RAIDS ONLINE: RAGNAROK BEAST

[RAIDS ONLINE @ Location: Area CC+353, Rock Castle]

Going outside of the ruined fallen medieval castle, the Guardian Beast is now on top of what remains of its collapsed walls, waiting for the arrival of what they're expecting.

"Since I can't find anyone who wants to join the Guardian Beast team because of BlueB*'s b*tching reputation, the three of us plus Corgi and Shiba, along with the other members of Orion Guild will continue raiding another Unique Rank C Ragnarok Beast."

Just as SilverPup said, it's not only Corgi and Shiba that the Guardian Beast is waiting for but other RAIDS ONLINE players who are members of the Orion Guild that SilverPup and Luel belong.

"On more insult and will definitely break your neck, PoodlePup."

"Oh my... With that kind of mood swings, are you really sure you're not pregnant yet, BlueB*?"

"WARGHHHH!..."

"Can you two stop fighting already?"

"You're saying that Lucent, but aren't you actually enjoying every chance you got embracing and restraining BlueB* like that?"

"Please shut up, SilverPup."

Since the RAIDS ONLINE server is only active at night and is played in real-time, every raid is also during nighttime as well.

But even though the desolate plains surrounding the ruined medieval castle is under the cover of the night with only the Moon in the night sky as the only source of light, RAIDS ONLINE players can still see like it's as clear as day with the enhanced sight of their Half-Beast avatars.

Right now, at the edge of the horizon, as far as Luel, BlueHeroine, and SilverPup can see, two familiar figures started to appear, which is swiftly coming closer and closer.

...SilverPup-senpai!!...

"Corgi! Shiba!"

"Radiance!"

While SilverPup is shouting Corgi and Shiba's names to call their attention, BlueHeroine activates her Radiance Skill, releasing a blue radiant light around her body to signal Corgi and Shiba of their location.

Luel, on the other hand, just stares blankly in surprise upon seeing what is behind Corgi and Shiba, along with the other players of Orion Guild who are running with them.

"Are you sure about this plan, SilverPup?"

"Are you having cold sweat right now, Lucent?"

Of course, Lucent can't help but feel nervous and terrified. After all, what is behind Corgi and Shiba is a swarm of Ragnarok Beasts ranging from Rank E to Rank C with a total number of more than a hundred.

SilverPup has already discussed their plan with Luel and BlueHeroine.

Corgi and Shiba, together with two dozen RAIDS ONLINE players of Orion Guild, will drag all the Ragnarok Beasts that they can find in Area CC+353 towards the Guardian Beast's location at the Rock Castle.

The swarm of Ragnarok Beasts is made up of Rank E Uniboar, Mutated Rabies, Rank D Hound, Werebear, Werewolf, Rank C Minotaur, Centaur, Minotaur, Oni, and many other Ragnarok Beasts.

The Guardian Beast's next raid is not actually against the swarm of Ragnarok Beasts but, rather, against the Unique Rank C Ragnarok Beast that they are trying to lure out using the swarm of Ragnarok Beasts.

Either way, they still need to fight the swarm. And it's a battle with an odd of 1 to 5, considering the Guardian Beast's limited number of reinforcement against the swarm of more than a hundred Ragnarok Beasts.

However, shredding the number of their opponents in a single attack is something the Guardian Beast is capable of with their current strength.

"Corgi and Shiba's group is almost at the cover spot. So you can start anytime now, BlueB*."

"Aurora's Wings!"

At SilverPup's remark, BlueHeroine activate her Aurora's Wings Skill releasing her elegant blue wings. She then flies towards the night sky at the height where she can completely see the whole swarm of Ragnarok Beasts incoming towards their location.

A few seconds before Corgi and Shiba's group can reach the location of a large fissure on the ground where they can jump down and hide, BlueHeroine made her dive towards her mark.

"Red Sprite!"

The red radiant light that engulfs BlueHeroine's body causes a trail of light at the night sky as she makes a parabolic dive from the night sky towards the ground, straight right through the swarm of Ragnarok Beasts.

BlueHeroine intercepts the incoming swarm of Ragnarok Beasts, flying and maneuvering straight through the swarm so as not to collide with any Ragnarok Beasts.

The red radiant light engulfing BlueHeroine's body disintegrates all the Ragnarok Beasts that she passed by. As she made it through the center of the swarm, BlueHeroine activated another Skill of hers.

"Radiance x Aurora's Light - Halo!"

The halo of vermilion radiant light that expanded just above the ground and swallowed the the entire swarm of Ragnarok Beasts completely disintegrated all the Rank E Ragnarok Beasts, gravely injured all the Rank D Ragnarok Beasts, and caused multiple damage to all the Rank C Ragnarok Beasts. At the same time shredding more than 35 percent of the total number of the swarm.

"What a showoff... She could have easily dived right at the center of the swarm but instead did that impressive maneuver."

"Well, she's an expert when it comes to making a grand entrance."

"The fact that you're saying that with a proud look on your face is kind of creeping me out, Lucent."

"Wait, why?"

Disregarding Luel and SilverPup's commentary, Corgi and Shiba's group managed to evade BlueHeroine's Halo Skill by jumping down and taking cover on the large fissure on the ground.

At the moment that the Halo Skill hit the Rock Castle walls, BlueHeroine deactivated her skill and once again flew towards the night sky to escape being surrounded by less than a hundred Rank D and Rank C Ragnarok Beasts.

"Next is our turn. So why don't you show me the strength of someone who made it past the 50 percent Link Force boundary, Lucent?"

"Then don't fall behind, SilverPup!"

"Hey! That's my line!"

"Fine. Let's go and wrap this up."

...Howl x Orion's Fangs - Full Moon!!...

Luel and SilverPup activate their Full Moon Skill at the same time, engulfing their body in a silver light aura that gives them highly increased strength.

...BOOMMM!!!...

They both made a powerful jump, strong enough to shatter the already collapsed wall from where they made their lift, and landed at the center of the swarm of Ragnarok Beasts, causing a large crater on the ground where they landed.

...Orion's Claws!!...

Luel and SilverPup tear apart all the Ragnarok Beasts that stood in front of them using their silver light aura claws. Even the Rank C Ragnarok Beasts that already received injuries from BlueHeroine's Halo Skill didn't stand a chance against Luel and SilverPup.

"Let's follow Lucent and SilverPup-senpai!"

"Focus on defeating and devouring all the Rank D Ragnarok Beasts!"

...WARGHHHH!!!...

Corgi and Shiba's group join the fight taking down the much larger number of Rank D Ragnarok Beasts while leaving the Rank C ones to Luel and SilverPup.

BlueHeroine, on the other hand, just keeps on hovering mid-air, monitoring the fight while reserving her strength for the Unique Rank C Ragnarok Beast that their group is trying to lure out.

The fight against the swarm of Ragnarok Beasts ended in just half an hour with the overwhelming victory of the Guardian Beast team.

But even though the fight has already ended, everyone in their group remains on alert as they stand in the aftermath of the battlefield with all the lifeless bodies of the Ragnarok Beasts that they have defeated and devoured. Or so they thought.
