My Primordial Demon System

Chapter 74: Blood-lusted

Everyone in the room was shocked, especially Noel. He knew for a fact that she wasn't awakened, so what was this power that she was suddenly using?

Ella locked her gaze on Noel. She kicked her feet, and the chain shattered like it was made of glass. She dropped from up there to her feet, eyes burning with pure, unfiltered hate.

"Take her down, take her down!" Noel yelled.

One of the cult members got up and attacked with a fireball, but she smacked it away like it was nothing and lunged at him like a rocket. She grabbed the man by the arm and ripped it off in one fluid motion.

"Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" The man screamed in pure pain. She used the arm to beat the man until he was barely moving.

Another rushed from behind with a dagger. She spun around, using the arm and slamming him across the face, shattering his jaw. He spun and slammed into the ground. She stepped on his back, added pressure, and snapped his spine.

She looked up with a blood-lusted rage and saw that Noel had escaped. She growled in anger and rushed for the door, but the cultists rushed at her.

A lady leaped onto her from the side and stabbed a dagger into her shoulder, but Ella grabbed her and threw her so hard she smashed into a wall, cracking her skull.

She pulled out the dagger from her shoulder and used it to stab right into the head of a man that was attacking.

Crackle.

Suddenly a powerful bolt of lightning tore through the air and hit her, sending her back into a wall. Ella shook her head and got back up. She looked forward, and they were rushing at her more.

"Screw you all!" Her voice thundered. She raised her feet and stomped so hard it sent out a shockwave that blasted them away, then she launched like a rocket.

She grabbed one of the men and slammed him into the ground before using his body like some sort of ragdoll, swinging him around, smashing into the cultists and sending them flying.

Crackle.

The lightning awakened and attacked again, but this time she was ready. She lunged forward, leaped into the air, dodged the attack, spun around, and sent a kick right into the chest of the cultist. The man was thrown back so hard he slammed into a wall.

But she wasn't done. As her feet touched the ground, she blasted forward again. She pivoted on one foot, turned around, and kicked right into his chest. Her feet went through like a bullet and crashed through the wall behind as well.

She pulled out her bloodied foot, and the blood evaporated due to the energy coming off her feet. Despite the fact that she had taken down many of them, the cultists still stood there like they would be the ones to make a difference.

Then one rushed forward, his arms turned into metal. He leaped into the air and swung down with a hammer slam. She looked up with a cold gaze and punched up as well.

BooooooM!

The collision created a shockwave that shook the building, the ground beneath her cracked, but the man was thrown back. She grabbed onto his feet before he could go far and slammed him into the ground.

She spun his body, using it to attack another person that was charging at her. She let go of the body to block a stab that was headed for her. She grabbed the arm and twisted it until it ripped.

The cultist was about to yell in pain, but Ella ripped off the arms and shoved the exposed bones right down the throat of the cultist.

She turned to face the rest. There were some reluctant ones among them. But it seemed they couldn't stop fighting—they had to attack her. They rushed regardless of how they felt.

She didn't care, she couldn't care, because what was here now was barely her, but rather a being driven by pure rage. She grabbed them one by one, using their bodies like some sort of toy.

Someone attacked with a flame attack, and she swatted it like it was nothing before running up and kneeing the person right in the throat, shattering his neck and head.

The entire place turned into a bloody mess, and at the center was the kind and caring Ella. Well, that version was gone, because with every kill she made, she fell deeper into the rage as she lost herself.

A few more minutes later, the entire room was littered with mangled corpses. Only one cultist was left, a young boy no more than eighteen. He was shivering while looking at her standing there.

He stepped back until his back pressed against the cold, hard wall. Ella turned to look at him, then she headed his way. Every step made him die inside, he trembled more the closer she got.

He was seeing death right in front of him, and there was nothing he could do. She grabbed him by the neck and lifted him off the ground.

There was a long pause as if she was contemplating whether to kill him or not. He looked at her, some hope forming in his heart.

CRUSH

She shattered his neck, killing him instantly. She allowed the body to fall to the ground and then walked to the door.

She tried to open it, but it was locked from the other side, so she kicked it. The door was blasted off its hinges.

There was a hallway that led to the stairs. She headed that way, her body exuding so much demonic energy it corroded the walls as she passed through.

[....]

Silva and Peter finally got the location of where the Phone was. It was a warehouse at the very edge of town, a place used to store goods when they entered the town through import.

Peter drove there like he was in a Fast and Furious movie. Elena said her people would be coming to help him in case, but he wasn't waiting for them.
