Life after being a Mercenary

It is a new after yesterday where a lot of things happened.

We have no school and I have nothing to do at home so I am currently having a morning run to exercise my legs and kill some time.

Jin said that he is not gonna be able to see me today so... I guess I'm gonna alone for now, my sister and Jin's sister go out earlier this morning at 8 o'clock, now it's 10:30 so I guess they are gonna come back earlier in the afternoon.

What am I gonna do now? I have so many confusing thoughts in my mind and it keeps adding and adding more confusing things. I am not saying that Jin having a system and confusing and I am jealous of him about it no, Jin explains to me everything and I'm not gonna betray him for trusting me.

What I am confused right now is, where is no. 10? What is he doing here? Is it really okay for him to be in here? By the looks of it, he doesn't get an order from Blackdog and just acted on his own.

'Plus what he says at that time..... He seems so angry about something....'

I said in my mind as I slow down from running when I saw a big house, I think it's a mansion if the information I got is correct.

'looks good'

I said and was about to continue my ran but got bumped into another person. I'm certain that the other person I got bumped with is a women and she is shorter than me, I was about to say sorry but she says it first and looked at me. She looked kind of familiar to me....

'i wonder who is she...'

"Im sorr-"

She didn't managed to continue what she is going to say after looking at me, she has a red hair and curly hair with a red eyes.

"Julian! Is that you?!"

"?"

I didn't answer fast because i was processing my memory on when did I saw her first and I think there's just a light bulb that appeared in my head like 'Ting!' in Jin's system.

"Oh hey.... Uhm.... Mom's friend"

I said while looking at her and then she just laughed at me, I was confused on why is she laughing. Did I say something wrong to make her laughed? Or did she saw something funny on my back?

I keep asking myself on why is she laughing that I even turn Behind me and looked if there is something funny happening because she keeps laughing as if it's her last day she is gonna laugh.

'why is she laughing?'

She looked looks at me and then stopped laughing and i got confused again, now why did she stopped laughing all of a sudden? Now my head is really gonna explode.

"Why are you so serious?~~ and just call me aunt because me and your mom is friend for years now~~~"

"Okay.... Mom's friend.."

I said and then she laughed when again. Now i don't really understand her, she is kind of weird.

"You are so funny child~~ and so handsome~~~"

"...thanks?"

I was just quiet and not saying anything and so does she that i think it's making a feeling like..... I think they called it awkward?

"Now this is awkward...."

She says and I'm right, they called it awkward. I'm not very familiar with that word because I just say whatever I think is truth if the others asked me, I'm not very fond of lying to others and manipulating them..... Although I kind of did it many times because of some missions...

"Im gonna continue my ran now..."

"Wait, do you want to go inside first? Im gonna give you some cookie and a milk~~~ or a coffee if you want...~~~ or perhaps do you want wine?~~"

"Uh n-"

I was about to say something but someone interrupted me and says something I heard loud and clear because he shouts.

"Hey mom! Let's go inside already! I'm hungr--"

He also didn't managed to continue what he is going to say after looking at me, he suddenly stopped and then bowed to me. Why did he suddenly bow? Is something the problem? Did he suddenly dropped something on the ground?

"Goodmorning! Brother Julian!"

Brother? He is not my brother.

"You are not my brother. We have different surname"

I said while looking at him and then he looked at me confused. What? What did I do wrong?

"No... Thats not what I meant... What i mean is.. y'know what, nevermind that! Are you hungry? Let's go inside our mansion to eat something! I'm sure you are gonna like it!"

"No, I already ea-"

"Don't disagree and just go eat with us y'know~~~"

I didnt managed to continue what I was going to say because they just started to pushed me inside of their house.... Or mansion.

It is big and full of decorations and some fragment s of ancient artifact that got destroyed thousands of years ago like a stone wheel, bone of a dinosaur and many more. Some of them are over millions of years ago when i read it.

We then go to their table, it is big and id say it is over 7-8 meters long but only about 30 inches wide. Why do they use these anyway? It is long but not that big and wide, the table in our house is much more bigger although not this long.

"Eat whatever you want Brother Julian! We have more!"

Sam said, he is actually kind of a good guy but, i wonder why is Ara so uncomfortable around him? Is he just hiding his true personality to me because this is the first time we are gonna talk? Well, only one way to find out. I'm gonna ask my little sister when I got home.

"Yeah... Thanks"

All of us eat and Sam keeps telling about the story of him and Ara when I was gone for years. It is actually kind of fun listening to them but I didnt managed to hear all of it because I was busy with foods they gaved me. It is so good I don't know some of the story they were talking about.

"You seem to like it brother! Do you want more? Is there something you want!? Just tell me! If I can get it for you, I'm gonna go and get it!"

He says and then I was about to disagree and says I'm fine but something came in my mind. Although Jin says he still wants to work to cover and give some money to his sister, i asked why does he needs money when he have a system to get his money from but he says that he needs a work to let his sister knows that the money his getting is from work and not some magical things that is gonna give you some money when you want to. I just agreed to him and promised that I was gonna find a good job for this, I was about to say what i want to say but Sam said something again.

"Oh and brother, can you please ask Ara why is she so uncomfortable around me yesterday? I think she is uncomfortable because of my mom being there...."

"What do you mean you little rascal?~~~"

He also didn't know? I really need to asked my sister about this but before that, I need to find a job for me and Jin.

"Uhmmm... Theres actually something I want"

"Yeah? Let's hear it!"

Sam said with a smile on his face and while also looking at me.

"Do you have some bodyguard works? I want to find a job for me and my friend..."

I said to them which made them confused.

"A job? Why?"

"It's to help his mother you little rascal~~~ you never helped me that's why you didnt know what he meant~~~"

They sure are close to each other, but why are they always fighting? Is it on their blood to always fight someone anywhere or something like that? Me and my sister kind of do that sometimes when I did something she doesnt like and then she is going tk twll me that it is mot okay to do and also, my mom never yelled at me and I also never yelled at my mom but.... Why is he yelling at her mom so casually?

"Shut up mom! Oh and by the way, we actually have. I have a friend who owns a university and she wants a bodyguard for her and her dad because of the recent assault incident that happens to their daughter and they are trying to find the one who helped their daughter but they can't. Im sure that they are so worried about her and about the bodyguard work, have you ever heard of the university called 'INTELLIGENCE UNIVERSITY'?"
