Pokemon Journeys (My Version)

Chapter 168: Chapter 28: Going Apricorn!

After reaching Azalea Town, home of the Azalea gym, Mew and her friends find themselves having a battle against Team Rocket at the Slowpoke Well. When they meet the man in the Slowpoke costume, they help him out. However, it's revealed that the man is none other than Kurt, the Pokeball expert they've been searching for.

Soon, Mew and her friends at Kurt house with the Pokemon expert himself and his granddaughter, Maisie.

"Thanks a lot, you guys. You really helped us out. We sure are lucky you came along. The whole town owes you for saving the well, but I'm just glad you saved grandpa," Maisie says.

"She's right. I just wish there was some way to show you how grateful we are," Kurt says.

"We're just really glad we could help," Mew says.

Then Kurt says, "Now, then. Didn't you say you had something for me?"

"Actually, yeah. We're here on an errand for Professor Oak," Mew says.

Kurt is surprised, "Really? Professor Oak sent you here himself?"

"Who's Professor Oak, grandpa?" Maisie asks.

Kurt turns to his granddaughter, "Now, Maisie, I'm sure if you think back on all your lessons, you'll remember that Professor Oak is the greatest Pokemon researcher in the world."

"Oh," Maisie says.

Then asks, "But if Professor Oak is so great, what does he need them for?"

"He asked us to come because there's this Pokéball that even Professor Oak can't figure out," Brock says.

Then Misty says, "We really don't know anything about it, but we've been calling it the GS Ball."

"The GS Ball," Kurt replies.

"Yeah. We got it from Valencia Island. The researcher and her assistants called it the GS ball because of its color and the initials written on it," Mew says and brings out the GS Ball, "Here you go."

Kurt takes the GS Ball.

He then gasps in amazement, "Why, this ball is…

"I'm gonna explode if I have to wait another second!" Brock says, eagerly.

Misty feels the same, "You just gotta tell us any and everything you know."

"Come on, the suspense is killing us," Tomo says.

"We're begging you," Mew says.

"Alright, it's clear that the ball is…" Kurt says.

"It's clear that the ball is...?" The group asks eagerly.

"Well, it is a kind of Pokeball that is made of silver and gold. And judging how it feels and weight, we can assume there must be something inside of it. Judging by the material made, someone must have struck genius when creating it. But as for what's inside… it is possible that it's a Pokemon," Kurt says.

"So then, there really is a Pokemon inside?" Mew asks.

"Possibly. I hate to disappoint you, but I don't know what kind could have been stored in there," Kurt says, "Well, once I've looked at it more closely I should be able to say more."

"Don't worry, you guys. If anybody can figure this out, it's my grandpa," Maisie says.

"Thanks a lot for trying to help us out, Kurt," Mew says.

Later, Mew and the others decide to give Professor Oak a call.

Mew says to Professor Oak, "Professor Oak, it's us! Guess what? We're calling you all the way from Kurt's house in Azalea Town."

"Ah, so you finally made it there," Professor Oak says.

Then asks, "Have you had a chance to give Kurt the GS Ball like I asked you to?"

"We gave it to him right away, like you said," Misty says.

"And? What happened?" Professor Oak asks.

"He's never seen anything like it, so he has no idea what it is, either," Brock says.

"Yeah. But Kurt mentioned that the Pokeball is made out of real gold and silver, which could explain the engraved letter on the top half," Tomo says.

"It's made from actual gold and silver? Really?" Professor Oak asks, surprised.

"That's right, and Kurt mentioned that there's a Pokemon inside, like Mewtwo said," Jen says.

"And that means the Pokemon inside must have been trapped in there for who knows how long," Mew says.

"Oh dear," Professor Oak says.

Then Mew says, "He promised us he'd try to figure it out, though."

"In that case, I'd appreciate it if you let me know the minute you learn anything new," Professor Oak says.

"Okay," Brock says.

Soon, Muk enters the scene, giving Professor Oak a hug.

"Hello, Muk. I'll be off the phone in a minute," Professor Oak says.

Muk soon knocks Professor Oak over, showing Tracey feeding two Nidoran.

Then Professor gets up, "Anyway, it's good to know that it's in capable hands, even if Kurt didn't know what it was right away."

"Hey professor, what's so great about this Kurt guy anyway? What's the big deal?" Tomo asks.

"The big deal?" Professor Oak questions.

Then explains, "He's a legend, my boy. Even your own teacher would agree with me. Kurt's an expert craftsman who's skilled in making Pokéballs out of Apricorn."

"What's an Apricorn?" Jen asks.

"You should be able to see some growing right near Kurt's house. Take a look," Professor Oak says.

"Hey, guys. I bet he means that tree out there," Misty says.

Everyone looks out and sees a tree bearing white fruits, Apricorn.

"As you'll see, Pokéballs that are made out of Apricorn have all sorts of special qualities that set them apart from the Pokéballs you're used to using," Professor Oak says.

"Oh," Misty says.

"That's pretty neat," Mew says.

"Yeah. I like to see how he makes it," Tomo says.

"Me too," Jen says.

"I wouldn't mind seeing it for myself, Besides, I'm curious to see how he's doing with the GS Ball," Mew says.

"That's true. Let's all go together," Brock says.

Soon, Mew and the others arrive in Kurt's Workshop, with Pokeballs lining the two shelves on the wall. Kurt works on checking the GS ball.

Maisie sees the group and says, "H guys."

"Hey Maisie, how's your grandfather doing?" Mew asks.

"Doing good. He's trying to concentrate so we shouldn't disturbed him," Maisie says.

The group nod and decide to watch Kurt do his work. The group watches as Kurt hammering the glowing red-hot sphere upon an anvil like a forge.

"It's hard work," Tomo says.

"Wow. That's what I call beautiful workmanship," Brock says.

Tomo says, "There are so many different Pokeballs."

"They look different from the normal Pokeballs we see," Jen says

"Now I see what Professor Oak meant," Misty says.

Once Kurt sees the Pokeball in the making is hot enough, he dips it into a bucket of water nearby after pumping it.

"That water he's dunking it in is from the Slowpoke Well," Maisie says.

"You really count on that well, huh?" Misty says.

"We sure do. And if it wasn't for you guys, it would've been ruined," Maisie says.

Kurt soon places the Pokeball in the making back in the furnace to heat it up again

"I think that should just about do it," Kurt says.

Then realizes the group is behind him, "Hi, everyone. I thought I heard something."

"Hi Kurt, how's researching the GS ball," Mew asks.

Then Kurt says, "You'll have to give me a little more time to give you an answer on that GS Ball. I've fallen a little behind in my work."

"That's okay," Mew says.

Then Kurt says, "By the way, I have a little something for you and your friends."

With that, Kurt brings out five Pokeballs from the shelf and gives them each a Pokeball.

"Here you go," Kurt says.

Mew and the others are surprised to see Kurt giving them Apricorn made Pokeballs.

"You're giving them to us? Are you sure about that?" Brock asks.

"Course I am! Think of it as a thank you for helping me in that well. Help yourself," Kurt says.

"Thank you, Kurt," Mew says, and takes a Pokeball.

The group soon takes one as well.

"So this is what an Apricorn Pokéball looks like," Jen says.

Then Maisie says, "Actually, that one's made of white Apricorn, so it's called a Fast Ball."

"It's a Fast Ball?" Tomo asks.

"That's right. It's meant to be used on Pokemon that can run away quickly," Maisie says.

Then explains, "You see, Apricorns come in seven colors. White, red, blue, black, pink, green, and yellow. There's a different Pokéball made from each different color. And every kind of Pokéball has its own name, its own special colors and its own specific uses."

"I get it. There's more than one kind of Apricorn Pokéball," Tomo says.

"I like to see them," Jen says.

"I like to have an Apricorn Pokeball," Tomo says.

Then Kurt says, "If you really want them, I'd be glad to make some for you."

"You really mean it?" Mew asks.

"Sure, Mew. All I need you and your friends who also want one to do is bring me the Apricorns," Kurt says.

Then Maisie says, "In the backyard, we only grow white Apricorn. All the other kinds grow up in the hills behind the house. I can take you there if you want me to."

"Sounds great," Mew says.

"Sounds like we're going to find some Apricorn," Tomo says.

Meloetta and Skwovet happily nod in reply.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket is spying on them.

"Did you hear that?" James asks.

"I heard every word," Meowth says,

Then Jessie says, "This has Team Rocket written all over it. I think we finally found a way to pay off all our debts."

"If we can get our paws on them Pokéballs, people will pay a pretty penny for em cause them things don't grow on trees, you know," Meowth says.

"Actually Meowth, if you really had been listening to every word you would have heard that sweet little girl say those Pokéballs really do grow on trees," James says.

"Forget it, James. There's money to be made," Jessie says.

Then the two humans lift the fake bush they're hiding and sneak away.

"Tanks for the lift!" Meowth says.

Later, Maisie accompanies Mew and her friends into the hills to go Apricorn picking.

"This one's a pink Apricorn tree," Maisie says.

"Cool," Mew says.

"It's easy to see where it got its name," Misty says.

"These are used to make Love Balls. They work best when you're trying to catch Pokemon of a different gender," Maisie says.

"You mean since I'm a girl, I can use the Love ball to catch a male Pokemon," Jen says.

"And since I'm a boy, I can only catch a female Pokemon with it?" Tomo asks.

"Just like that," Maisie says.

Brock then thinks, "Do you suppose that a Pokéball made from this kind of tree would help me catch Nurse Joy or Officer Jenny?"

Misty grabs Brock by the ear, "She didn't say they were magic."

"Hey Maisie, do you think we can pick one?" Jen asks.

"Sorry Jen, but these apricorns aren't ripe yet," Maisie says.

Then explains, "Never pick an Apricorn before it's ready and never EVER pick too many Apricorns at once! Otherwise, you'll end up damaging the whole entire tree."

"You sure know a lot. Don't you, Maisie?" Misty replies.

Then Brock says, "What did you expect? She is Kurt's granddaughter, after all."

"That's right," Maisie replies.

Soon, Mew and the others arrive at another tree with yellow apricorns.

"See that one? That's a yellow Apricorn. It becomes a Moon Ball. They work on Pokemon that use Moon Stones to evolve," Maisie says.

"You can use it to catch Pokemon like Clefairy or Jigglypuff," Brock says.

"Hey Maisie, can we pick the ones from here?" Tomo asks.

"Actually, it's not safe from this tree," Maisie says.

"Why?" Mew asks.

Maisie points to the tree, "Look there. See anything else in the tree?"

The group looks to see hanging in the apricorn trees are multiple blue-green, pine cone-like insectoid Pokémon with red eyes and no visible limbs. It has a single spike on top of its head, which is supposedly its stem.

"What's that thing?" Misty asks

"It's a Pineco!" Brock says.

"Let's see," Mew says, taking out her Pokedex.

Dexter says, "Pineco, the Bagworm Pokemon. A Bug Type. Appears calm as it hangs sedately from tree branches, but it will self-destruct at the slightest provocation."

"I think it's scary. It looks like a grenade," Misty says.

"That's why it's cool. I want a Pineco," Brock says.

"How are you gonna keep it from self-destructing?" Jen asks

"What breeder could pass up a challenge like that? Sometimes a breeder's road is more like a rocky path, but it's important to meet all challenges head on! Here goes!" Brock says, and rushes to the tree.

Maisie calls out, "Hey! Stay away from there!"

"Ready or not, here I come, Pineco!" Brock says, but soon trips on a rock and ram smack into the tree.

Soon, all the Pineco drop down and self-destruct around him and send him reeling back. The others rush over to check on him.

"Brock!" Misty calls out.

They see that Brock has been burnt

"He met it head on alright," Misty says.

"Are you alright?" Mew asks

"Like I said, it's a rocky path," Brock says

"In his case, that's true in more ways than one," Maisie says.

Soon, everyone heads on and they see a lot more apricorn trees with green ones.

"This grove's full of green Apricorn. These are the kind used to make Friend Balls. Go ahead. These ones are ready, so you can take some if you want," Maisie says.

"Come on guys, let's go," Mew says.

With that, Mew, Tomo, Jen, and their Pokemon walk over to the tree, but a swarm of Beedrill block their way

"Beedrill!" Mew cries out.

And Brock cries out, "Run for it!"

Everyone runs away with the Beedrill on their tail

Maisie cries out, "I'm sorry! There weren't any Beedrill the last time I came here! I promise!"

"Stop! Please, just go away!" Misty cries out.

Soon everyone comes to and falls off the ledge, and escapes the Beedrill.

"Whoa. That was close," Mew says.

"Pika," (Too close.) Pikachu says.

"Eevee," (That was scary.) Eevee says.

After the chase, everyone heads to a different location.

"I'm starting to get tired. I didn't know it would be this hard," Mew says.

The Pokemon agrees.

"Grandpa always says making Pokéballs is lots more complicated than people think it is," Maisie says.

Soon, they spot another apricorn tree, "That tree right there's a red Apricorn. That's what we use to make Level Balls."

"Let's go pick one," Tomo says.

"Yeah!" Jen happily says.

Everyone heads to the tree, but falls into a pit.

"How did this hole get here?" Maisie asks.

Suddenly, they hear Jessie's voice, "You should watch where you're going, it'll prepare you for trouble."

Followed by James, "If you go around not knowing, you'll be making it double."

They look up to see Team Rocket looking down at them from the hole.

"I don't believe it!" Mew says, annoyed.

Everyone but Maisie calls out, "It's Team Rocket!"

And Team Rocket performs the motto.

Jessie:

To protect the world from devastation!

James:

To unite all people within our nation!

Jessie:

To denounce the evils of truth and love!

James:

To extend our reach to the stars above!

Jessie:

Jessie!

James:

James!

Jessie:

Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!

James:

Surrender now, or prepare to fight!

Meowth:

Meowth! That's right!

Soon, Meowht lasso Pikachu and Eevee together and pull them up.

Mew cries out, "Pikachu! Eevee!"

"Gotcha!" Meowth says as he pulls them up.

Then Jessie places them in a glass case.

"Welcome aboard, Pikachu and Eevee," Jessie says.

Pikachu and Eevee try to shock their way out, but to no avail.

"That's better," Jessie says.

Then James comes over with a vacuum cleaner, "Allow me to introduce the state of the art in Apricorn harvesting technology for the budget minded Pokéball enthusiast."

"WHAT?! That's just an old vacuum cleaner." Misty says.

James laughs triumphantly, "Clever, isn't it?"

"After all, if we're trying to clean up, then what better way to do it then with a vacuum?" Jessie says.

Then turns to the others, "Come on! Let's get to work, troops."

"Aye aye, ma'am!" James and Meowth reply.

Then they walk toward the tree.

Maisie cries out, "Don't do it! You're gonna hurt the trees!"

Maisie tries to climb up the hole, but to no avail.

Mew then calls out, "Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, we need your help!"

Soon, Bulbasaur and Ivysaur materialize.

Mew calls out, "Listen, Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, we need you to use your Vine Whip and pull us out of here!"

Bulbasaur and Ivysaur agree and begin to use Vine Whip to pull them up.

"Doin great, guys! Keep up the good work!" Mew says.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket prepares to pick the tree.

"Team Rocket, please stand by. Prepare for Operation: Clean Machine. Power on!" Jessie says.

James starts up the vacuum as the group approaches.

Maisie calls out, "Quit it, right now!"

"Just trying to make an honest buck here!" James says.

And Meowth says, "And get ourselves out of the hole…"

Before Meowth can finish, Team Rocket falls into a pit and loses Pikachu and Eevee. Mew catches the case and frees them.

"Is everything okay, guys?" Mew asks.

"Pika," (Just fine.) Pikachu says.

"Eevee," (We're okay.) Eevee says.

Everyone looks down the hole, but don't see Team Rocket.

"They're gone. Just like that!" Maisie says.

"I wonder who dug this hole," Misty says.

Soon, several Diglett pop up.

"Diglett!" Tomo and Jen say, surprised.

Soon, Brock understands, " I get it! The Diglett must watch over and protect the Apricorn trees!

Maisie continues, "That's cause if the Apricorn trees get hurt, the forest will be ruined. And if the forest gets ruined, the mountains do, too. And if the mountains get ruined, then none of the Pokemon around here will have a place to live."

"That makes sense. The Apricorn trees and the nearby Pokemon rely on each other," Mew says.

Misty looks down at the hole, "I wonder where Team Rocket went."

Meanwhile, underground, Team Rocket slip and slide through the tunnels the Diglett made

Jessie screams, "Somebody do something! Get me out of here, now!"

Soon, Team Rocket exits the tunnels.

"That's better," Jessie says.

"Things are looking up!" James and Meowth say.

However, they soon realize that they're over a huge drop, and fall into the forest.

They scream, "Just don't look down!"

Meanwhile, the group arrives at a grove of blue Apricorn trees.

"You can probably tell by looking that those ones are blue Apricorn," Maisie says.

"Oh, wow! Just look at em!" Mew amazed.

Then Maisie says, "Grandpa uses the Apricorn from these trees to make Lure Balls, which are the best kind for water Pokemon."

"I wish I could have one of those!" Misty says.

Maise points out, "See those ones in the front? Those are all ready to be picked."

"Alright!" Mew says.

Soon, Mew, Misty, Tomo, and Jen rush up and pick some blue Apricorn.

Maisie turns her head and gasps in amazement, "Look at how big that black Apricorn got!"

Everyone turns to see a tree full of black Apricorn.

"What kind of Pokéball do you make with those?" Misty asks.

"They're used to make Heavy Balls, which are really good for catching Pokemon that weigh a lot," Maisie says.

"Let's go check it out," Tomo says.

The group begin to head to the tree, but stop to see Pinco drop down.

Brock rushes over, "Now's my chance!"

He soon tries to make his choice when a giant wind blows one of the Pineco off the tre. Brock soon catches it. The wind picks up and blows more Pinceos off, though Brock catches them. They soon hear Team Rocket's laugh and look up to see Team Rocket with a pedal-powered fan.

"Team Rocket!" Everyone calls out.

Then James announces, "Behold, Team Rocket's new and improved, technologically advanced, economy model Apricorn harvesting machine!"

"Is not! That thing's just some crummy old fan!" Misty says.

Then Jessie says, "If you speak so unkindly about fans, you'll never be as famous as we are!"

"As for this machine, there's an unlimited power supply," James says.

"Heh!" Meowth laughs, "We're just hoping that this scheme will make us so much money, this bike will be the last thing we ever have to pedal!"

Team Rocket soon starts pedaling, starting the fan up. Everyone braces themselves from the wind as Brock continues to rescue the falling Pineco from being blown away. But one Pineco decides to do something about this.

Brock notices, "Hey, you! Come back here!" and Brock manages to stop it.

"Ha! We'll have that tree emptied out any second now!" Jessie says and laughs.

Then James says, "I can't wait till we start collecting those Apricorn!"

"It's gonna be a breeze!" Meowth says.

Team Rocket starts pedaling faster, making the fan blow harder.

Maisie cries out, "Stop it! That's bad for the Apricorn!"

"I'll handle this!" Mew says.

Then calls out, "Quick, Pikachu, get em with your Thunderbolt!"

"Pika!" (Gotcha!) Pikachu says.

"There they go!" Jessie says.

"So predictable!" James says.

Then Meowth says, "You twoips always try the same old thing, so we're ready for ready for it for once!"

Pikachu then uses Thunderbolt to attack, but it's been blocked by an umbrella, and the ban starts blowing harder.

"Our electricity absorber cut energy usage in half and is pretty handy, considering it's our energy we're using," Meowth says.

Team Rocket laughs in triumph.

Mew cries out, "Hold on!"

"Stop it, Mew! It's only hurting us!" Misty says.

Soon, the Pineco Brock is holding back, escapes from him and heads upward towards Team Rocket, and knocks them down, shutting the fan off. Team Rocket are not happy

Jessie angrily says, "Change of plans! Get that thing!"

"We'll show you what happens to Pineco who hang around where they ain't wanted!" Meowth shouts angrily.

Then Jessie throws her Pokeball as she calls out, "Arbok, go get it, now!"

Arbok is released from the Pokeball.

James does the same, "Victreebel, get that creep!"

Victreebel materializes, but chomps on James head.

James cries out, "Not me! I meant that other creep, Pineco!"

Arbok charges at Pineco, but Pineco dodges and retreats down the hill with Arbok in pursuit. Pineco stops half way down and leaps to avoid Arbok's attack, and continues to head down the hill.

"What's that Pineco doing?" Mew asks.

"Is it trying to self-destruct?" Tomo asks.

"We've gotta figure out a way to stop it!" Misty says.

"It'll hurt itself!" Jen says, worried.

Brock rushes over and calls out, "Pineco, get back here right now!"

Then Maisie says, "Use the Fast Ball! You can catch that Pineco with the Fast Ball!"

Brock then takes out his Fast Ball and throws it at Pineco. It hits Pineco and pulls it into the Pokeball just in time before Arbok could attack, and causes it to fall and smash into Team Rocket's machine. Brock then catches the Fast Ball and holds it as it shakes around violently until it finally stops.

Mew calls out, "You might as well give up, Team Rocket!"

"You twerps are really trying our patience!" James says.

Then Jessie says, "Time to go back to our original plan!"

"It's tired and true," Meowth says, but quickly corrects himself, "I mean, uh, tried and true."

Then Jessie calls out, "Go get em, Arbok!" and Arbok charges.

James does the same, "Show em we mean business this time, Victreebel!" and Victreebel charges.

Pikachu and Eevee leap out of the way as the two Pokemon land in the dirt.

Mew calls out, "Okay, Pikachu, Eevee, use Quick Attack then Tackle!"

Pikachu and Eevee do just that, they dash in as they disappear and reappear. Then the attacks land, sending Arbok and Victreebel flying back into their trainers

Then Mew calls out, "Pikachu, Eevee, use Thunder!"

Pikachu and Eevee use Thunderbolt, causing the machine to overload and explode, sending Team Rocket flying.

All three cry out, "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!"

Soon, Team Rocket is gone.

Mew cheers, "We did it!" even the Pokemon cheer.

"Good job, guys. The Apricorn trees are safe!" Misty says.

Maisie happily says, "Wait till I tell grandpa! Thank you guys!"

Brock looks at his Fast Ball, "It's over now. Pineco, come on out." and lets Pineco come out and into his arms.

Then Brock says, "I know I caught you under strait circumstances, but I think it's safe to say we're gonna be good friends."

Pineco suddenly self-destructs in Brock's arms.

"I guess it wasn't safe to say," Brock replies.

Everyone begins laughing with smiles on their faces. Suddenly, a black Apricorn falls from the tree and lands in front of Mew's feet.

"What was that for?" Mew asks, curious and picks it up.

Maisie quickly says, "Careful! That black Apricorn's valuable!"

"It's the Apricorn's way of thanking you," Misty says.

Mew smiles and turns to the tree and says, "You're welcome."

Later, everyone returns to Kurt's house and gives him the apricorns they picked.

"All you have to do is leave it to me. I promise you that when I get through with them, these will be the finest Pokéballs yet," Kurt says.

"I can't wait to see how they come out," Mew says.

Then Brock asks, "Speaking of Pokéballs, did you happen to find out anything about the GS Ball yet?"

Kurt takes out the GS Ball and says, "It's simple yet complex, classic but bold, advanced while still somehow primitive. In other words…"

"Yeah?" Everyone asks.

And Kurt answers, "I don't have a clue."

Everyone stumbles in disbelief.

"You're kidding, right?" Mew asks

"I have no idea who designed this thing, but it's protected by a very powerful lock. There must be a way to break that lock, but I don't know what it is," Kurt says.

"There's something you don't know, grandpa?" Maisie asks.

"I meant I don't know yet!" Kurt says, "I'm positive I could get to the bottom of this with enough time."

"It's perfectly okay with me," Mew says.

"Just as long as you promise to let Professor Oak know about it whenever you find out anything new," Brock says

"Sure," Kurt says.

"To tell you the truth, it's kind of a relief," Misty says.

"True, but I am curious to know what's inside of it," Mew says.

"Indeed. Whoever created the GS Ball made it so that the Pokemon inside couldn't break free. Whoever created it must have used very strong material to make it possible," Kurt says.

He thinks a bit, "However, it might be possible that… hmmm…"

"What do you mean?" Jen asks.

"Well, there was a legend that took place around forty years ago, that was long before all of you were born," Kurt says.

"What is it, grandpa?" Maisie asks.

"We like to hear it," Tomo says.

"Alright then. I'll tell you the story," Kurt says.

Soon, everyone is sitting in the living room.

"This all took place forty years ago, back when I was around your age. There was a trainer who was once called the Masked Man, who was rumored to be a very strong trainer, but has a strong ambition. His ambition is to capture Legendary Pokemon," Kurt explains.

Everyone is shocked to hear it.

Kurt continues, "Rumor has it, the Masked Man was able to create a very special Pokeball using very special material that can capture a Legendary Pokemon with ease. Legend says that he managed to use the Pokeball to capture a Legendary Pokemon, but while he was out at sea. And it hasn't been seen since."

"So then, you think the GS Ball could be the very same Pokeball?" Misty asks.

"It's possible. I'll have to study it a bit more to make sure," Kurt says.

"So then that means the life that might be in the GS ball is a legendary Pokemon," Brock says.

"Yes. For now, we can't be sure if this GS Ball is the one from the legend. For now, we'll have to research it further to find out," Kurt says.

He then remembers, "That reminds me, I heard that now that the drought's finally over, the Azalea gym has opened up again."

"Sounds good. We can go to the gym while you make the Apricorn Balls and have a closer look at the GS Ball," Mew says.

"Sounds good to me," Tomo says.

Mew then gets up and says, "Wish me luck."

"We'll be back to pick up the Pokeballs," Misty says.

"We'll see you later," Kurt says.

"Bye," Maisie says.

With the GS Ball safely delivered, but the mystery yet to be resolve, Mew and the others make their way to the Azalea gym and Mew's second Johto League gym match.
