Chapter 213 : I want to fight
Alex Ray transformed into Kamen Rider Killbus Spider and stood silently, the constant chatter of the Spider-Men buzzing in his ears. He frowned slightly and turned to Miguel O'Hara beside him.
"It seems they don't think you can win this fight," Alex said calmly.
Miguel's expression shifted, but he said nothing. His fists clenched tightly at his sides, trembling slightly with restrained frustration.
Alex ignored Miguel's reaction and turned to face the group of Spider-Men gathered nearby.
His voice, now altered by the transformation, rang out cold and mechanical: "I think you misunderstood my intention. I'm not challenging any one of you... I want all of you—together. I'm here to fight all ten of you at once."
The gathered Spider-Men abruptly fell silent. Conversations stopped mid-sentence as they turned to stare at him in shock.
"What? Is he asking all of us to jump him?"
"Forget it. Fighting's too exhausting. Eating snacks sounds way better."
"He's so damn cool. I kind of love him."
"He's mocking us, Spider-Man! Screw that guy!"
"I don't think I could beat him even if I tried…"
"This Alex Ray guy is hilarious. Totally feels like one of us."
Miguel could no longer hold back his anger. He charged toward Alex with a roar.
"Don't underestimate me, bastard!"
Alex didn't turn. It was as if he'd seen the attack coming.
He stood there unmoving as Miguel's punch slammed into his back.
The sheer force of the blow created a burst of pressure in the air, whipping up a whirlwind—but Alex didn't budge. The attack might as well have been a breeze.
Miguel's expression twisted in disbelief. His full-strength strike had done absolutely nothing.
He'd known Alex was strong—but not like this. Not this monstrous.
Still, retreating wasn't an option. Miguel's arms shifted, his fingers elongating into razor-sharp claws that glinted with deadly light.
He fixed his eyes on Alex, the way a predator locks onto its prey. His face was set with grim determination.
With a primal roar, Miguel lunged, claws flashing, aiming to tear through the armor that had just brushed off his earlier punch.
The surrounding Spider-Men, now watching in stunned silence, began to realize the true extent of Alex's power.
Miguel's frenzied attack sparked off Alex's suit, doing no visible damage.
They began to understand—Alex hadn't been bluffing.
He really might be capable of taking all of them on.
Alex glanced at the Spider-Men surrounding him, disappointed by their lack of response.
They looked bored, unconcerned—even amused.
He sighed. Of course.
Garfield's Peter. Tobey's Peter. Holland's Peter.
They were all too kindhearted, too grounded to be easily provoked.
If they weren't, they wouldn't have suffered so much in silence for so long.
Alex narrowed his eyes. If they wouldn't take this seriously, he'd make them.
He only needed one sentence.
"Is this all the strength Spider-Men have? No wonder you can't even protect your own families."
His voice hit like thunder.
"Because of your incompetence, your loved ones had to die in front of you!"
The words struck deep. Faces twisted with pain and fury.
The Spider-Men who had been laughing moments ago now looked ready to kill.
"Bastard!" one of them growled, his eyes blazing.
"Let's tear him apart!" another shouted.
Several Spider-Men lunged forward, unleashing a wave of attacks.
Their strikes came fast and furious, but Alex didn't falter. He met their blows with precise counters, returning every hit with devastating force.
Even as he fought, several Spider-Men stayed behind, unmoving. These were veterans—ones who had lived through real tragedy.
They weren't rushing in blindly. They observed Alex carefully, eyes sharp and unreadable.
Fists slammed down like rain. Each one of Alex's blows dropped another attacker. But only about a third of the Spider-Men present had joined the fray.
The others—the stronger, more composed ones—watched from the sidelines.
Among them, one stood out: the Scarlet Spider.
Arms folded, he studied the chaos quietly.
"Still not enough," Alex muttered, eyes scanning the crowd. "This is all you've got? You Spider-Men only know how to cry over the weak and watch your loved ones die?"
"You only dare challenge those weaker than you?" he continued. "Uncle Ben. Aunt May. They were your family, and you failed them. Over and over again."
"No matter the universe, you're cursed. And still, you laugh? If I were you, I'd have died with Aunt May."
His voice cut deep. Each line was a dagger to their hearts.
More Spider-Men snapped.
"I know he's trying to provoke us, but dammit—I can't take it anymore!" a burly Spider-Man roared.
"Shut him up!" shouted another, clad in a black combat suit.
"There's no way so many of us can lose to one guy!"
Even the slacker version of Peter—lying on the ground moments before—rose to his feet, determination gleaming in his eyes.
The battlefield exploded into chaos.
Spider-Men surged forward.
The Dinosaur Spider-Man charged like a beast.
Scarlet Spider finally stepped in.
Ultimate Spider-Man activated his bio-electric powers.
John Parker, the Spider-Man with military precision, launched coordinated strikes.
Every Spider-Man variant capable of serious combat joined the fray.
And still, Alex Ray stood tall.
