Then, carefully, he removed the vent cover and crawled into the room.

Step by step, he approached the machine, then began pressing buttons, hoping he could destroy the chips with his own knowledge.

But before he could do anything, he felt cold metal press against the back of his head, followed by a voice. "Step away from the computer..."

Kai raised his hands and moved back a few steps.

"Good... Now turn around, slowly..." the voice commanded.

Kai began to turn, slowly, until he finally saw the face of the one cornering him. It was a face he knew all too well. His older sister, Mei.

Her expression was unreadable, but she looked like a completely different person.

"Big sis!" Kai shouted.

"Shut up or I'll shoot..." Mei said calmly, finger ready on the trigger. She didn't even seem to recognize her own brother. She examined him carefully, and then her eyes landed on the stun gun hanging from his belt.

"Put the weapon on the floor..." Mei ordered.

Kai glanced at the stun gun, then back at his sister. He said nothing, only gently and slowly lowered his hand to his belt and pinched the weapon with two fingers.

He bent down slowly, placed the stun gun on the ground, then straightened up again with his hands raised.

"I hope you're okay, Kai..." Lina thought as she crawled through the vents, finally reaching the main room.

She peeked through the opening and saw a Japanese child pointing a gun at Kai. The machine's glow was the only light in the room, illuminating only them.

Lina pulled out her pistol and emerged from the vent. With trembling hands, she pointed it at Mei and fired.

The bullet whizzed right past Mei's ear. "Fuck..." Lina muttered.

In the same instant, Mei turned and aimed her gun at Lina. Without a moment's hesitation, she pulled the trigger and shot Lina right in the forehead.

Terror flooded Lina for a split second before shattering the moment the bullet hit her. She didn't even get a chance to react — she was already dead. The bullet had pierced deep into her brain.

A tear rolled down Kai's cheek, but he couldn't break now, not here. He bent down, grabbed his stun gun from the floor, and aimed it at his sister.

Mei turned, her head fast enough to look at him, but her arm was too slow to raise the gun. She was completely at his mercy.

For Kai, time stopped as he stared at his weapon. He didn't want to pull the trigger and shock his sister, but it felt like the only choice he had left.

His hand trembled, but he took a deep breath and steadied it.

Without further hesitation, he pulled the trigger. Electricity surged through his sister's body, shocking her violently, until she collapsed to the ground with a loud thud.

Kai ran past her and over to Lina. He crouched and lifted her head, but she was already gone. He sighed, then turned toward the machine, throwing one last glance at his sister.

He stood before the machine, preparing to do everything he could to disable the chips, when suddenly, he felt arms wrap around him.

Mei hugged him.

Kai looked at her. "Looks like the electricity fried her chip..." he thought, then heard Mei whisper: "I'm sorry..."

Kai was still sad and a little angry, but his heart softened, even if just a little. He was with his sister again. He turned toward her, his eyes filling with tears. "Big sis!" he cried, his voice trembling.

He hugged her tightly, melting in her arms.

Mei stroked his head gently. "I'm here... my little brother..." she said softly.

After that, Mei managed to shut down the remaining chips. Overwhelmed by Chinese robots, Japan was forced to surrender, becoming one of China's colonies.

However, Kai and Mei went back to living a normal life. They lived in Japan with Chinese privileges.
