Reincarnated As Clara In The Flash

Chapter 5: A Giant Robot Hand and A New Profile

At S.T.A.A.R Labs...

Barry had met another Meta-Human during a university gathering for Staggs. However, the event was abruptly interrupted when six gunmen stormed in.

To stop them, Barry runs and hides to quickly to transform into The Flash. Although he managed to save a man's life, he lost consciousness before he could apprehend the robbers, which left him feeling frustrated.

"Sorry. The abrasions are already healing rapidly." Caitlin said while patching Barry a bit and letting the healing factor do the rest.

"Yeah, I got my ass handed to me." Barry said while letting Catilin patch him up.

"You got blood on my suit." Cisco said while holding a rag with bloodstains on it and looking at Barry.

"I think some of it belongs to him." Barry said, glancing at Cisco with a hint of irritation. "Another not-so-friendly meta-human."

"Actually, it looks like we might have a friendly metahuman this time around," Caitlin said, her tone a mix of hope and curiosity.

"Wait, what do you mean?" Barry asked, confused as he looked at Caitlin for answers, just as Doctor Wells used a tablet to show something on a nearby TV screen.

"Before, we get to the good news. First, we have Danton Black. A Bio-geneticist. Specialized in therapeutic cloning. Growing new organs and replacing old ones." Wells informed the team.

"Stagg stole his research and then fired him." Caitlin informed giving more information on why the metahuman attacked.

"I saw Black create duplicates from his own body." Barry says finally getting the strength to stand back up.

"That's pretty ironic. The guy specialized in cloning. And now he can make Xeroxes of himself." Cisco jokingly said.

"If he was experimenting on himself when he was exposed to the dark matter wave released by the Particle Accelerator explosion..." Wells continued ignoring the joke Cisco made.

"Meet Captain Clone." The team looked at Cisco, confused about why he was giving a metahuman a nickname. "Don't worry, I'll come up with something cooler.

"Barry shook his head and was starting to leave when Caitlin stopped him in his tracks."Where are you going?"

"Joe was right. I'm in way over my head. Yeah, I'm fast, but I am no warrior. Man, I could barely fight one meta-human, let alone six." Barry said having little confidence now in his ability.

"Barry. I understand. Today was a setback. But any grand enterprise has them. And we can never learn to fly without crashing a few times." Dr. Wells said trying to give Barry a little confidence and advice.

"This wasn't a grand enterprise, Dr. Wells. This was a mistake." Barry walks out but Catilin stops him just in time.

"Barry wait! Remember the footprints and the fingerprint on a pill bottle and a video you sent us about a little girl who robbed a drug store." Caitlin said as Barry turned around.

"What about it?" Barry asked.

"We finally found her! I mean, man, it wasn't easy at all. There was basically no info—like a total blank slate out there. But we were able to snag her birth certificate, which was a total win! And get this: she set up a little camp and shelter for the homeless next to the old Ivo Laboratories, you know, the one that's just been left to fall apart. Crazy, right?" Cisco said, looking around at the team who just gave him another look he just nodded and turned back to scrub the blood off his suit.

"Her name is Clara, and interestingly, she has no last name—perhaps her parents decided to keep it that way. We don't have any details about her birthplace or her parents; that information has been redacted from the records and she is here all alone parents nowhere in sight. However, after her recent moves to this area, we've managed to gather some new intel. Those she's sheltered in her camp have given her nicknames such as 'Red Riding Hood' and 'White-Haired Angel.' This is what I've compiled so far, and I must say, it all adds another layer to her mysterious background." Dr. Wells informed reading off the info he had gotten.

"The most likely scenario is that she's an orphan who's been helping people even before the Particle Accelerator Explosion, and she's still out there doing it now," Caitlin said, her brow furrowing with concern. "I feel so guilty that this poor girl is handling everything on her own."

"Yo, guys, you gotta see this!" Cisco called out, sprinting over and quickly putting up the news on the TV screen. "Trust me, it's gonna blow your minds!"

"I'm Bethany Snow, and we're coming to you live from an alleyway in Central City where a situation is unfolding. Police officers are currently attempting to free one of their own, who's trapped inside a mysterious pink shield created by a colossal blue metal arm. Meanwhile, paramedics are rushing to assist several unconscious officers found near the remnants of what looks like destroyed rocket parts. Thankfully, no explosions have been reported. Stay tuned as we continue to bring you the latest updat- What the!"

The giant blue arm moves and then turns off the shield, before it starts cracking like glass before evaporating into blue light as if it had never existed.

"Well, that's new..." Cisco said surprised to see a giant blue arm disappear like glass.

"Could it be from that little girl, Dr Wells?" Caitlin asked as she turned to see Dr. Wells looked shocked but nodded.

"Yes. it has to be from her and it seems something happened there...Barry, I need you to go and find this girl." Dr. Wells informed as Barry shook his head.

"Dr. Wells, I told you this was a bad idea. I really can't—" Barry said, not wanting to get into trouble, but Dr. Wells cut him off with a different angle.

"Barry, this isn't about going in as a meta-human. You're going in as Barry Allen. Caitlin will be there with you to assist." Dr. Wells said, his tone steady. He turned to Caitlin, noting her surprise. "I know this is unexpected, but you're perfectly suited for the task."

"Wait, what? Dr. Wells, what are you talking about?" Caitlin said, confusion creeping into her voice. "Why do I need to go too?"

"This girl is unlike anyone we've encountered before; I can sense it. I believe she will play a crucial role in apprehending other metahumans. However, I'll need the both of you on board for this to succeed." Dr. Wells said, looking intently at them.Barry sighed and nodded as he looked at Caitlin. She met his gaze and also nodded, agreeing to Dr. Wells' plan.

Barry felt hopeful, considering the possibility that this little girl might be a positive addition as a meta-human. He decided to take some time to clear his mind before the events later on.

"This little girl may have brought him here far too soon, and that could completely derail everything I've been working on." Dr. Wells thought as he studied the TV screen intently, recalling the massive hand with unsettling clarity. After all, it belonged to Svarog.

Clara POV

I opened my eyes and gazed at the ceiling of my room... on my bed.Blinking twice, I sat up and looked around, recalling what had happened in the alleyway while I was running away. With a sigh, I took off my blanket and got up from my bed as i then noticed a blue screen appear in front of me.

Main Quest: Help Me, Mr...- Completed

Don't let the cops catch you if you do it's all over.

Rewards: New upgrades are available, new combat designs for [Player], new home in the future, new companions in the future, and new function for the system.

I claimed my rewards from the mission as I'm glad I'm not with those scary people in blue but I can't believe I was still a burden for Mr.Svarog maybe for Pascal also...I had to call for help again. I don't like calling for help it reminds me too much of the hospital.

I then checked my [Status] in the system to see how I was doing, since I knew I had some debuffs after running from the people in blue. I figured the debuffs should have disappeared if I had fallen asleep.

Name: Clara

Age: 10

Parents: ??, ??

Powers: Unknown

Faction: Not Yet Made

Companions: Svarog, Pascal, Automaton

Spider (3), Automaton Grizzly (7)

Mechanical Parts: Kryptonite Mechanical

Parts, Mechanical Parts (400)

Energy: 100/100

Hunger: 40/100

Stamina: 100/100

Debuff(NEW!) None

Skills (NEW!) None

I wasn't imagining things; the system must have added this when I was panicking and breathing faster than normal. What is it called? A panic attack? I'm not sure what that is...I should ask Mr. Svarog about it later.

I was surprised to see that the new features included skills. This means I can level up skills similarly to how I would in Honkai: Star Rail, but instead, they are referred to as traces. However, acquiring these skills won't be easy, as is the case in most games. Just as I was about to exit the system, I heard a notification sound. I clicked the bell icon in the system, which displayed the notifications that were coming through.

Ding!

[Player] Since you have completed the quest [Help me, Mr...] you have unlocked a new skill called [Because We're Family] which is a skill that allows you to summon a companion to your location! Use this skill wisely since it has a cool down.

Ding!

You have now unlocked new companions known as [Nikkes], who resemble humans! Building these companions will be challenging, as they require many Mechanical parts and, importantly, Dark Matter particles and lastly an important item if needed from a different universe. Additionally, each Nikke will possess unique skills that can assist the player and other companions in battle or use while supporting the [Player].

The following Nikkes have been unlocked: Exia and Blanc!

Both of these Nikkes will be very helpful in the future, so choose one to build. To unlock more Nikkes, you will need to complete a Fated Quest. Fated Quests are challenging and will change the fate of certain people due to the [Players] choice.

Reminder Nikkes under the [Pilgrims] option are the rarest to unlock!

Ding!

Lastly, a new feature called [Battle Suits] has been unlocked in the system! The [Player] can now build battle suits that are beneficial in combat without becoming a crutch in the field. This feature also allows for attribute upgrades, and The [Player] may find skills or a Unique skill within the battle suits by luck.

For example, a battle suit called [Void Drifter] is an S-Ranked outfit with an ultimate skill called [Void Impact] that applies time slowly to nearby enemies while forcing them up to the air and then down to the ground upon using this skill.

Every outfit is ranked from E-Rank to Legendary Ranked! The higher the rank the stronger the outfit is and in order to gain outfits the [Player] must spend the item called [Ticket Lottery Battle Suit] the percentages are followed below!

If someone had walked into my room and seen me, they would have noticed me drooling with stars in my eyes. That's how I feel right now due to the rewards of the system. But what worried me was the Fated Quests...Would that mean I could change fate for people but that should be impossible.

"...There's no need to overthink about it for now." I said to myself not wanting to be worried about it.

I then clicked on more information below, which showed me the percentages as well as examples of suits ranging from E-Ranked to Legendary.

E-Ranked: Normal Civilian Clothes, Trash Can, A wooden stick, Ellie's Hoodie, and Backpack (The Last of Us), Rin Tohsaka's School Uniform (Fate Stay Night), Vault Suit 111 (Fallout 4)

D-Ranked: Yor Forger's Assassin Outfit (Spy x Family), Akatsuki Cloak(Naruto), Claire Redfield's Jacket and Jeans (Resident Evil 2 Remake), Katniss Everdeen's Mockingjay Suit (The Hunger Games)

C Ranked: Dante's Red Coat, Rico Rodriguez's Grappling Gear (Just Cause 4), V's Samurai Jacket (Cyberpunk 2077), S.T.A.R.S. Uniform (Resident Evil)

B- Ranked- Red Hood Costume (Batman: Arkham Knight), Geralt's Witcher Armor (The Witcher) Star Lord's Mask and Outfit (MCU), The Anti-Personnel omni-directional mobility gear (Attack on Titan)

A- Ranked- General Zod's Kryptonian Suit (Man of Steel), Spartan Armor (Mjolnir Mark VI) (Halo), The Lion King's Armor (Fate Grand Order), Black Panther's Vibranium Suit (MCU)

S- Ranked- Saber's Full Battle Armor (Fate Stay Night), Kiana Kaslana's Void Drifter Outfit (Honkai Impact 3rd), Naruto's Six Paths Sage Robes (Naruto Shippuden), Herscher of Thunder (Honkai Impact 3rd)

Legendary Rank- Doctor Strange's Cloak of Levitation (MCU), Artorias' Abysswalker Armor (Dark Souls), Master Assassin Ezio Outfit (Legacy Set) (Assassin's Creed Collection), Herscher of Finality (Honkai Impact 3rd), Warframe (Excalibur Umbra) (Warframe)

E- Rank: 50%

D- Rank: 25%

C- Rank: 15%

B- Rank: 7%

A- Rank: 2.5%

S- Rank: 0.9%

Legendary: 0.1%

As I looked at the outfits, I found myself confused by some of them, as I had no idea where they came from. The pull rates are poor for specific reasons; after all, if they are either S-Rank or Legendary, they should be very powerful but also hard to obtain. But surely I can obtain more tickets in a ways maybe Main quests or side Quests...Well that's going to be hard.

I then used the system to check the new companions I had unlocked. Although I had never heard of Nikkes before, they seem pretty awesome, especially if they appear human. However, the system mentioned that building one would be difficult. I would even have to possibly travel to a different world to create a Nikke. The hard part was the system never told me if I could do that...Maybe it's a quest then it will tell me how.

I thought about it for a while, but I realized I needed to check the new companions first. As I navigated through the system, I clicked on the [Companion] option. The screen displayed more options, as I could now scroll down. It seemed that the system had been upgraded, as everything was now clearly labeled.

 Companion Build Mode!

Honkai Star Rail-

Automaton Spider

Automaton Grizzly

Etc,

Nikke Goddess of Victory-

Tetra Line:

Exia

Blanc

I clicked on Exia, and her profile appeared, detailing her identity, skills, and background. She struck me as the type of person who would spend all day in a room playing games. Wait, that sounds a lot like me! But let's set that aside for now and focus on reading her background information.

Next, I clicked on Exia's [Skills], which showed me that she has two unique skills. If I were to build her she would have these skills, in my opinion, they can help a lot in finding medical supplies and even help find more equipment for the camp maybe even upgrading the technology and finding locations that I haven't explored yet!

From what I understand, gaining skills is quite rare, especially compared to obtaining superpowers. Unique skills are even rarer and harder to acquire. However, if a Nikke possesses two unique skills, they are worth investing in for the future. The system also mentioned that my battle suits can have skills, but acquiring those will be challenging and will likely depend on luck...And more Gacha Luck.

I stand corrected; these skills can indeed be used to protect the camp while I go for supplies. I could also apply them to defend the base if it were ever attacked by the people in blue. However, Protocol Noob sounds more interesting. This could be useful when I need to accomplish something important, though I don't think I would be using it for a while.

I clicked on the materials needed to build Exia, but I don't have enough to do so, even if I wanted to. I still need to complete a Fated Quest. It does feel a bit sad that I can't build any Nikkes at the moment.

Exia

Need Materials:7,000

Mechanical Parts- Owned: 400 Mechanical Parts

0/1 Fated Quest

100 Dark Matter Particles- Owned: 0

I sighed, knowing it would be a long time before I could create companions like these. At least I still have Pascal, Mr. Svarog, and the other robots in the camp. They have always kept me company ever since I established this place. The people love it here too, and I could never bring myself to tear it down.

I also wonder about Blanc. I haven't seen her yet, so I'm curious about what she can do! As I leave Exia's build and head to Blanc's, I can't help but be confused by her wearing a bunny outfit. Perhaps it's because rabbits are considered lucky! Mr. Svarog always told me that people buy a rabbit's foot for good luck, so maybe that's why Blanc dresses as a rabbit for the same reason!

I began reading her background and was surprised to discover that she runs a casino and is even a member of 777. She has a sister named Noir, but I haven't unlocked her yet. Maybe one day I can unlock Noir for Blanc, and they could run a casino together in the city! I might need to leave that task to Mr. Svarog and Blanc in the future, though. Shaking my head, I continued reading Blanc's background for myself.

Luck... If anyone were to match Blanc in terms of luck, I could see some very bad outcomes. Hopefully, no one possesses a superpower related to luck. Now, my favorite part is Blanc's unique skills! I pressed the [Skills] button on the system, and it displayed Blanc's unique skills. As I was reading, I realized they are support skills, which makes sense since Blanc relies on luck.

Two of Blanc's unique skills grant good luck to others even changing fate, but I wonder how lucky she is herself. Now that I think about it, I can't fully know the extent of her luck without Noir, as I haven't unlocked her yet. However, Blanc's unique skills are quite helpful for my support.

With [The Luck of A White Rabbit], Blanc is literally a jackpot. She can share her luck with others, enhancing their days to be better than normal. With the Skill called [777 Rabbit's Foot], she can alter probabilities around herself, which helps even in battle. Meanwhile, Exia supports defense in technology at the camp, a crucial role that will be necessary for the future.

"This is hard!" I screamed as I already felt pressure on choosing one of these two Nikkes since both are pretty good. "I have to go with safety...I can't burden Mr. Svarog anymore." I said softly as I already made a mistake getting captured hours ago. I checked the materials needed for Blanc to be built and it was more than Exia's possibility due to Blanc's luck being very good.

Blanc

Need Materials:8,000 Mechanical Parts-

Owned: 400 Mechanical Parts

0/1 Fated Quest

200 Dark Matter Particles- Owned: 0

I exited Blanc's profile and then clicked on Exia's profile. I decided to save for Exia and added her Materials to my system notifications as an important task. This way, I will be reminded when I'm close to obtaining the materials needed for Exia.

At first, I would be happy with the second quest, but people are coming for me! What about the people in the camp? I can't leave them by themselves! What if they can't get medicine, clothing, or defend themselves?

Before I could overthink more a knock was heard at my door.

*Knock knock*

"Clara, there are two new people in the camp. They say they came here based on a recommendation from others in the camp." Mr. Svarog informed me. I considered this information; it could be the people from S.T.A.A.R Labs coming for me, or they could simply be new arrivals.

"I'll be right there, Mr. Svarog! I'll go and greet them, but let's go together!" I yelled back as I got up from my bed and started putting on my boots. Even if I slipped or nearly sprained my foot, I had to keep trying to wear my shoes.

I quickly ran to the door and opened it to find Mr. Svarog waiting for me. I extend my hand to him, and as he grabs it, I walk outside with Mr. Svarog.

With a smile on my face and Mr. Svarog holding my hand, I feel more confident than ever! I hope nothing bad ever happens to Mr. Svarog. Even if something does, I'll rebuild him and create new memories together! But I shouldn't think like that after all Mr. Svarog is strong!
