Pokémon Kyanite and Copper (Revised Version)

Later, at 10:22 a.m., at the Pokémon Center, while waiting for his Riolu to be fully healed, Rico was writing in his journal, as usual, at the waiting area. Jonathan was with him watching his writing. The rest of their Pokémon teams are with them. The atmosphere around them was quiet and calming.

"Wow, Rico," Jonathan gave out a compliment to his younger brother, "I didn't know you had an excellent talent in writing stuff."

"Yeah, I loved doing this since childhood," Rico positively responded back in a steady-straight tone.

"I think you might want to be a writer in the future."

"No, I want to be like dad."

"I see. How are they in all these years?"

"They're fine as usual. Dad seems to be fine at work."

"Oh, okay then."

This follows with a short silence.

Then, a chiming sound came, and Rico stand up and went to Nurse Joy's desk to pick up his Riolu. At the desk, Nurse Joy gave Rico his Riolu and said with a positive mood, "Here's your Riolu, kid."

Picking the Poké Ball up, Rico responded, "Thanks, Nurse Joy."

"You're welcome," Nurse Joy replied back with a bow. "Come again."

With that, Rico went back to Jonathan and their teams, and said to Jonathan, "It's now done, big brother."

"Okay, let's go around town, shall we?" Jonathan asked him in response with a smile.

Rico then nodded to say yes.

And so, they, with their Pokémon, went around town, exploring around and looking at historical buildings like the Libro Mansion, a mansion known for its huge library, and the Labuyo Museum, the town museum. They are having a fun time together as brothers in order to make up for the lost time they had. After those, they checked out the Pokémon gym, which is, again, still closed. Seeing this, they just shrugged off and went off to the town's only shopping mall, Green Leaf Mall.

At that mall, right at noon, they went to a restaurant that serves spicy food like chili macaroni soup and chili salad. For lunch, they go for a big bowl of Yellow Curry with 2 plates of rice and 2 small bowls of chili mushroom soup. For drinks and dessert, they go for a jug of regular water with ice cubes and a big bowl of banana sundae. Jonathan will pay for this big meal. Later, they eat up, with their Pokémon eating their special food in food bowls.

"So, did you take a ferry all the way to Bukas Town?" Jonathan suddenly asked a question.

"Yes, I did," answered Rico back while eating. "It was pretty long, but worth the time."

"I see then. Well, I took a plane from Kamias City to Galen City, and it only costed me 60 Poké Dollars."

"Oh, okay then. So no one knows that you're a missing person?"

"I worn a hood so no one would notice my face."

"Wow, and you had been working at the inn when you arrived here?"

"Yes, but I usually took a side job of being a farmer at the inn's own farm."

"Oh, really?"

"Yes, and I lived at a small apartment nearby."

"I see. Well, I wondered why you won't come home."

"It's because I felt ashamed for disappearing without a word. I'm sorry about that."

"It's alright, big brother, you don't have to apologize again. It's all in the past now."

"Thanks, Rico. But, still, I don't want to come home. So instead, can I be your travel companion?"

Rico then smiled. "Sure, that'll be great."

"Yes!" Jonathan responded back with a burst of enthusiasm. "I'll do everything to make up for the lost time we had!"

After lunch and dessert, they and their teams went back to the inn to rest for a few hours and so Jonathan could continue his work while Rico was resting in his room.
