MMORPG: Rebirth of the Legendary TimeKeeper

Reaching back to their sect, Yir first showed his ID before getting into the sect with the two sisters following behind. While Castellina was calm, Livia wasn't as much. Because of what happened at the party, how she got involved with Mr. Anthony, the elders were bound to get angry at that.

Even though it was an event totally out of her control, now her elder sister Castellina was going to get punished for it. She couldn't even bear to look into her sister's eyes for now.

The trio walked through the silent hallway, lit up with torches on both sides, before reaching a semi-modern room with a large circular table in the middle. The table had 16 chairs surrounding it, 14 of which were empty as only 2 elders were currently present in the meeting room. It was just a regular report. Not something that would require the presence of most elders.

One of the elders was the one who managed the two sisters. His eyes carefully analysed their expressions as he saw them entering the meeting room. The other one was the elder, who managed the assassins that had been sent to watch over the girls. To stop them from making any mistakes, or even kill them if they did anything stupid.

"Yir, what's the report?" The elder asked, waiting for Yir, the red-haired assassin, to speak. His eyes were clearly waiting for the mistakes that Livia had done and using that as an opportunity to torture and tame Castellina even more.

That was one of the main reasons that the elders had finally agreed to send Livia into the real world despite their disagreement over it for years.

Though much to their surprise, and even more to the sisters, Yir answered in a serious tone,

"Everything went as planned. Nothing out of the ordinary."

Yir then went on to explain the details of everything that had happened, excluding the exchange of Raven and Mr.Anothony, as if it had never happened.

The elders, a bit dissatisfied, pointing at Livia, asked again,

"What about her? Did she cause any trouble?"

"She chose a quiet corner and observed the host the entire time," Yir spoke, making the elders displeased a bit, but in the end nod at them before finally dismissing them.

As the trio moved outside the room, Livia and Castellina looked at Yir, their eyes narrowed, wondering what he was planning. Why did he help them out? And exactly what was he trying to achieve?

Though rather than answering them, Yir simply ignored them as he walked towards his room, in the luxurious segment of the sect. Livia desperately wanted to ask for his reasons, but since she was not allowed to go in the same area as he was, she could only watch him walk away in silence.

"Let's go," Castellina spoke, making Livia nod before they too walked away from there. Their minds still wondering about the strange actions of Yir.

Yir, as he was walking, paused before turning his head and peeking at the sisters for a few seconds. A slight sigh escaped his mouth as he thought.

I must be getting softer. Well… it doesn't matter much.

Before continuing to walk towards his room again.

Location: Aurora's Dorm

Aurora's silent steps reach her dorm room. Opening the door, she looked at the empty bed opposite her.

Risa isn't here, huh? She thought as she realised that her roommate had gone along with her boyfriend tonight. Since she did not return early, there was a high chance she was sleeping with him tonight.

Aurora then put her bag on the study table, took out the phone number that Mr. Anthony had given her and began saving it. Once done, she then moved towards the Almera, where she opened its safe-locker and kept the paper there.

The next thing was to check the gift she had received at the party.

Placing the nicely wrapped green box on her bed, she first used her box cutter to cut the tapes off before unwrapping the gift slowly. Her eyes looked at the name 'Bela' on top of the wooden box that emerged under the wrap.

It was a famous wristwatch company that made only custom-made watches. The price was often costly, and the only time that Aurora had heard of this company was when she was amused by one of her classmates' conversation back in high school.

"Wow!"

As she opened up the wooden box, she found the glistening golden watch that seemed to be perfectly designed for her. Taking out the watch, she wore it for a few minutes, observing it from every angle. The more she looked at it, the more she liked it.

Once done admiring it, she took off the watch, placed it back in the box before storing it in her locker as well.

Expensive gifts such as these should be worn on special occasions only. She affirmed.

Her mind went back to the party and the events that had transpired. A lot had happened in there, but the thing that most surprised her was…

She still could not believe that she was going to receive such an enormous amount in her bank tomorrow. For someone like Aurora, who barely scraped by, this was enough for her to quit the part-time job she was working at. Or perhaps buy a few things she was putting on hold.

Plus, I got to get close to the host. She smiled at today's achievements. Most of which was because of Mr. Anthony,

"Pfft- Hahaha…"

She laughed as she recalled the out-of-place awkward dance. The more she thought of it, the more she giggled before finally wiping off that tear from her face.

Well, despite being a bad dancer, he sure is a great talker. Perhaps even an amazing detective. She smiled as she recalled how he put down that dark red-suited guy, shaming him and destroying him completely in a few sentences.

Then there was the deduction of the dead guy who fell from the first floor.

He must be an amazing man. She smiled as she looked at the phone number she had just saved on her smartphone. It was rather amazing that she was able to get his contact number.

Perhaps this is what they call a stroke of luck? She thought happily as she realised that she was one step closer to her goal now. Building connections. Gaining capital. Perhaps her life was finally taking a turn for the better.

Imagining a day where she could control her own destiny made her smile even more happily as she slowly drifted off to sleep.
