Pokemon: Reborn Rich Alternate Earth

Chapter 746: Celebi Revealed

July 18.

It was the wedding day of Henry Walker—the eldest son of Champion John Walker, the richest man in Drakoria, and chairman of the Walker Group.

The ceremony was held in Lake City.

On this day, the Gardevoir Hotel in Lake City shut its doors to the public for the occasion.

With his eldest son finally getting married, old man John was overjoyed. He had invited many friends and colleagues—all of whom were prominent figures in Drakoria.

Among the guests were the Type Elites, National-level Gym Leaders, and even top brass from the military.

Many others couldn't attend due to scheduling conflicts.

Even Duke, Drakoria's strongest Champion, made an appearance.

Also present was James Walker, the Fifth Elder of Drakoria's Elder Council. But due to his special identity, he only made a brief appearance before leaving shortly after.

Julian served as part of the groomsmen team.

He had personally assembled the entire groomsmen team, as most of his uncle's friends were already married or didn't quite meet the image standards.

So, Julian invited Pierce, Rowan, Asher, Luis, Dalton, Hugo, and Mason. Counting himself, that made exactly eight.

All eight stood over 180cm tall, dressed in tailored suits, each one handsome and exuding exceptional presence.

When the wedding ended and photos of Henry's groomsmen were revealed, the eight of them were immediately praised by the public as the "Most Handsome Groomsmen Party."

Inside a luxury coach, the group sat together, accompanying the groom, Henry, to fetch the bride.

Pierce, Rowan, and Asher didn't know Luis, Dalton, Hugo, or Mason beforehand, but since they were all young and with Luis's extroverted nature—plus Julian as the mediator—they got along quite well.

When they learned that Mason had already become an Elite, Luis and Dalton were instantly filled with envy. Although they were both at the peak of pseudo-Elite level, they still had a significant way to go before breaking through to the Elite tier.

Mason didn't hide the truth, telling them that it was thanks to Julian's help that he had managed to advance early.

That made the two even more jealous.

They couldn't help but cast resentful looks at Julian. After all, they thought they were closest to Julian—so how did Mason, practically an outsider, ended up reaping the benefit?

Julian could only shrug and say it was just bad luck on their part.

"Don't give me those looks. After the wedding, I'll give you both something," Julian said calmly.

Both came from major families, so breaking through to Elite was only a matter of time for them. However, the sooner they achieved it, the higher their standing would be within their families.

As for Hugo, he was the second from their Special Recruitment Class to become an Elite after Julian. Rumor had it he'd encountered a significant opportunity in a secret realm.

Meanwhile, Pierce and Asher had already reached the early-stage Pseudo-Champion level. And during this time, Pierce had somehow managed to catch a Regice—now, he only had Registeel left to complete the set of legendary titans.

As for Rowan, his strength went without saying. After obtaining the Ultimate ice-type treasure, Ice Core, in the Top-tier secret realm, he had broken through to Pseudo-Champion shortly after leaving the secret realm.

Alice's family, the Yu Clan, was a mid-tier family based locally in Lake City, specializing in fairy-types.

She and Henry had been classmates since childhood—otherwise, they would never have had the chance to meet.

No one in their family could have imagined that their daughter, who had been in a coma for twenty years, would not only wake up but also become the wife of the eldest son of Champion John Walker.

This was a classic case of "one person's success elevating their entire family." With the Walker family's protection, the Yu Clan suddenly became untouchable—treated with courtesy even by other great clans.

Alice's bridesmaid party, aside from Quinn, included Ember, Nicole, and five other heiresses from local Lake City families.

Dressed in bridesmaid attire, they were all radiant and elegant, each with striking features and graceful figures. Fortunately, they knew to tone down their radiance slightly—otherwise, the bride would have been completely overshadowed.

"Listen up, the groom and groomsmen will be here soon. We can't let them take the bride away too easily!" Quinn declared, hands on her hips, radiating an aura that suggested she might just prevent the wedding from happening altogether.

Alice: 'Will I even get married today?'

The groom's procession soon arrived at the Yu family residence.

At the villa entrance, Julian and the groomsmen encountered the first obstacle set up by the bridesmaids.

"Finish all this sashimi, and you'll pass the first challenge," Quinn announced.

The sashimi itself wasn't the issue—the problem was that each piece was heavily coated with wasabi. Even just one piece would be enough to make your head spin.

There were a hundred pieces in total, meaning each of the eight groomsmen would have to eat over a dozen.

"I suggest you just sacrifice one of your members," Ember said, her tone as malicious as ever. She was already trying to divide them from the start.

"Brother Dalton, aren't you a martial artist? You martial types are known for having incredible willpower. Why don't you take this one?" Rowan suggested.

Dalton immediately waved his hands frantically. "Brother Rowan, I don't like raw food. How about Brother Pierce? He's a soldier—his willpower is stronger than us martial artists."

Pierce: "I'm allergic to wasabi."

Julian: 'Great. Every one of my 'top fighters' is more useless than the last.'

"Your Pokémon can also substitute for you," Ember added sweetly.

Groomsmen: 'This woman is pure evil.'

After all, Pokémon had more sensitive taste buds than humans. Making them eat sashimi drenched in this much wasabi? They'd probably start wondering if they needed a new trainer.

Julian's eyes shifted toward a Poké Ball shaking at his waist.

He thought for a moment.

'Fine. With my current strength, even if it gets exposed, it doesn't matter.'

Pop!

The Poké Ball burst open, and out popped a rather chubby Celebi.

Everyone: ⊙o⊙

In the next instant, Celebi swept through the sashimi like a storm, devouring every last piece. With each piece it ate, it clutched its head in discomfort, but its pace never slowed.

When it was finally done, tears were streaming down its face like a waterfall—but its expression clearly said: "Is there more?"

Julian quickly pulled out a fried chicken leg from his pocket and handed it to Celebi. Sure enough, all those days of "feeding an army for a thousand days to use them in one battle" hadn't been in vain.

Watching Celebi chomping greedily on the fried chicken, everyone had the same thought:

'So that's why it's this fat—it literally ate itself into it.'

Quinn and Nicole already knew about Celebi's existence, but even they hadn't expected Julian to reveal it so publicly this time.

Once the drumstick was gone, Celebi finally managed to suppress the wasabi burn.

It then plopped itself on top of Julian's head, looking smug, seemingly noticing the mix of awe and greed in the eyes of those around them. After all, it wasn't just the groomsmen and bridesmaids present—there were others watching too.

Celebi stuck out its tongue and made a silly face at the onlookers.

"Julian, since when do you have a Celebi?" Pierce asked in amazement.

After all, a Celebi was far more precious than his Regirock or Regice. A Pokémon that could travel through time—just that alone made it one of the strongest abilities just below the tier of First-class Legendaries.

"I've had it for a long time," Julian replied casually.
