After a brief commotion in the waiting room.

“Okay, let’s head over there!”

Along with Tenshi and four other Japanese VTubers, we decided to take a look around the event venue.

“Wow, look over there!”

“Where?”

“Over there! They’re selling manga!”

“Oh…”

As I looked in the direction Tenshi pointed, I saw a clear booth selling fan-made comics.

They’re actually selling comics in a place like this? And there are heaps of people lining up to buy books.

“Wow, that’s fascinating.”

That scene looked incredibly intriguing.

Is it because this is my first time in a place like this? Everything seemed new to my eyes.

They rented out the entire gymnasium just to create a space for the event.

Truly, for a fan of this game, it must be an exhilarating place.

Moreover, I spotted numerous booths selling not only event game goods but also Tenshi’s and her fellow VTubers’ merchandise.

“I want to buy this!”

“Oh, that one? That’s your own merchandise.”

“I’m going to put it in Soo-hyun’s place!”

“Then let’s buy one.”

So, following Tenshi, I bought my own merchandise and moved around enjoying the event, but…

“Wait a minute.”

“Yup?”

As I was heading toward the next booth to buy more goods, I paused and glanced around.

Pretending not to notice, my gaze was definitely drawn in.

Well, it’s definitely a point of interest that five girls are hanging around at an event like this, but… it seems I’m the main cause of the attention.

“I’m going to wander off alone for a bit.”

With that, I explained and sought their understanding.

Even though Tenshi said it was fine, it might be troubling for the others if something specific happened while they were with me, right?

Honestly, with big-name VTubers like them, there’s bound to be some kind of “red pill” hints online, but up-to-date photos are a whole different matter.

“No, your friends can’t speak Korean, so Tenshi should guide you.”

From the perspective of the others, they came to a foreign event, so it makes sense for someone proficient in Korean like Tenshi to assist them.

Tenshi opened her mouth, unable to rebut my comment, but she couldn’t say anything.

“I’ll just take a quick look around by myself.”

Now alone, I began to stroll through the event venue.

Wandering alone turned out to be quite enjoyable.

Even though I’m not precisely familiar with the game hosted here, there’s definitely a charm in observing.

I’ve heard it’s a gacha game focused on female characters… maybe that’s why there were so many captivating sights.

Look over there, a woman in a fox character cosplay is taking photos.

Should I try joining in for a picture?

I cautiously approached the vicinity after scanning the area.

“Excuse me…”

“Yes?”

“Could I possibly take a photo?”

“Oh yes! That’s totally fine.”

“Thank you!”

I made my request, and with the help of a nearby staff member, I got my picture taken.

Thinking back, these things usually get taken by my group, but being alone now is a bit weird.

Still, wandering around without a care gave an undeniable holiday vibe.

It’s nice to have a day with no schedules to just chill like this.

Well, just yesterday I was filming hard, and I have filming again tomorrow, but… can’t today be a day off?

As I thought this, I felt lighter and started enjoying the event by buying things and snapping photos all on my own when suddenly—

“Alright! We’re starting the main event!”

I heard a voice and some cheers from the center of the event hall.

What could be a big deal?

I noticed people gathering around, so I followed them toward the center.

“Are you all enjoying the event?!”

In the center of the venue, a decorated stage was set up with seats arranged in front of it.

When I passed by earlier, the place was empty, but it looks like everything has been set up now.

The seats were already occupied by attendees who had arrived early, so I stood at the back to watch the proceedings.

“Before we start the event, we’d like to thank everyone who came today…”

From what I gathered, it seemed like the host was about to kick off the main event.

Then, I wondered if Tenshi was around here? I discreetly pulled out my phone to message her, and I received a reply that they were there too.

Well, since there are so many people, finding them would be kind of tricky.

Being together in spirit is good enough, so I continued watching the event alone.

“And now! Before we start the show, we have video messages from our collaborators!”

To my surprise, a screenshowing Tenshi appeared on stage.

“Hello, everyone in Korea!”

As Tenshi greeted us fluently in Korean while wearing the VTuber mask, admiration and cheers erupted around me.

Seeing this made me chuckle for some reason.

I wonder if Tenshi is watching this now?

Whoa~ I’d feel embarrassed if I were her.

Thinking she was probably blushing again like earlier, I kept watching the video messages until other VTubers also sent their greetings.

Then came messages from other streamers who collaborated with them for this event, and finally, the main event began.

When the event actually started, I was slightly surprised.

‘A singer is coming out?’

I thought it was just an offline participation event, but a singer and a band came out and began performing.

Since everyone around seemed to be responding, could it be a song from the game?

Moreover, with cameras moving around the stage and the audience area, it seemed like they were broadcasting live.

In addition to that, there were spontaneous offline quiz shows and simple bingo games that required inputting links – even someone like me, who’s not into gaming, was amused by the solid lineup.

Wouldn’t it be fun if the Celestial Realm held events like this too?

If we gathered the fandoms from the first to fourth generation, wouldn’t it be possible to hold an event of this scale?

Thus, at some point, rather than enjoying, I began analyzing how we should organize our own event if we were to do one.

From what I observed, since this was an event, there were many activities involving people gathering offline.

The host was randomly calling people to come on stage even now.

It looked like they were about to play an impromptu game.

Thinking this would also be fun, I briefly texted Tenshi, telling her not to get caught on camera and to be careful.

With other VTubers around, she needed to watch out, right?

“Next up… Oh, that beautiful lady! Could you please come up?!”

While I was texting, the host mentioned something interesting.

Oh, a beautiful lady?

They have someone pretty attending this event?

I lifted my head slightly to look at the stage.

Usually, those called up at these events get shown on camera, so I was just thinking I’d check to see her face when suddenly—

“Yes, yes! That’s you!”

To my astonishment, the screen showed me, wearing a cap and sunglasses.

“Me?”

The words escaped my mouth unexpectedly.

Looking around, everyone was staring at me.

Besides, my group isn’t around me right now, so confidently, I stepped forward.

Well, I’ve seen many that look cool, but nothing I felt like buying.

So mostly, my shopping bags contained Tenshi’s merchandise.

“Are you perhaps here for one of the collaborating VTubers?”

With that question, the host began to scrutinize me curiously.

“Oh no, I really enjoy games!”

“Oh, is that so?”

Since I couldn’t outright admit to not knowing much about games at an event like this… for now, that was my answer.

The host probably caught on a bit, though.

“I took lots of pictures with people in cosplay too.”

“I really liked the girl in fox cosplay.”

“You know the character’s name, right?”

“Ahaha, is it time to pick another person?”

Honestly, if I carried on, I’d just expose my own inadequacies…

So, I subtly changed the subject and slipped away.

How many varieties of variety shows have I filmed, anyway?

Escaping from such situations is no big deal for me.

Anyway…

For now, I stood toward the back of the stage while watching the next person get picked.

Around me were others who had already been chosen, all of whom were glancing my way.

I hadn’t dressed particularly flashy, yet somehow I was drawing attention.

Maybe I should have actually worn a proper mask after all.

“Alright! We’ve picked the last person, and now we’ll be playing a game!”

After selecting the last participant, the real event began.

I still had no precise idea of what we’d be doing.

And then…

My gaze landed on the camera at the front of the stage.

Zing—

It seemed like a camera for live broadcasting, shining brightly.
