Primordial God Of Time

Chapter 184: Taking The Treasure... Plotting...

Each of the six fist strikes thundered forward, ripping through the air with explosive force.

Like meteors crashing from the heavens, they barreled ahead with devastating momentum, aimed squarely at Luka's remaining afterimages.

The strikes were relentless, a display of pure aggression meant to obliterate all traces of him without hesitation or mercy.

Yet Luka, sensing the incoming barrage, remained composed. He didn't panic.

Instead, his eyes narrowed slightly, and the edges of his lips curled with calm defiance.

The young man who had launched the attack responded instantly, increasing the flow of mana into his strikes in a desperate attempt to overpower Luka.

But in the end, it wasn't enough. His efforts, while impressive, ultimately failed to overwhelm him.

Just as in his previous life, Luka secured the relic without needing anyone's assistance.

While all this was unfolding, Kranos remained still, his aura restrained. He was saving his strength, conserving every drop of energy for the main event. For the moment he would finally kill Kathryn.

Soon, the second relic had been claimed by Kranos and his group.

As the moment settled, a strange, ethereal aura spread outward into the surroundings.

It was light at first, almost imperceptible, but rapidly grew stronger until it enveloped everything nearby.

At its touch, everyone felt a strange sensation—like their spirits were being cleansed, their burdens lifted. A feeling of peace washed over them, pure and overwhelming.

A faint smile formed on the lips of both Kranos and Kathryn almost at the same time.

"Finally," Kranos thought to himself. "The relic. Everything is unfolding exactly like in my previous life."

Kathryn harbored the exact same thought. Both of them were anomalies who had regressed. Yet their regressions had occurred at different times.

Kranos felt elated. This time, he would not allow Kathryn to lay her hands on the relic.

Nor could he permit Luka to obtain it either, because if Kathryn asked him for it directly, things would become far more complicated.

He would have to invent an excuse for not giving it to her, and that would make her suspicious.

"Another relic has appeared," Kathryn said solemnly, her voice as calm and cold as a still lake under moonlight.

She glanced at Kranos and nodded. "It is that treasure. However, this relic is far from ordinary. There will undoubtedly be those who sense its unusual nature and are willing to fight to the death for it."

"A chaotic battle is about to begin."

Luka frowned, arms crossed as he stared at the sky. "Is it really that dangerous? I doubt any treasure could be so important that people would risk their lives for it."

"You, of all people, should understand the value of a divine-level soul treasure," Kathryn replied, casting him a meaningful glance filled with hidden knowledge.

Luka scratched his head awkwardly, unable to counter her logic.

A loud explosion echoed across the realm, drawing everyone's attention. Their eyes turned toward the disturbance, which came from not too far away.

Even though they were within a separate dimensional space, they could still sense the activity in the world outside.

"The battle has started. We must go," Kathryn said firmly.

As she spoke, Luka raised his hand. With a ripple of energy, their surroundings twisted, and their figures reappeared in the real world.

Their sudden appearance drew glances from the others present, some of whom were God Realm cultivators.

"Stay out of this if you don't want to die," warned one of them, his voice sharp and his eyes indifferent. Without another word, he surged forward, vanishing at a speed just barely visible to the naked eye.

Kranos watched him for a moment but quickly turned his attention elsewhere. Aurora stood beside him, as did the others.

The cultivator who had spoken, along with several other God Realm experts scattered across the battlefield, wasted no time. In the blink of an eye, they unleashed their full power.

Kranos calmly analyzed the situation.

In his past life, Ren had trapped them within a powerful domain.

He would not allow that to happen again.

His sharp gaze swept across the battlefield until it locked onto Ren.

He turned to Aurora. "Aurora, I want you to kill that youth with red hair," Kranos said with a faint, confident smile.

He would have liked to eliminate the timid-looking young man standing nearby as well. The boy trembled with fear, a weak presence not worth remembering.

But eliminating him now would alert Kathryn.

Kranos was not prepared to reveal any flaws in his plan. Not yet.

Aurora frowned, her eyes narrowing.

"Why?"

She looked at Kranos carefully. Given that they were only allies for the time being, both seeking to kill Kathryn, Aurora couldn't be certain of his true intentions.

Still, she reasoned silently, "He wouldn't eliminate me. Doing so would remove his only means of killing Kathryn. I don't know what happened between them after I died, but she must have killed him too. That would explain his overwhelming killing intent."

Her heart held a faint suspicion.

Kranos took a breath and said calmly, "You should remember what happened previously, how he trapped us. With your essence of nothingness, you should be able to deal with him swiftly."

Aurora nodded silently, pondering his request for a few seconds. Then she sighed and her figure began to fade.

Up ahead, the soul treasure shimmered behind a translucent barrier, pulsating with raw power.

The battlefield had erupted. Domains collided violently, bringing forth roaring storms, rivers of fire, shattered terrain, and pure chaos.

A young man extended his arm, and a slow-turning tornado began to form from his palm.

He hurled it toward two female cultivators standing a short distance away.

It expanded rapidly, unleashing a flaming world filled with heat and fury.

But the two women stood their ground. They raised their hands in unison, and a towering wall of ice formed instantly.

The flames struck the barrier and hissed violently. In seconds, everything was frozen solid. The battlefield transformed into a world of glistening ice.

Suddenly, a scream rang out.

Ren, who had been lurking on the sidelines, watching the clash and waiting for the right opportunity to strike, was struck by a terrifying sense of danger.

He didn't hesitate. He leapt backward, narrowly dodging the attack.

A slender, pale palm had passed within inches of his face.

Regaining his balance, he turned and stared in disbelief.

Aurora stood before him, giggling softly as she closed the distance.

Ren gritted his teeth and raised his hands, forming a complex series of seals.

He summoned a hastily formed barrier, a technique rooted in ancient array formation.

But it was rushed, unstable.

More importantly, Aurora was wielding the essence of nothingness.

When her hand struck the barrier, it cracked instantly and disintegrated into sparkling dust.

Ren stood stunned but quickly began forming more seals. He dove to the side.

A spear materialized in his grip. He launched it forward, a trail of blazing fire trailing in its wake.

Aurora didn't flinch. She calmly extended her hand and slapped the spear aside.

The flames shattered and scattered into embers. The spear crashed heavily into the ground, sending a gust of wind sweeping outward before embedding itself in the earth.

Aurora vanished again, appearing right in front of the stunned Ren.

He could barely believe what had happened.

"I… you…" he stammered.

But her hand was already on his forehead.

With one fluid motion, she slapped him to death. His skull collapsed under the force, and his body disintegrated slowly into dust under the power of the essence of nothingness.

Kranos nodded silently. Aurora was, without a doubt, the most terrifying fighter he had ever encountered.

She was more dangerous than Luka, Kevin, or even Kathryn.

Yes, Kathryn possessed the Divine Illusion Eyes, but in the end, they were still an external tool.

Aurora's true terror lay in the mastery of her abilities, the ease with which she used them to dominate the battlefield.

Both Kathryn and Kevin were stunned by her swift execution of Ren.

Kathryn especially found it strange. She had met Ren in her past life. He had been a promising genius, a valuable ally.

She was surprised Aurora had gone so far.

Still, she didn't dwell on it.

One genius had died. Another would surely rise.

She didn't know Ren personally, so his death meant little to her.

Aurora, showing no sign of remorse or emotion, calmly returned to Kranos's side.

The other cultivators near her quickly moved aside, wary of approaching her after witnessing her power.

Kranos exhaled quietly. He needed to wait for the perfect moment. When Luka reached for the relic and became surrounded, he would activate his Heaven and Earth Movement Technique and claim the treasure himself.

On the battlefield, another explosion shook the ground.

A cultivator slammed his massive hammer into the earth, causing it to crack and split apart. From the fractured land, a massive creature resembling a bull emerged.

It roared and charged forward, hurling itself into a group of God Realm cultivators.

The ground quaked beneath its weight.

Several Monarch Realm and God Incarnate Realm cultivators were crushed instantly, their bodies reduced to pulp before they could react.

Screams rang out. The battle descended into chaos.
