MMORPG: Rebirth of the Legendary TimeKeeper

Chapter 86: UTube Videos

Location: Link's Apartment.

Link, or Gregory Valice, was an independent professional video-editor, and the best friend of Joshua Roosvelt, also known as the streamer Blaze.

While he worked most of the time as a cameraman for Blaze, he also did freelance video editing on his own. It was done partially to earn some extra pocket money and partially to improve his video editing skills. Also, being an avid learner, Gregory knew many video editing software, tricks and methods that allowed him to enhance the videos to a whole new margin.

Gregory did apply for many professional jobs but was often rejected. Not because he lacked skills, but his competitors were often the ones with connections or the ones with loads of money. Thus, Gregory can only get by through his own freelancing and helping out his best friend the rest of the time.

Though tonight was different.

It's finally done.

Tonight he was finally finished with a work that he had poured at least a dozen times more effort than he had done in any of the work before. This work was exactly that important and cannot be spared even a single mistake.

This is it! Finally… it is exactly as good as I imagined it to be.

Gregory smiled like an idiot as he finished the videos he had been working on for the past week. These were the same videos he had shot at Arcadia Online with Blaze, Ezekiel and Raven.

The content he got this time was rich both in quantity and quality. Something that rarely happened in the past few years of his editing and streaming life. Even if he were to post 10 hours of the videos, people were definitely going to watch it all. Just thinking about it made Joshua giggle like an idiot.

All right. Let's have a quick look before we upload the first batch. Gregory moved the mouse pointer slowly to the file, opened it up, and played the first batch of the videos. The video opened with a big, attractive, silver and red title.

The Witch and the Demon.

It was a series of 10 videos, each being 30 minutes long.

In this, Gregory and Blaze had carefully compiled the entire story of the witch. They told the audience how it started, the cruel events that had happened with the Witch, how she wandered through the nights, the demon's plans and summed it all up with the entry of Ezekiel and how he killed the demon.

While many did watch the stream, understanding the concept behind the quest they had, not many knew about the story. Especially because Ezekiel had told them later on off-screen. Ezekiel even told a few special key points that he could have hidden himself and taken advantage of, but was kind enough to share with them.

For that, both Blaze and Link were grateful to Ezekiel and vowed in their hearts to repay him with as much as they could. Link, Gregory, pondered for a few seconds before looking at the theme of the video carefully. Especially comparing it with their own previous videos.

This fits with the theme of the streams we usually do. Gregory nodded in satisfaction as he saw the whole movie series, a blissful smile present on his face as he fast-forwarded it here and there before finishing it within 2 hours. Even though it was fast, he had already watched the whole series at least 3 times before deciding that it was good enough.

Cliffhangers? Check. Rhythm? Check. Duration? Check. Build-up? Check. He calculated everything one last time before deciding to upload them all at once. This should serve as a foundation for other videos that he was going to post tomorrow and the day after.

Next is this one.

Basics of Arcadia.

This one also had a lot of lore and build-up, but it focused mostly on hidden items and key findings within the average areas of the game. Since Ezekiel was kind enough to share the information and even allow Gregory to post it on UTube, he went all out with the editing, compiling it into two parts, 40 minutes each.

Part 1: Basics of Arcadia: Hidden items

Part 2: Basics of Arcadia: Other ways of doing things.

As the titles suggested, the first part dealt with the common hidden items that one can find in average places, while the other part focused on increasing HP, MP, Stamina and some of the stats temporarily by special methods.

This one is going to take time to bloom. Gregory believed as he looked at the content. While it won't have a drastic impact as the first video, as the player base grows within the game, the number of people who will watch the video will increase as well.

It won't be long before this video takes over the first one. Gregory concluded before deciding to publish these two videos tomorrow. He needs to get a copyright for this video first. As for the first one, he had already done so.

Gregory then looked at the last set of videos. The one that would probably cause the most sensation, and the one that he believed had the most potential to earn money.

How to Play Arcadia Online?

Since this one had Ezekiel literally training the players from scratch, as long as there would be new people joining the game, they would definitely check this one out. Even the veterans would keep revisiting until they had learnt everything from it.

How to talk to NPCs?

NPCs to look out for?

Weak Monsters V/S Strong Monsters?

How to use skills better?

How to get better skills and how to upgrade them?

Special Situations and how to face them?

Dungeons and Treasures?

The list didn't end, with each of the videos being 10 to 15 minutes long.

There will be more of them coming as long as we work with Ezekiel. Gregory thought as he looked at the dozen videos before categorising them into basic and advanced lessons.

The basics lesson would be free, while the advanced would be put behind a subscription plan of $5 per month that the viewers can access.

There were many reasons Gregory believed this video would succeed. It had the top player, Ezekiel, teaching the newbies from scratch. The explanations were easy to understand and even simpler to put to use. It wasn't limited to any class or race. Hence, anyone can use them to their advantage. Lastly, they were a surefire way to decrease your gaming difficulty by at least 3 times.

Well, let's finish them one last time and go to sleep. Gregory yawned as he had finally finished the last of his 5-day-marathon work and was finally free. A few touches here and there could be given, but that's not a big deal since the main part was finished.

Taking a look at the few views he got within a few seconds, he smiled before closing the computer and then moving towards his bed. Putting on the blanket, he then went to sleep, drifting off into his dreams within the next 20 seconds as the exhaustion finally took over him.

A happy smile was present on his face.
