Lust System: Sword Genius in Women's World

Chapter 171 Ice Elemental

The golem was massive. Almost five times the size of the others, its body jagged with sharp ice crystals and once the body was fully formed, it let out a loud roar that shook the dungeon.

Xavier froze as his system lit up in front of him.

[Dungeon Boss]

[Ice Elemental]

"That means this is the final floor, if Mira had dodged all the golems and try to move further she would have been met with this?"

This meant the dungeon wasn't that big, but another thing that came to his mind, the beast in front of him was a large golem, but the dungeon boss was an ice elemental.

Xavier had no idea what ice elementals looked like but he knew it was like this.

Star already turned around looking at the golem, and it was bigger than her, it seemed the dungeon was this big just to accommodate this particular golem as the head was almost touching the ceiling.

"Mari, come over here, stay behind Star," Xavier shouted across the chamber as he moved forward.

Mira didn't hesitate, she ran across the frozen ground, her breath sharp in the cold, until she reached the other side behind Star's massive burning body.

'Look at the feet of the golem, I think that's the dungeon boss...ohh an elemental, impressive' Star spoke and Xavier looked at the feet of the golem.

He was too focused on the size of the golem he didn't look at the ground, a figure was beside the golem and just like the golem it was made of Ice, it is as the Ice elemental.

The Ice Elemental was a tall beautiful creature made entirely of ice, it looked like a female as it was hair that flowed like strands of frost, sharp and glittering, and her eyes shone brightly.

Her skin was smooth and clear like frozen glass, with faint blue light glowing inside her body.

Ice spikes formed around her shoulders and arms, giving her a natural armor. The figure was elegant but Xavier knew it was also dangerous, the amount of Mana it holds was even more than that of Star behind him.

"Star," Xavier's voice echoed in her mind. 'The golem is yours. Burn it down. I'll handle the Ice Elemental'

The dragon turned her head slightly, her eye flashing at him. She didn't reply, but a low growl rumbled from her chest before she stomped forward, steam rising as her claws cracked the frozen floor.

Xavier's gaze shifted to the figure beside the giant golem.

Its body looked human-shaped but made of clear ice, to Xavier almost everything looked human shaped.

Xavier grinned, though his breath was white in the bitter cold, he still spoke.

"So you're the boss of this place,"

[Inventory]

Xavier placed his hands in and brought out his sword. His sword gleamed faintly, reflecting the glow of the frozen chamber. He held it loosely, but his eyes were focused.

The ice elemental raised its hand slowly. The air around it grew colder at once, frost crawling across the walls and ceiling and then the massive golem began charging forward, not towards Xavier, but towards Star, the biggest target.

Xavier spun his sword once as he chuckled, pointing the tip of the sword toward the elemental.

"Hmmm...Let's see how strong you really are"

Xavier spoke as he stepped forward.

.

The golem let out a roar. Its huge body of ice moved forward, each step making the ground crack. Blue light glowed from its chest, the golem crystal pulsing with Mana.

Star's eyes narrowed. Steam rose from her body as her skin was getting even hotter, she wasn't in frenzy mode and wasn't planning to as she could beat the golem without it.

The golem raised one arm high and slammed it down. The ground shook, ice splinters flying everywhere.

Star moved fast, flying aside before the fist crushed her. Flames burst from her mouth as she fired at its leg. The fire hit, melting some of the ice, but the leg froze back almost instantly.

"Tch… it has the elemental healing ability, troublesome" Star snorted.

The golem turned, swinging again. Star jumped onto its arm, flames covering her feet, and ran straight up its body. She opened her mouth and spat fire at its head.

The blast smashed the head apart into chunks of ice. But the crystal inside its chest glowed brighter, and the head quickly re-formed in seconds.

Star landed back on the ground, teeth clenched. "Even if I blast where the crystal is located, it'll head before I destroy the crystal, well then...I have flames you can't heal from"

The golem stomped forward, the dungeon shaking. Its heavy arms smashed the ground again and again, chasing her. Star dodged moving backwards but careful not to moved towards the wall as that was where Mira was.

The golem was relentless as it continued slamming it's hands down to crush Star, but after dodging the lastest attack Star wa finally ready.

Golden sparks began to flicker across her body, and soon the flames on her skin grew brighter, hotter, turning gold, the heat was increased and the ice all around the dungeon began melting.

The golem raised both arms to crush her. Star roared back, flying forward instead of dodging, and began the golem could strike, she unleashed a blast of her golden flames into its chest.

*BOOM!!*

The ice cracked apart, melting under the golden fire. The core was exposed, glowing brightly. The golem staggered, trying to close its chest back up, but the ice couldn't heal not fast enough.

Star flew forward, her wings spreading wide. She landed hard on the golem's chest, and her weight coupled with the fact that it wasn't balanced making it fall backward with a loud crash.

Before it could move, she lowered her head and sank her jaws into the glowing core. Her teeth crushed it in one bite.

The crystal shattered in her mouth as she consumed it, the golem let out a final roar. Its body cracked all over, then collapsed into shards of ice.
