MMORPG: Rebirth of the Legendary TimeKeeper

Chapter 87: A New Morning

-Tring! Tring! Tring! Tring!

As the loud alarm rang, waking up from sweet dreams where I was cooking my favourite food while doing a perfect hip-hop, I groaned a bit before looking at the morning sunshine piercing deep into my retina, slowly waking me up.

-Tring! Tring! Tring! Tring!

Taking off the blanket, the first thing that I noticed was the shivering cold as I put it on again. Then, using the special skill that I had learnt in my last life, I picked up the ruler from the table and slightly patted the alarm clock, setting it into snooze mode.

Now, I had 10 minutes to fight off the cold and turn off the alarm for good.

Cold. I blew a slow breath as my body slowly adjusted to the temperature. About a minute later, removing the blanket, I picked up the fresh socks that I had placed beside the bed. Wearing them, I then moved towards the Almera and took out a thermal inner wear before wearing it for the time being.

As the thin, warm fabric trapped the heat inside, I finally felt better and then turned off the alarm as well.

"Ow!"

It was then that I felt the effect of yesterday's stunt that I did against Morgan. The beautiful play was now presenting deep sores because of overexerting my weak muscles. Especially around my shoulders and back that I had used to throw Morgan down.

I seriously need to work out. I concluded before ignoring the pain and cleaning my bed once again, neatly setting the folded blanket and the pillow. Getting out of my room, I looked at the neat and tidy hall with a relieved smile.

Since I and Mom had already cleaned the rooms yesterday, there was not much to do, hence I went to the kitchen and took out yesterday's dinner and heated it in the microwave.

Setting it to a minimum heat on a ten-minute timer, I then went to the bathroom, splashed water on my face and brushed my teeth. Lastly, I also stretched lightly, preparing my body for the morning run that I was about to do in a few more minutes.

Returning to the kitchen, I drank 3 glasses of water. Then I took the food from the microwave, ate a small portion of it, enough to cure the hunger pangs. Separating few meat pieces, I once again placed them in a small box.

Once done with that, I changed into my full sleeves T-Shirt and jogging shorts, took that small meat-filled box before moving out for my daily run.

Let's fulfill today's quota. I thought as I ran a bit faster than usual.

Today's target was a bit different from last weeks.

A half-mile run followed by 2 sets of 5 push-ups.

A half-mile run followed by 2 sets of 35 squats.

A half-mile run followed by 2 sets of 100 seconds hanging on a bar.

Lastly, a half-mile run followed by a 100 seconds plank in the park.

This regime was going to be followed on my return trip as usual, with a steady increase over the next 3 months. The goal was fairly simple.

An 8-minute mile. 100 Squats. 50 Push ups. 50 Pull ups. 5-minute plank.

Once I reached that goal, I was going to add variations to my regime in each of the exercises while also adding a few Aikido and Tae-Kwon-do moves in between the sets.

It's still a long way to go. I calculated as I was finished with my planks. There were many changes over time, including the diet, time-frames and the methods of exercising. Catching-up back to my peak was at least 2-3 years away, even with all the knowledge that I had.

Well, consistency is the key, I suppose? I sighed as I reached the cats once again, feeding them the meat pieces as usual. The kittens leapt into my arms, while the orange cat jumped over my shoulders before sitting on my head.

"Should I form a contract with them now?" I mumbled as I looked at the tamed monsters, observing them carefreely eating the meat pieces with blissful expressions.

"Pfft-hahaha…" as I was sitting there with the cats, I heard a girl's giggle. Turning around, I saw a familiar face standing behind me.

Fredricka was standing there, wearing the same outfit as last time, carrying a water bottle in her hand just like last time.

"Yo!" I said, raising my hand. At that, she waved back before getting closer to me and sitting beside me on the bench. One of the kittens jumped out and reached to her, as she tickled the kitten slightly above its neck.

"You really are serious about exercising, huh? Many would have quit within the first three days," she said with a slightly surprised expression. Her green eyes observed me while she pondered before continuing,

"Do you have a routine? What are your goals?"

Since there was no big secret to what I was doing, I explained my current goals and objectives to her, to which she excitedly nodded and told me her own regime as well. The topic went on for at least 10 minutes, during which I nodded almost all the time, while Fredricka kept speaking her mind.

Hmmm. Should I ask her to stop? I need to return as well. I pondered as I looked at the time on the park clock. Though luckily before I needed to say anything, her own phone alarm rang, pausing her words before she sighed and summed up,

"I always seem to lose track around you, haha. Anyway, I was asking. Would you like to run with me? Having a running buddy would be great."

It doesn't seem like she is flirting with me. I analyzed as I looked at the serious look on her face. Pondering the cons and pros, and the fact that I would be gone from here in the next 3 months anyway, I agreed.

"All right. Give me your phone," she asked, at which, I gave it to her. She typed in something for a few seconds before returning to her.

[Ricka - 7*89**2*9*]

She smiled before waving at me as she said," Be sure to drop me a message with your name," before she jogged away without wasting even a single second.

Saving her number, I put the cats on the side and then ran back home as well. My body sweating heavily as I almost reached back to my apartment, I found a black car standing right outside the apartment gate.

Beside the gate, there were two very familiar women talking to each other in a heated discussion.

They are early. I mumbled as I looked at the time, barely reaching 7 AM.

One of them had bright white hair and was dressed in her usual flashy uniform. Though this time, her skin was covered in a white-jacket, making her look quite decent compared to how I had usually seen her.

Beside her stood a gray-haired woman, her gray eyes looking around the area with slight amusement. Carrying a grey bag that matched her black sweater and long gray skirt, she stood there listening to the white-haired girl, answering in between.

Alexandra Graham Bellimore. I looked at her real look, much different in contrast to what I had seen at the party. I pondered what to say. A few seconds later, moving closer to them, raising my hand, I said the first thing that came into my mind,

"Hey! You guys sure are early!"
