"The Illuminati? Shouldn't there only be the Avengers in my universe? Why is there an Illuminati?" Alex Ray thought to himself, frowning.
Who is the World Destroyer? Is it the one he knew? Could it be Tsukasa Kadoya—Kamen Rider Decade?
But this was a Marvel facility, not the Kamen Rider universe.
Still, Alex thought that as long as the world had knights, Tsukasa could use his laser curtain to travel freely to any realm with knights.
The one who brought his beloved wife along was Lady Haidong, the thief.
But why were these two still part of the Illuminati?
Alex couldn't figure it out, but what he knew for sure was that he had to "entertain" this senior knight well.
Tsukasa was known to care for every younger knight.
However, there was one thing confusing Alex: the system prompt. After meeting Doctor Strange this time, the system's message was unusual.
"Congratulations, host. You have successfully added Doctor Strange as a friend," the system voice echoed inside his mind.
Then a new interface appeared:
[Doctor Strange (five-star friend level) is sealed]
Seeing this, Alex's heart filled with doubt.
"System, what's going on?" he asked mentally.
The system responded, "Host, this is because you met this friend at different time periods within the same universe. Only the meeting at the initial stage unlocks full friendship.
Your friendship points, as well as family points, can only be unlocked if you meet him in the initial stage."
After this explanation, Alex finally understood.
It was the system's way to prevent exploitation of time-travel bugs. After all, the achievement belonged to his future self; his past self couldn't just enjoy the rewards.
Alex had originally hoped to gain friendship twice by meeting the same person at two different points in time, but it seemed he was overthinking.
It looked like Tony Stark in this universe wouldn't allow him to "swipe" again, but Alex still wanted to see how this Tony behaved.
As for the villains, he'd leave them to his apprentice.

Meanwhile, the Holland version of Peter emerged from the mirror dimension. Having escaped successfully, he was eager to find his closest friends—Ned and MJ.
Peter handed them the mysterious box.
He brought these enemies home, intending to use the super-manufacturing machine left by his mentor, Tony Stark, to research ways to restore them to normal.
With a hopeful mindset, he called Tony—but the voice on the other end was cold.
Peter first focused on Doctor Octopus. He discovered that Otto's control chip was fried, causing his mechanical tentacles to act erratically and control themselves.
Using the super-manufacturing machine, Peter quickly developed a replacement chip.
He carefully installed it into Otto's body and waited anxiously.
When the voice inside Doctor Octopus's mind vanished and he returned to his usual calm and easygoing self, Peter knew the repair had succeeded.
Otto looked at Peter gratefully and handed back the Nano Spider-Man suit.
Just as Peter was about to solve Dr. Curt Connors's problem, his spider-sense flared.
He spun around and saw Green Goblin, Electro, and others sneaking into his house.
Peter's heart surged with anger and confusion.
He understood someone had betrayed him and leaked his location.
His sharp eyes scanned everyone, finally resting on Sandman.
He asked harshly, "You were the one who informed on me? Why?"
He analyzed that no one else had left his sight, and only Sandman could notify the others through the sand.
Peter's heart filled with both confusion and fury.
He didn't understand why Sandman would betray him, especially since he was trying to save these people and restore them.
Don't they want to break free from their dark pasts and start anew?
"Why? You didn't think we'd actually mend our ways," Sandman said flatly.
Green Goblin chuckled wickedly. "You really think they want to return to normal?
If they do, their powers vanish, and they become the losers they once were.
We're born to rule. We have extraordinary power—why give it up?"
Peter felt a cold chill down his spine listening to those words.
He realized these villains weren't as simple as he had imagined.
Not only did they wield formidable powers, but their values and ambitions were twisted.
They didn't want normal lives because they enjoyed the control their powers gave them.
"Gods don't need to make choices. We are gods! We just take what we want!" Green Goblin declared, laughing wildly.
"Little Spider, we won't go back. Just be my prey," Hunter Kraven said, eyes full of bloodlust as he stared at the Holland Peter.
The Vulture added eagerly, "We don't want normal lives! This is the dream I've chased my whole life. No one will stop me from flying free."
Peter felt powerless hearing their words.
He understood these villains were trapped by their obsessions.
He looked at these foes from other universes with helplessness and despair.
His earlier hopefulness now seemed naive.
He'd tried to save them with kindness, ignoring the darkness inside.
Only now did Holland Peter grasp how right Doctor Strange's decision was.
Just as remorse overwhelmed him, Electro swiftly snatched the Arc Reactor Peter had left behind.
"This is Iron Man's Arc Reactor. I never thought I'd get my hands on one from another universe," Electro said greedily.
In his own universe, he never could have stolen Iron Man's reactor.
"Thanks, Peter. No matter which world you come from, you're always such a saint. As a reward, I'll let you die with dignity," Electro said as he placed the Arc Reactor on his chest.
