RAIDS ONLINE: RAGNAROK BEAST

[RAIDS ONLINE @ Location: Area CC+353, Rock Castle]

Inside the ruins of what looks like a fallen medieval castle, which was built at the top of a hill surrounded by what can be seen now as desolate plains, the Guardian Beast team has met up for a discussion of their next Raid.

"Taking a whole week for a break after our first victory... I didn't think you two are that lazy, Lucent, BlueB*."

SilverPup, who's been sitting on the ruined king's throne, looks down at Luel and BlueHeroine while talking in a displeased tone.

"Didn't you tell her, BlueHeroine?"

"Sorry. I kind of forgot, Lucent."

With everything that happened, starting from Luel collapsing and being hospitalized for three days, Amy set aside everything so she can look after Luel. That includes forgetting to contact SilverPup and telling her why they haven't logged in to RAIDS ONLINE for a week.

SilverPup heard the conversation between Luel and BlueHeroine, who was just standing in front of her. She wanted to know what they were talking about, but there was something else she had noticed.

"What's wrong with you two? Why the awkward vibes?"

Luel and BlueHeroine are talking to each other like how they used to. However, the distance they are standing from each other has definitely grown apart. And SilverPup didn't fail to notice that small detail.

While still sitting on her throne, SilverPup began teasing Luel and BlueHeroine for her entertainment.

"So why don't you tell me what happened between the two of you this past week?"

Even though they know that SilverPup won't stop nagging them for an explanation, Luel and BlueHeroine still refuse to tell her about what happened to Luel and more.

"You don't want to tell me?... That's fine. I just have to guess it myself."

SilverPup took a deep breath before speaking all of her random lewd, naughty, and indecent ideas that might have happened to Luel and BlueHeroine.

"Are you disappointed that Lucent is on the small side or you're having trouble because he's too big, BlueB*? Doesn't he have the stamina for it, or is he always asking for it? Maybe BlueB* is the one with a strong se..."

...Enough with the perverted jokes!!...

"Then tell me what's going on with you two! Don't leave your only daughter hanging on her own!"

...You're not our child!!...

It's not about Luel's incident that BlueHeroine and Luel refuse to tell SilverPup but, rather, what happened on the night that they talk about Amy's nightmare and Luel's nightmare.

Luel suddenly embraces Amy. She tries to push him away, not because Amy dislikes Luel. After all, she has already gotten used to having physical contact with Luel due to all the requests that Ram and Mie are asking for the two of them to make. It was just that Amy was surprised by Luel's sudden approach.

However, before Amy can push Luel away...

"I'm sorry... I promise that I'm going to save you, Amy."

"Luel, are you saying..."

"You were there in my nightmare... And I was the Ragnarok Beast who killed you."

With their conversation, Amy immediately understands what Luel is talking about. Yet she can't still believe herself. After all, her theory about the Player's Nightmare is that players would dream of people connected and important to them in the future.

There are a lot of important things that are running on Amy's mind after hearing about Luel's nightmare. But what Amy is most concerned with is why she was in Luel's nightmare.

Amy believes that one of the two children in her nightmare is possibly her child or grandchild. That makes sense as to why the little girl would be important to Amy. But what about her appearing in Luel's nightmare?

They're part of the same team, and Amy can't deny that she already sees Luel as a close friend.

But thus being a close friend enough for Amy to appear in Luel's nightmare? Perhaps because she is Luel's beloved Idol? If not, then maybe in the future, Luel and Amy will be in a relationship.

As Amy's thoughts drifted in that direction, she remembered that the little girl who looked like her and that she believed to be her child or grandchild in the future also had similarities to Luel.

After all, the little girl has Amy's beautiful face and Luel's fluffy hair.

...Boom!...

That's the imaginary sound of Amy's mind exploding, unable to process all the information that her heart and brain are giving to her at the same time.

With that mystery, Luel and Amy's night ended with them falling asleep on the couch, still embracing each other.

The awkward distance between Luel and Amy wasn't only because of Amy who's keeping the secret of what might be her and Luel's relationship in the future that she believes, but also because of what happened after their night sleeping on the couch together.

Since it was already past midnight when they both fell asleep, Luel and Amy woke up a bit late the next day or, rather, they were woken up by Ram and Mie, who came to play together with their mother.

Ram and Mie saw Luel and Amy sleeping together on the couch, still embracing each other until they woke up.

Since they are pretending to be husband and wife so that Ram and Mie won't hate Amy, there's no problem with Luel and Amy being seen by the twins sleeping together. However, Ram and Mie's next question for Amy is the problem.

"Big Sister, when is your baby coming out?"

"Mhm!... Big Sister's baby!"

Ram and Mie have cornered Amy with another unexpected question even before she and Luel can leave the couch.

"What are you saying, Ram, Mie?"

Amy asks for an explanation of what they're asking, hoping that the two innocent children are not talking about what she is thinking. Yet Ram and Mie's reply came as another surprise not only to Amy but to Luel as well.

"Mom said that if a girl and a boy always sleep together, then a baby will be made."

"Mhm!... Inside the girl's belly!"

...What the heck are you teaching to your children?!!...

Luel and Amy didn't actually scream but just glared at Rammie, who was standing beside them.

Rammie, on the other hand, at least managed to comprehend the meaning behind Luel and Amy's glare and then gave her answer.

"What?... You want me to lie and tell them that babies come from baby corp.?"

...Yes! Tell that to them, even if it's a lie!!...

To make SilverPup stop shouting all her perverted assumptions while still actively live-streaming for the Guardian Beast team, Luel, and BlueHeroine decided to give up and tell her everything that happened in the past week.

SilverPup was surprised that Luel got hospitalized and was in comatose-like sleep for two days because of experiencing the Player's Nightmare.

However, SilverPup doesn't ask any more questions about Luel's nightmare because she doesn't want to talk about something that she won't be able to experience since she can't break through the 50 percent Link Force boundary due to her limit.

That made BlueHeroine feel a kind of relief since they didn't have to tell SilverPup about the fact that she was in Luel's nightmare.

However, SilverPup isn't done teasing Luel and BlueHeroine yet.

"Sheesh!... Just tell them that the baby is coming in more or less nine months."

"That's not the problem, SilverPup."

"That's right! I'm not pregnant yet!"

"HUH?..."

"WHAT?..."

"EHH?..."

It was only a slip of the tongue due to all the talk about having a child and all the thoughts in her mind about their relationship in the future.

But what BlueHeroine blurt out even confused SilverPup, made Luel question what he heard, and made BlueHeroine herself wonder what she said.

"Well, well, well... I guess you and Lucent are still working on it, right BlueB*?"

"Shut up, perverted dog!"
