Marvel : Deadpool Is My Best Friend

Chapter 216

"Come on, all of you," Alex Ray said calmly, showing no intention of acting right away. He was curious to see what abilities the remaining Spider-Men had.

Provoked by Alex's words, the Marvelous Paper Bag Head Spider-Man was the first to lose control and charged forward.

Young and impulsive, he leaped up and aimed a kick at Alex's head.

Alex smiled faintly and raised his right hand, effortlessly catching the kick mid-air.

Feeling the power behind it, Alex commented coolly, "Decent strength… but still far from enough."

The Paper Bag Head Spider-Man was enraged and launched an even fiercer assault.

Not far off, Iron Spider wasn't idle either. He kept his distance, using his armor's systems to fire precise, laser-like blasts at Alex.

There was some coordination between them—but not nearly enough.

With a casual motion, Alex kicked the Paper Bag Head Spider-Man away, sending him crashing into the ground hard enough to carve a deep pit.

At the same time, Scarlet Spider and Ultimate Spider-Man moved into action.

They launched spider silk at surrounding boulders, using them like catapults to hurl massive chunks of debris at Alex.

Alex simply watched the massive stones fly toward him, making no effort to dodge.

He knew better. Despite their intimidating appearance, these rocks posed no real threat.

They landed around him with thunderous crashes, sending up thick smoke.

The dust swirled and began to clear.

Suddenly, a brilliant arc of sword light descended from the sky, striking down toward Alex like divine judgment.

The beam was massive—its energy enough to seem like it could split the heavens in two.

Alex instantly recognized the technique: the Fighting Soul Sword, a special move from one of the strange newcomers they'd labeled "Four Hundred Aunt."

With a focused breath, Alex summoned his internal strength to meet the blow.

The sword light collided with his power, unleashing a deafening boom.

The entire space trembled as shockwaves ripped through the air, clearing the lingering smoke in an instant.

Alex took the full brunt of the impact but remained motionless, his feet planted firmly where he stood.

The Spider-Men watched, eyes wide, as the titanic War Soul Sword struck Alex like a bolt of divine fury. An explosion of energy followed, the tip of the blade acting as the epicenter for a massive eruption, engulfing the entire battlefield in white smoke.

Their hearts swelled with hope.

This was it—the tactic they had carefully devised.

While Four Hundred Aunt unleashed the War Soul Sword, Iron Spider continued with energy-based feints. Spider-Man 2099 and Scarlet Spider used the boulders as a distraction to impair Alex's visibility.

All of it was orchestrated to give Four Hundred Aunt the opening to strike with his ultimate attack.

In their minds, the War Soul Sword was unbeatable—it had felled countless powerful foes. No matter how strong Alex Ray was, no one could possibly withstand that attack.

"Tch. Looks like that Alex guy wasn't all that," Iron Spider muttered, watching the smoke-covered battlefield with disdain. He believed the battle was already over.

But Spider-Man 2099 remained vigilant.

He had fought Alex several times before. He knew better than to underestimate him. His eyes narrowed, scanning the smoke for movement.

"Don't get cocky. It's not over yet," he warned the others.

"No way… That was the War Soul Sword! There's no way anyone could survive that! Is this guy even human?" Scarlet Spider shouted, shaken.

"Right? No one walks away from that!" Four Hundred Aunt declared confidently, his accent heavy. He was certain his ultimate move had landed.

"But damn… that guy's hit really hurts," muttered the Paper Bag Head Spider-Man, staggering out of the rubble while rubbing his sore shoulder. Though he wasn't the strongest, his endurance was impressive.

Ultimate Spider-Man remained silent. His eyes were fixed not on the result of the attack, but on Alex himself—specifically, his armor.

What kind of power did that suit hold to make Alex this unstoppable?

He was determined to ask Alex about it after the fight. If he could get his hands on that suit, it would skyrocket his strength.

Ghost-Spider and Spider Rider, however, didn't share the same optimism.

Each had abilities that allowed them to sense life force and vitality.

To their alarm, Alex's life energy hadn't diminished in the slightest.

Ghost-Spider thought he had lost the capacity for fear after spending so long in Hell, but now he felt a cold shiver crawl down his spine.

The last time he had felt anything like this… was when he made a pact with Mephisto himself.

Spider Knight stood silently, watching the smoke with a grave expression.

Even the three personalities in his head couldn't find a solution to the Alex Ray problem.

As the smoke finally began to fade, Alex's silhouette came into view.

Still standing. Completely unharmed.

Aunt Four Hundred's eyes went wide with disbelief. His heart was full of confusion and frustration.

He couldn't understand. His ultimate technique had never failed before.

How could this man stand there like nothing happened?

A flicker of defeat passed through his gaze. He felt like he was beginning to see through Alex Ray—and what he saw terrified him.

Alex gave a faint smile and casually rolled his neck, cracking it like he was merely warming up.

"Nice attack. Don't take it personally. Maybe I'm just too strong," he said calmly.

Inwardly, he thought: Not bad at all. This technique is definitely worth claiming.

He could already feel the benefits of his current transformation—his defense had clearly improved since taking on the Kamen Rider Chirubas form. It felt solid and adaptable.

"Got anything else you haven't used yet?" Alex asked, almost politely, scanning the silent Spider-Men.

After all, any technique they used could soon become his. He wanted to see everything for himself.

But none of them replied. They were too stunned by his strength.

Alex smirked at their silence.

"If not… then I'll end this."

The moment he finished speaking, a tremendous aura burst from him.

It swept across the battlefield like a gale, warping the air with its sheer pressure.

The Spider-Men felt a crushing weight descend on them—as if an invisible mountain was pressing against their chests.

They could barely breathe.

Alex Ray hadn't just survived their strongest attack.
