Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 627: New Identity

Xu Feng remained suspended on the ceiling for another few minutes until the robots all dispersed and went to another floor.

Once the coast was cleared, Xu Feng went back down to the floor and swiftly made his way to the lower floor.

The lower floor had been deemed cleared already. Not to mention, he was using the tablet to determine the people and already picked on a few to take their identity away.

As he arrived at the lower floor, Xu Feng hid in a corner and patiently waited for a Trainee from the Reconnaissance Division.

The Reconnaissance Division was responsible for scouting missions, intelligence gathering, and covert operations. Thus, they were the best division to infiltrate if Xu Feng wanted to get to the bottom of the mysteries surrounding Battleship Lux.

As a few Trainees from other divisions walked by, Xu Feng stayed low until he found his target. This particular Trainee seemed rather timid and on the verge of tears, making him the perfect target.

'I supposed the trial is giving me a break for once.' He thought, clearly joyous to encounter such a timid Trainee.

Nothing was more irritating than interacting with a timid person who does nothing but cry when it comes to danger. What was worse was that they kept complaining about hardship and once given some opportunity or cheat skill, they still behaved the same or became complacent.

Without hesitation, Xu Feng swiftly grabbed the arm of this distracted timid Trainee toward his side. Before they could scream, Xu Feng covered his mouth and injected him with a good dose of the Paralyze Syringe.

The Trainee's eyes widened in shock and horror, clearly not anticipating an attack within the Battleship Lux.

"Go night night, and don't ever think about waking up until I'm done with my business." Xu Feng whispered softly.

Soon after, the Trainee lost his consciousness and went into a deep sleep. The Paralyze Syringe had been modified by him this time, capable of sending a person to a permanent comatose state unless being injected with an antidote.

Of course, their life won't be in danger because of how amazing the interstellar era was with their resources.

From a herb he requested, it apparently had the properties of supplying a person with enough nutrients that lasted for a month.

Once he accomplished his deed, Xu Feng proceeded to investigate the Trainee's identity, as well as his dorm. Thankfully, the tablet that was handed to him by Aera was capable of accessing this data.

The power of an Assistant Coordinator was truly something one must be afraid of.

As Xu Feng carried the unconscious Trainee away, there were some who noticed him along the way.

However, they quickly ignored it once they saw the uniform Xu Feng was wearing.

It was extremely normal for someone from the Medical Division to be assisting an unconscious crewmate, even if they were a Trainee. Not to mention, Xu Feng was slick and avoided all the cameras from being able to capture his face.

Sometime later, Xu Feng returned to the timid Trainee's dorm and placed him down on the bed. He then proceeded to open his closet and change into his clothes.

And for the finale, Xu Feng grinned as he activated the Mirage Pendant, changing his appearance to match the timid Trainee from head to toe.

"Michael no more, but Mike now." Xu Feng mused, finding the name to be quite hilarious. In some cases, Micahel's nickname could be identified as Mike, but it was whatever. Nicknames were preferences of choice from the individual anyway.

As for why he waited till now to undergo an appearance change, it was because the robots' infrared scanners were special.

What they perceived was not the outer appearance of an individual, but rather their biological metric such as DNA or fingerprint, etc. The Mirage Pendant was one of the few items permitted to him, but it didn't mean he was going to breeze through the trial with it.

Had it been that easy, then he wouldn't have undergone so many difficult obstacles.

With the robots' scanning phase over, Xu Feng could now escape the suspicions of being related to Michael now that he assumed the identity of Mike.

The identity of Michael was no longer viable in the trial.

Shortly after disguising himself perfectly as Mike, Xu Feng quickly exited the dorm and rushed to the area where he must report to his new superior or supervisor in this case.

Second Floor, Reconnaissance Division Center

Upon arriving at the center, Xu Feng was instantly noticed by a muscular man.

"Trainee Mike!" The muscular man shouted and glared fiercely at him. "How dare you be late to the meeting? Do you not wish to remain as a Trainee anymore and return back to your poor planet?"

"N-No, Sir Ryan." Xu Feng hurriedly bowed his head and replied nervously.

"I-I was feeling unwell earlier and had someone from the Medical Division attend to me, so I was late." He continued, explaining the circumstances.

However, Ryan was displeased and roared, "Feeling unwell? Then why don't you just go ahead and die to save you and me the trouble!"

"I'm sorry, Sir Ryan." Keeping a 90-degree bow posture, Xu Feng pleaded for forgiveness, garnering quite the laughter from other Trainees.

"Ahahah, Mike really knows how to get unwell!"

"I also want to feel unwell and escape the upcoming mission. Oh wait, I can't because how can we get sick?"

"You have to be Mike to get sick, to begin with. It's really a talent that you are born with!"

As the sound of laughter reverberated throughout the Reconnaissance Division Center, Ryan raised his voice.

"Silence!" Ryan exclaimed coldly and pointed at Xu Feng. "Since you are that unwell, then you are responsible for being the pioneer to investigate further once the battleship lands on Planet Zaun. They said a new environment changes people, so I'm sure you can handle it, right?"

Feigning a timid expression, Xu Feng's fingers fidgeted as he glanced at Ryan.

He swallowed a mouthful of saliva and nodded. "I-It's my honor to be assigned a task."
