The following morning, Yuta awoke to the sounds of birds chirping in the forest and got out of bed, his hair in a mess.
'What a disturbance.' Yuta wished if he could kill all the birds at this moment since they didn't allow him to rest quietly. "I still gotta say my thanks to those motherrfuckers called birds." He muttered to himself and thanked the birds for waking him up early since he's got a lot of training to do today.
Yuta's injuries hurt, while he stood up from the bed. Despite the fact his wounds caused him to grunt terribly, he didn't use that as an excuse to skip today's exercise. His body ached all over, so he went to his bathroom and washed up.
Yuta dressed in his training suit and stood in front of the mirror, gazing at himself with his red dazzling eyes and sharp long canine.
Without performing any exercises like push-ups or sit-ups, he left his room and proceeded to the dining table, where his breakfast was nicely placed on his plate.
'This old man never fail my taste.' He enjoyed his breakfast and was amazed how truly magnificent the old man's cooking was. He made his way back to the woods for today's training.
He saw it as another warm-up to help his body loosen up, so jogging all the way to the top of the trees was not an issue for him. When he arrived at the top of the trees, he noticed the old man seated on the floor, meditating with his legs crossed..
"Hmm, you're late, brat. Run a lap down the woods and sprint back here." The old man ordered.
Yuta wasted no time as he began sprinting down the woods dodging some obstacles he saw on his way. 'That's new.' As he reached the ground, he thought and began to run fast uphill.
"You've become faster." The old man noticed the change in his young student. "But what can you do in a fight with that speed of yours if you can read your opponent's moves while your defense is poor? That's why you need to strategize and analyze your movement." The old man told his young student what he lacked after months of training him.
"Since you've learnt a little about martial arts, then we should move onto perfecting your quirk." The old man noticed Yuta was eager to train using his quirk for a while.
Taking a deep breath, Yuta focused inside himself, feeling his veins pulsing with strength as he covered his right hand with sand armament and ran swiftly in the direction of a neighbouring tree, hitting it with his coated fist, sending it flying backwards.
'Not enough.' With long, hardened sand claws strapped to his hands, he now clad both arms in sand armament and squatted low, keeping his eyes fixed on the other tree he was going to attack. He leaped behind the tree he considered to be a villain and used his right claws to cut the dried tree in half.
"Not bad fusing your quirk with martial arts. You'll have to learn how to fight with your quirk from now on." The old man told him seeing the action he just displayed a minute ago.
Yuta started off with offense since the old man told him so. He remembered how he used to train alone a long time ago, creating small projectiles and firing them. He came up with the idea of creating sand balls as he fired them towards the old man who destroyed all of it like it was nothing.
"Try creating and solidifying smaller objects like a bullet shape." The old man instructed and watched as Yuta formed the objects accordingly like a bullet shape. "Now try solidifying each and every one of them and fire them towards the tree." He stated.
Since he had practiced doing that years ago, Yuta found it easy, but the outcome was subpar and he lacked the strength to make it as strong as solid. Unlike a few years earlier, he was now strong and was able to solidify each bullet, which left a hole in the tree when he shot them..
"Nice." He muttered silently to himself seeing the result he got after years of practicing solo.
"Smaller objects are easier for you to solidify unlike the big ones you did earlier. So I'll have you focus more on smaller objects then you move to the bigger ones when you're able to fire that at will." The old man stated. 'That's fast for the eye to catch up and what he just displayed was enough to kill an ordinary person.' The old man figured that out in an instant.
Yuta pulled both hands forward as he continued to form and fire a bullet shaped sand which he did continuously as he started to build up fatigue.
"That's it, keep it up." The old man encouraged Yuta who was able to fire the objects continuously as he started to breathe heavily as his muscles began to sour. "Don't stop until I say so, brat." The old man exclaimed, which got Yuta to go past his limit.
Yuta began to have trouble keeping it on repeat since he thought his heart would burst at any second. He pushed himself more and farther until, as soon as he produced it, the sand objects began to flare up one after the other..
'I can do this!' He motivated himself as he kept firing the sand bullets which began to flare up before hitting the tree as the old man stood and watched without stopping the young boy.
Yuta eventually collapsed to his knees as his body started to sweat profusely and abruptly passed out.
The old man witnessed Yuta fall to the ground and lay there for thirty minutes. He lifted himself up as soon as he opened his eyes and spotted the old man seated next to him.
"Say, sensei. Do I look pathetic?" He asked.
"Yes you do. You'll stop being pathetic until you get it right." The old man gave Yuta a bottle of water to help keep his body dehydrated before the next round commenced.
Before wrapping up for the day, Yuta drank the bottle of water, and rested for a while before standing, prepared to work on the next component..
Since that was the agreement they made when Isshin brought him over, Yuta was hardly able to stand this time, but he made sure not to show any signs of weakness to his sensei, who wanted him to give it his best.
After being instructed to improve his offence, which he had done in the first round, Yuta complied and went on. He was instructed to make large objects this time, and he began firing them, though they weren't as powerful or quick as the first time.
He continued with the second round but this time, the old was on offense and Yuta was to strike him as he moved so fast, unable for Yuta to aim.
The old man circled Yuta as he moved at top speed which was hard for Yuta to aim since he was tired and weak, unable to keep up with the speed the old man displayed, he decided to keep going as he fired each sand ball to every location around him but still weren't able to hit the old man.
"You've tried your best keeping up with me in that condition of yours." The old man said as he stopped and walked towards Yuta who was unable to even raise his voice as well as to move an inch anymore.
"I-I can still keep up." Yuta forced the words out his mouth but the old man ignored him since he didn't want to ruin the boy's body.
"Go take a rest for now and tomorrow will be a day off for you. Take that as your reward for going past your limit twice for the day." The old man turned to go, but Yuta disregarded him and used all of his remaining strength to make a ball of sand, which he then threw at the old man. He immediately moved aside, and dashed speedingly behind Yuta, striking him hard as he passed out.
"What kind of stubborn brat did I take in again?" The old saw Yuta fall as he carried him behind his back and made his way from the woods to his home. As he carried Yuta back to his room to rest, he washed the filth and sweat from his body and lay him on the bed…
