My Primordial Demon System

Chapter 73: I'll Kill You

"Do you know where Ella is? She left her phone at home," Silva said.

(Oh, Ella? She went out on a date with Noel,) she said. There was some disappointment in her voice.

"Where did they go? She left her phone behind," Silva said.

(Left her phone? That's unusual. Well, there is a restaurant called Blue Ray Steak House.)

"Thank you very much," he said. When he cut the call, he gripped the phone tight. "Where are you, Ella?" He left the building in a rush and saw Peter standing next to a car.

"When did you get a car?" Silva asked.

"It's one of my dad's," Peter said. "So what's the situation?"

"She left her phone behind and is supposed to be at a steak dinner," he said.

"Ella would never leave her phone; she knows you always check on her," Peter said.

"Yeah," Silva replied as he got into the other side of the car. "Let's head for the dinner. I'll try to get the number of her boyfriend from her phone," he said.

Peter got in and drove off while Silva extracted the number. He found it and called immediately with his own phone.

It rang a few times, but he didn't pick up. Silva didn't relent; he called again, and after a few tries, someone picked up the call.

(Hello? Who is this?)

"I'm looking for Noel," Silva said, going straight to the point and not bothering to introduce himself.

(He isn't here now; he's busy.)

"Put him on the phone."

(Whoever you are, fuck off,) the person snapped and cut the call. Silva gripped his phone tight; he gritted his teeth.

He could tell something was wrong; he didn't like this feeling at all.

He immediately placed a call to Elena.

"I need your help," he started.

(What's it?)

"My sister has gone missing. I need you to help me track a certain number," Silva said.

(I see. Head toward the office; I'll be waiting.)

[..... ]

Drip drop. Drip drop.

The sound of water hitting the cold, hard floor reached Elena's ear. The smell of sewage and blood assaulted her nose.

Her eyes flickered open, yet she couldn't see anything except darkness. Her breath was unsteady and heavy. She hung upside down from the ceiling, chains binding her feet. Her head ached badly; the last thing she remembered was hugging Noel when he came to pick her up.

"Noel, where is he?"

"It seems you have woken up," a voice reached her ear. A light turned on inside the room; it wasn't too bright, but she could still see.

The person had on a mask, but the moment she saw the figure she immediately knew who it was.

"Noel," she muttered.

"Oho? You knew it was me through the mask? You must really love me then," he said. He pulled off the mask and smiled.

"What's happening, Noel? What are you doing?" she asked.

Noel walked a bit closer to her and pushed her; she swung a bit from left to right.

"What's happening here is that I had no choice," he said. "I had to do what I had to do for the sake of the goals of the cult." There was a faint smile on his face.

Ella looked around as she swung. She noticed a circular pattern on the ground, and a lot of bodies, feces, and more.

Her eyes widened when she saw it; she looked at him with fear and panic in her eyes.

"Noel, what are you doing? Please tell me this is some sort of prank," she said, looking at him with eager eyes.

"Well, the prank would be when I said I love you. Honestly, you were something for us to have fun with; I thought it would last longer, but my father told me it was my time to sacrifice," he said.

Her eyes widened when she heard what he said; she felt blades go through her heart. She wasn't dumb; she could tell when something was a joke, and this was no joke.

What hurt her wasn't the fact that she was taken to become a sacrifice, but rather that all they had together had been a lie. She trusted him; she loved him, only for him to do this.

A tear formed on her face. "I need you, brother," she muttered.

"Your brother? Hahaha. Scary dude, but he isn't helping you here, so sorry, Ella, your brother won't be coming to help you.

At first I thought he was suspicious of me, but it turned out he was just protective. Hahaha," he let out another laugh and walked to the door. He opened it and multiple figures cloaked in black walked in, their heads bowed low.

They made a circle around her. The chain suddenly moved over the circle with her there. But even as she moved, her eyes never left Noel.

The tears changed from tears of betrayal to tears of rage; her anger rose, but her heart broke even more. All her life she didn't trust anyone; she isolated herself and stayed alone.

There was only one person in her world, and that was Silva. He was her all, the only person she could really trust.

But Noel came into the picture, and for some reason she fell in love with him, something that hadn't happened before. He had transferred into her school months back, and her feelings for him grew more and more.

"I loved you," she muttered.

"Loved me? No, that wasn't it. It was a spell. I made you love me using a special demonic technique. Hahaha, I never knew it would work so well," he said, his grin getting wider.

At this point, her reality shattered. A final tear dropped from her eye and suddenly a purple pattern spread all over her body, followed by a thunderous blast of energy that slammed into everyone there.

Her eyes glowed purple, and her entire body was surrounded by a purple aura. "I'll kill you," she growled.
