Marvel : Deadpool Is My Best Friend

Chapter 214 : The Weaklings Exit and the Sun Spider-Man with Full Buffs

Alex Ray stood at the center of the battlefield, eyes locked on the approaching Spider-Men with a piercing gaze.

Their silhouettes, illuminated in the shifting light and shadow, looked more resolute than ever—each one radiating strength and unshakable will.

He took a deep breath, his expression growing solemn. It was time to get serious.

Alex hadn't provoked the Spider-Men out of arrogance or malice. There was a far more calculated reason behind it.

First, he needed to prove his power. Through this battle, he would show the Spider-Men that he was strong enough to protect them—and, through strength, earn their trust and respect. After all, nothing spoke louder than combat.

Second, Alex wanted to assess the collective strength of the Spider-Man Alliance.

He was well aware that most of Spider-Man's enemies were mutated scientists or low-tier threats, and few had ever confronted truly powerful energy-based foes.

He didn't expect them to defeat Kang the Conqueror. That would be asking too much. But if they could at least stall a few of Kang's multiversal variants, they might buy the time needed to win.

If they were too weak, sending them into battle would be the same as sending them to die. And Alex couldn't let that happen.

In his previous life, he'd only seen a few versions of Spider-Man through films and animations. The collective Spider-Men had failed to even capture Miles Morales. That clearly wasn't their full potential.

But there were definitely Spider-Men who were weaker than Miles. After all, Miles had only just begun his journey as a Spider-Man and hadn't even mastered his own powers yet.

Alex remembered that, in the movie, only Spider-Man 2099 had taken the chase seriously. The others had been half-hearted, eating snacks, loafing around, even attending therapy.

Alex thought Spider-Man 2099 had it worse than Akainu during the Battle of Marineford. At least Akainu's soldiers were reliable. Here, it seemed like everyone but Miguel O'Hara was slacking.

And the reason was simple.

They didn't want to see another Spider-Man lose a loved one. They were curious to see what Miles might accomplish.

Tell them to go fight villains? They'd leap into action. But tell them to stop a fellow Spider-Man from saving his father? They'd hesitate.

Still, they didn't want to outright defy Spider-Man 2099's orders—so they settled on half-measures.

Of course, this was just Alex's speculation. Maybe some of them just weren't strong enough.

But whatever the truth, this battle would serve to test the Spider-Society's true strength.

Only with that understanding could he formulate effective strategies.

As Alex clashed with the Spider-Men, their silhouettes blurred together in a whirlwind of fists and kicks. Each collision generated bursts of air pressure.

His eyes stayed focused, fearless in the face of the relentless waves of opponents.

He continued to counterattack, observing each Spider-Man. Some were... memorable. Spider-Mobile. Peter Parkedcar.

Western Cowboy Spider-Man. Sun-Spider. Spider-Cat. Spider-Monkey.

He had a vivid impression of Sun-Spider. She was one of the most unconventional Spider-Men he had ever seen—even before his dimensional travel. A perfect representation of American inclusivity at the time: disabled, fighting from a wheelchair, and proudly queer.

As more Spider-Men came at him, a mocking smile crept across Alex's lips. His voice was calm but laced with undeniable arrogance.

"Weaklings should step aside."

He grabbed the joystick on his belt, his movements precise and deliberate.

With each shift, the lights on the belt began to pulse with energy—flashing like a countdown to devastation.

"Ready. Go!" a mechanical voice barked.

Miguel O'Hara's eyes widened. From the sidelines, he realized what was happening. Alex was activating a high-powered skill.

"Everyone, move! Don't get hit!" Miguel's voice thundered across the field, warning the others.

But it was already too late.

A massive white spiderweb pattern exploded beneath their feet, spreading rapidly across the battlefield.

Alex transformed into Kamen Rider Killbus Spider and began weaving through the Spider-Men at supersonic speed.

With every pass, he left a trail of reinforced spider-silk behind him, interlacing it into a vast web suspended in the air.

To Miguel and the others, all they could see was a streak of red zipping around like lightning. Most couldn't even track him with their eyes—they had to rely on instinct.

Only a few of the stronger Spider-Men could just barely glimpse his movements.

They were both awed and terrified.

Alex's transformation into Kamen Rider Killbus Spider wasn't even his full power. To him, it was only one facet of his arsenal.

Frankly, none of them had speed close to Pietro's. But at least he looked better doing it.

Finally, the web was complete.

The enormous white net now trapped the entire battlefield. Dozens of Spider-Men were immobilized, their limbs tangled and bound.

No matter how hard they struggled, the threads held firm.

It was ironic. Spider-Men, caught in a spiderweb.

They tried everything—web-shooters, claws, tech—to cut themselves free.

But Alex didn't stop.

He landed softly in the center of the arena.

From the void, the mechanical voice returned.

"Killbus Spider Finish!"

Four massive red spider spears materialized behind him, like deadly appendages.

They launched forward—piercing the battlefield with devastating force.

BOOM.

The base of the Spider-Society cracked open. Smoke billowed in every direction.

Alex stood silently, admiring the destruction.

"Damn… this Killbus form is badass. It's up there with Eternal," he muttered to himself. "Shame there are too many of them, or I'd have used the Rider Kick. Killbus Spider's Rider Kick is awesome…"

He glanced around at the wreckage.

"…Maybe I overdid it."

As the smoke cleared, Alex saw dozens of Spider-Men strewn across the floor, unable to continue fighting.

Only a handful remained standing.

These were the elite. The true powerhouses among them.

Of course, he had held back against a few—like the pregnant Spider-Woman, and the Peter Parker variant lying down with a baby in his arms. He hadn't touched them.

Alex wasn't a monster.
