Chapter 569: The Bomber

Western Federal Nevada, a few kilometers south of Wellington City, a villa.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Bang bang bang—

"Left side! Be careful on the left!"

"Get down!"

"*#%..."

Gunshots ceaselessly echoed from beneath the villa, as a squad of SWAT officers and a bunch of African American mercenaries exchanged frenzied fire, the intense sounds of battle ringing in the ears.

While the heated battle raged downstairs, the mood of the African American sniper at the top of the villa's attic was incredibly cold.

Because of the language barrier, the African American sniper didn't understand the greeting Luo An uttered, but having someone suddenly appear behind him while he was aiming at someone else...

Even though he didn't believe in ghosts or gods, the African American sniper's hair stood on end, and he got goosebumps, rolling to the left without hesitation and reaching for the pistol at his side, ready to shoot the assailant behind him.

Hiss—

The next second, a piercing cold light flashed before the African American sniper's eyes, and a sharp pain violently surged from his neck.

The African American sniper's pupils contracted sharply, and he subconsciously covered the wound with his hand, but the warm blood still uncontrollably spurted from his neck, quickly dying his black skin a bright red.

Watching the African American sniper twitch a few times before stopping breathing, Luo An grinned and withdrew his dagger, pressing down on the communicator by his ear, and commanded:

"Plan successful, the sniper is taken out! Begin the full assault!"

Upon hearing Luo An's words, several SWAT team leaders at the other end of the communicator widened their eyes in disbelief; Winslow, Reesi, and Chenier let out a breath of relief as if unburdened, admiration filled the faces of the SWAT officers, and they all responded in unison:

"Understood!"xN

Since the sniper had been taken out by Luo An, the feint could stop. The SWAT team leaders each led their teams and commanded:

"Right side! Surround from the right!"

"Commence the assault! Take them down!"

Bang bang bang—

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The battle noise downstairs in the villa became even more intense, and the African American mercenaries instantly felt tremendous pressure, and after several comrades fell dead, they had no choice but to slowly retreat towards the back of the villa.

Meanwhile, inside the villa, after dealing with the African American sniper, Luo An wiped off some splattered blood from his hands, pulled out a pistol from his lower back, and began to silently move downstairs.

Luo An's next target was to find the person of interest for this operation, Hamid Hogan.

This four-story villa included the attic at the top. Luo An, holding the gun, cautiously moved downwards while leaning against the wall. He rolled into a room on the third floor and immediately saw an African American holding a submachine gun and shooting frantically out of a window.

Seeing Luo An roll into the room, the African American mercenary was stunned, then quickly turned the gun to aim at Luo An.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Luo An was faster, squeezing the trigger three times in quick succession, two shots to the chest and one to the head. The African American mercenary fell to the ground with a lifeless gaze, Luo An turned around and continued to the other rooms.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three shots rang out continuously from various rooms on the third floor, with Luo An's two-to-the-chest-one-to-the-head maneuver growing more practiced.

Soon, the African American mercenaries in each room on the third floor were all cleared by Luo An.

Next to two African American mercenary corpses, Luo An stood leaning against the wall with the gun, eyes fixed on the stairwell and pressed the communicator, saying:

"Third floor enemies are cleared, target..."

Before he could finish, two men burst from the stairwell entrance.

Seeing the red-light flashing items strapped around their waists, Luo An's pupils contracted sharply, without hesitation he fired and killed both men, then turned and jumped out of the room's window, shouting into the communicator at the same time:

"Fu-k! Watch out for the f***ing bomb!"

"What?"

"What did he say?"

Initially stunned by Luo An's announcement that he had cleared all enemies on the third floor, several SWAT team leaders and SWAT team members were full of shock and admiration.

But Luo An's following words were too rushed, and with gunfire everywhere, everyone didn't catch his words clearly.

Just as they were about to press the communicator to ask for clarification, two deafening explosions suddenly came from the villa!

Boom—

Boom—

The sounds of the explosions thundered into the sky, SWAT team members instinctively lay down on the ground to avoid the attack and protect themselves, and then they felt a barrage of glass shards and random objects rain down on them.

After waiting a few seconds, everyone stood up, looked toward the source of the explosion, and to their shock, discovered that the right half of the second and third floors of the villa had been completely obliterated, with flames blazing furiously.

Winslow, Reesi, and Chenier's faces changed drastically as they saw the scene, rushing to press their communicators, asking:

"Luo An? Where are you? How are you?"

"I'm fine!"

By the artificial hill behind the villa, Luo An slowly climbed out of the pond, spitting out a mouthful of water, his expression slightly fierce due to the pain in several parts of his body. Picking up a nearby communicator, he said sternly:

"The enemy strapped bombs to themselves! Be extra cautious!"

"Bombs strapped to themselves?"

Hearing this, Winslow, Reesi, and Chenier's expressions darkened, and the SWAT team leaders and members also felt their hearts tighten.

Before they could ask further questions, a group of black mercenaries suddenly ran out from the villa, charging toward them with items flashing red lights strapped around their waists!

"Fu-k!"

"Crap!"

"Mother-fu-ker!"

"*#¥%..."

Watching these crazed men, with bombs attached to them rushing towards themselves, everyone present became pale as ghosts and quickly aimed and fired madly at the mercenaries.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

A burst of gunfire, even more intense than before, rang out, with the black mercenaries falling one after another, but as they hit the ground, the red lights on their bodies suddenly stopped, and the next second, several familiar explosions echoed through the heavens!

Boom—

Boom—

Boom—

After the explosion, Winslow and the SWAT members rose from the ground, looking at the large crater not far in front of them and the chunks of strange black and red substance caked on their clothing, their faces extremely grim.

Smelling the faint scent of charred flesh in the air, Reesi and Chenier turned pale, instinctively feeling nauseous, but quickly suppressed the sensation.

"Advance!"

The SWAT team leaders, also looking unwell, quickly pulled themselves together and commanded loudly:

"Attack!"

"Understood!"

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Boom—

Boom—

Soon, gunfire erupted again, with the teams taking down the bomber-men and avoiding explosions as they continued to push into the villa.

At the same time, elsewhere, Luo An broke into the interior of the villa again and soon found the room where the mercenaries were making the bomber-men.

Hiss—

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Forcefully throwing a dagger, it pierced into the neck of a black mercenary on the left, causing him to collapse powerlessly, followed by two shots to the chest and one to the head; Luo An quickly eliminated another black mercenary on the right.

Looking at a pile of freshly wrapped bombs on the table, Luo An snorted coldly, turned, and walked out of the room, pressing his communicator:

"Bomber-man production has stopped, attack with full force!"

"Understood!"

Dodging several black mercenaries, Luo An slowly entered the pitch-dark basement that had no lights on. Just as he reached the end of the staircase, a burst of orange muzzle flashes violently erupted from a corner of the basement.

Bang bang bang bang bang bang—

Countless bullets hit the end of the staircase instantly, and Luo An, relying on his sense of danger, rolled forward a step ahead, narrowly avoiding the lethal attack.

But after the enemy ceased fire, because the basement lights were off, and the enemy's natural camouflage, Luo An couldn't see where the enemy was at all.

Fortunately, since the start of the battle, Luo An had his emotional perception activated, constantly sensing the location of the enemy through the emotions of others.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The next second, three gunshots rang out; in the corner, a black mercenary looked at the two muzzle flashes on his chest and the pain coming from his forehead with an incredulous thought flashing through his mind, and ultimately closed his eyes, falling to the ground lifeless.

Finding the switch and turning on the lights, Luo An didn't bother with the black mercenary's corpse but quickly went to the side of a white man lying on the ground nearby.

The man on the ground had blond short hair, a prominent nose, deep eye sockets, and was distinctly mixed-race. He was Luo An's target for this mission, Hamid Hogan.
