Primordial God Of Time

The ground quaked beneath its weight.

Several Monarch Realm and God Incarnate Realm cultivators were crushed instantly, their bodies reduced to pulp before they could react.

Screams rang out. The battle descended into chaos.

Along with the descent into chaos everyone released all sorts of attacks.

Raging pillars of fire erupted from the earth. Bolts of lightning streaked across the sky, and torrents of water crashed down, a maelstrom of elemental fury.

A colossal golem stomped through the fray, its fists crushing everything in its path. Spells of every color and element clashed in a dazzling and deadly display, illuminating the faces of those fighting for their lives.

Blades carved arcs of light, leaving behind trails of shimmering energy. The air was thick with the scent of ozone, scorched earth, and blood.

Luka glanced around and, noticing everyone engrossed in a battle, he moved at lightning speed.

A flash of green light marked his movement as he wove through the melee, a ghost in the storm. He dodged a spear of pure light and a wave of corrosive acid with effortless grace.

Kranos also noticed his movement through the corner of his eyes and moved as well without hesitation.

His silver hair shimmered as he slipped away from a confrontation with a powerful cultivator, his movements controlled.

At the same time, he silently calculated in his heart.

The moment Luka took the relic, the God Realm cultivators should attack him. That way, he would not be able to hold on to the relic and Kranos could swoop in and peacefully take the relic.

If the others tried to stop him, he could just pause time, escape the encirclement, and then leave the place with the relic.

Everything proceeded as Kranos had planned in his heart.

Soon Luka swooped in and reached for the relic. Just then, the God Realm cultivators acted and their domains pressed down on Luka.

The world seemed to shudder as their power descended, a suffocating force meant to crush his will.

However, he wasn't affected in the least bit by their domains due to the Heaven and Earth Movement Technique, because of this he quickly escaped from the encirclement.

A ripple of surprise went through the God Realm cultivators as their combined might failed to stop him.

However, one of the God Realm cultivators, who specialized in speed and had the lightning element, quickly moved as well.

Lightning crackled on his body and his figure vanished, creating multiple afterimages.

Immediately he vanished and appeared beside Luka with a spear in his hand, reaching forward for Luka.

Although the technique the young man cultivated was far inferior to Luka's technique, his technique was extremely terrifying due to his advanced comprehension of the technique.

Luka noticed the approaching danger and didn't panic. Instead, he just calmly split into seven different afterimages.

He was unwilling to use the Thousand Clone Heaven and Earth Technique for now.

This was the technique he had used previously to create a clone of himself to battle everyone who had challenged him.

Luka moved and immediately reached the location of Kranos and the others.

He pushed his speed to the absolute limit, the afterimages disappearing behind him as he became a single point of light.

However, just when he thought he was safe, behind him was a rapidly approaching streak of lightning.

This lightning had also split into seven afterimages and destroyed all of Luka's clones in an instant.

Luka's eyes widened slightly.

He stared around for a moment before deciding to rush directly at Kranos.

He wasn't bringing trouble to Kranos but he felt that with Kranos's ability to freeze space, they should be able to get out of the predicament.

The others would take too long to deal with the trouble, and although Aurora could also handle it with her essence of nothingness, she ultimately couldn't freeze everyone and get them out of trouble as easy as Kranos.

Just when he was reaching Kranos's location, a faint voice resonated in his mind. It was Kranos.

"Hand over the relic, that way I will be able to keep it safe and escape using my ability while you use the heaven and earth movement technique."

Hearing Kranos's words, Luka was stunned.

He thought and hesitated for a moment on whether to give Kranos the relic or not.

However, on second thought, there was nothing wrong with giving Kranos the relic, in the end they would still get all the relics so handing one over didn't matter.

But seeing Kranos's kind expression and silver hair which flowed gently in the wind, he felt that Kranos couldn't possibly be a trickster.

Due to all these, he decided to trust Kranos and quickly rushed to his side and handed him the relic.

The lightning was also just a few meters away from him.

At that moment he reached Kranos and reached out his hand with the relic, his speed was too fast so all everyone saw was a blur and he had passed the unsuspecting Kranos.

However, no one knew what had transpired in that instant.

The moment Luka reached Kranos he paused time and calmly collected the relic from Luka.

With that the exchange happened smoothly.

Aurora had also noticed everything that had transpired since she was unaffected by time.

After Kranos did that he just remained like nothing had happened and continued the flow of time.

The lightning clad figure didn't suspect him in the least bit.

He continued chasing after Luka.

Luka moved at breakneck speed and soon increased his speed slightly.

A bang resounded and he rapidly took the time to create his unique space and entered, escaping the pursuit of the young man.

Seeing Luka along with his aura vanish the man cursed and quickly returned to his normal form.

He stared at his surroundings trying to discern where Luka had gone.

Seeing that nothing had happened the man roared loudly.

Lightning emerged from his body and killed the surrounding cultivators.

The arcs slowly retreated into his body.

Everyone in the surroundings also noticed this development and were filled with rage,

After all wasn't it the relic they were after all along?

Wasn't it the reason they were all fighting?

To think someone would swoop in and take the relic like that was something that they couldn't accept!

They were indignant, but they had no choice but to accept the truth of the matter at hand.

Kranos watched everything calmly from the side and smiled faintly.

Aurora who noticed everything felt a slight fear towards Kranos.

She had always known Kranos as calm and collected, him regressing and planning to kill Kathryn made her think of him as someone who was filled with vengeance.

But this minor scene caused her to rethink her judgment of Kranos.

For a moment she felt as though teaming up with Kranos was a wrong decision.

But since they were already in this she could only watch everything play out to the end.

Besides, she too… had a plan of her own!

Everywhere soon quietened and soon the fourth relic appeared.

Using this time Luka dragged Kranos and the others into the small world at the order of Kathryn.

They had to discuss their movement forward.

"Since there are only 2 relics left we will take this time to replenish our mana. Also, Luka… about that soul treasure, actually we need it."

Reaching this point she glanced at Kranos through the corner of her eyes.

Kranos's mind spun with thoughts on how he could make the situation favorable for him.

After multiple thoughts he finally said to Aurora, "Tell her you are with the relic and plan to hand it to your master in place of me."

Using rapid thought this was the best decision he could come to.

Aurora was stunned in her heart, she glanced at Kranos subtly.

Kranos just gave her a slight nod.

Among the group of people Aurora was the only one he could slightly trust after all their plan was to kill Kathryn.

Kevin was Kathryn's brother, someone who he would kill as well so he was ruled out as an option.

Luka was also a choice, but he was an unstable factor.

Kranos hadn't stayed long with Luka so he didn't know his character completely.

Then finally Aurora.

Kranos didn't trust her in the least bit.

However she would betray him, at least not until they had killed off Kathryn.

This was the only reason he trusted her.

Aurora let out a faint sigh then said to them all, "Actually, I collected the treasure from Kranos, we have come to an agreement that I won't bring him to my master as long as I have the soul treasure."

Kranos felt the urge to smack his forehead, he didn't expect Aurora to be such a terrible actor.

At a glance he could tell she was faking the whole thing.

However this was only because he knew the truth, the others didn't seem to realize anything and stared at her in slight surprise.

Kathryn frowned, staring at the two.

'Kranos, how could you have been so stupid to trust someone from the black rain pavilion?'

She was truly annoyed. She couldn't let this happen, after all if the soul treasure was taken away how could she cast the seals into Kranos's soul and make him her puppet?

Kranos just sneered internally hearing Kathryn's words.

'Kathryn, in my previous life I let you have your way, but do you think the same thing will play out in this life?'
