KONOHA :THE RISE OF KAITON

Chapter 13: Chapter 13: Teacher Akirai

Akira felt a little flustered.

The enthusiasm of his classmates triggered some bad memories, and he knew he needed to do something to cool them down. He had to tell them: "Don't get ahead of yourselves, there's no shortcut, and the only way to succeed is to lie down like a king."

However, slowing down his training pace was simply out of the question. For Akira, the visible improvement in his abilities was addictive. It was because of this that he had managed to catch up with Tsunade. If he slacked off now, he'd probably be overtaken by her once again. Even if it meant avoiding a future where he would be outclassed, he had to train harder.

Unfortunately, Akira wasn't the only one with this mindset.

After Setsu, Hyugatsu, and Luming tried Akira's rigorous training methods, the next day, the enthusiasm of the group with bandages on their heads was exceptionally high. They all vowed to reclaim their lost ground.

It must be said that sometimes, hatred could also serve as motivation!

Seeing that these individuals were leading the charge, the rest of the class quickly jumped into the competition for the "King of Papers." Soon, the whole class was walking back to the classroom with bandages on their heads, and it attracted the attention of all the teachers and students in the school. The first-grade class became famous instantly.

Rumors spread throughout the school—some thought they looked strange, while others mocked their reckless training. But admiration and ridicule abounded. As the creator of the training method, Akira's name became widely known, and some even named the method "The Buddha Training Method."

When Akira discovered this, he couldn't help but admire their creativity. Wearing a bag on his head every day, wasn't that exactly what a Buddha would do?

As the head teacher of Class 1, Tenzou also received much attention due to his students. Because of this, Mr. Hokage, the principal of the ninja school, praised him and encouraged him to continue his efforts. While Tenzou was happy about the praise, a sense of responsibility began to weigh on him.

The students were working so hard; as their teacher, he had to do something for them!

It was against this backdrop that Akira walked into Tenzou's office.

When Akira entered, the first thing he said was, "Teacher, this can't go on. If they continue training like this, their bodies will suffer sooner or later!"

Tenzou, looking at Akira with a puzzled expression, asked, "What do you mean? What could possibly go wrong?"

It wasn't surprising that Tenzou had such doubts. Born into a prestigious ninja family, he had received high-quality training from a young age. His body was solid and well-built, thanks to ample resources, including medical ninjas who took care of any injuries. It was a far cry from the situation of civilian ninjas.

For the children of civilian families like Setsu and the others, the situation was very different. First, they didn't have enough funds to buy ninja resources like shurikens, and even basic training equipment would cost money. Treating injuries from physical training would strain their finances, potentially causing long-term damage to their bodies.

Setsu and the others didn't need to worry about this. But the other students, after rigorous training, could only rely on Akira or Tsunade for treatment. Even though Jiraiya and Orochimaru were skilled at basic first-aid, their injuries still left them with hidden wounds.

If they wanted to solve the problem, they either had to go to the hospital and pay for medical ninja treatment, or they had to wait for Akira and Tsunade to learn medical ninjutsu.

After listening to Akira's explanation, Tenzou realized the gravity of the issue. But he also knew that Akira wouldn't raise a problem without offering a solution. Since he had brought it up, there had to be a solution.

"So, Akira," Tenzou asked thoughtfully, "what do you suggest we do about this?"

After a brief pause, Akira spoke slowly, "Teacher, we need to reduce their training frequency."

"We can solve the problem by shifting the focus to more cultural and theoretical classes while decreasing practical training. You see, teacher, I understand that, as ninjas, practical combat skills are crucial, but we're only six years old, and our bodies are still growing. Engaging in battle at this age can cause serious harm, and some of it may be irreversible."

"I have an idea," Akira continued, "We can introduce more classes to teach medical knowledge. After two or three years of study, the students will know basic medical ninjutsu. This way, after a battle, they can treat themselves without needing to go to the hospital, saving money. Moreover, it could even spark an interest in medical ninjutsu among the students. I heard that Grandpa Tobirama mentioned the shortage of medical ninjas in the village, so perhaps some of the students could become medical ninjas after graduation."

When Tenzou heard Akira's thoughts, he was not only surprised but astonished.

He had some doubts about how Akira managed to come up with such ideas. But, upon further reflection, he realized that Akira was right. This solution was perfect—it addressed the needs of the students and the village. If it worked out, the village would have more medical ninjas in the future, which was invaluable.

Suddenly, Tenzou remembered something, and a hesitant look crossed his face. He turned to Akira and asked, "This is a great idea, but... as you know, there are very few medical ninjas in the village, and I don't know much about medical knowledge myself. Where are we going to find someone to teach this?"

Akira slapped his chest confidently and said, "Do you really need to look for someone else? Teacher, I can do it. My medical knowledge comes from Grandpa Hashirama. Let me give the lectures to everyone, and I'm sure they'll be satisfied with my teaching."

"You!" Tenzou stared at Akira, wide-eyed and a bit dumbfounded.

The next day, the students gathered in the classroom, and the scene was quite striking. Almost everyone except Akira and Tsunade had some bruises or marks on their faces. When the class bell rang, Tenzou walked to the podium, scanned the room, and made an announcement.

"Starting today, we will adjust the class schedule. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, we'll have cultural and theoretical lessons. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we'll focus on practical training."

As soon as he finished speaking, the room erupted in chatter.

Most students wore expressions of dissatisfaction as they discussed the news.

Tenzou raised his hand for silence and then explained Akira's reasoning. As they listened, the students began to calm down.

They understood that what the teacher said was reasonable. Unlike children from ninja families, they didn't have access to abundant resources for training. Most of them relied on their physical endurance to withstand injuries, and the hardships they faced were unseen by outsiders.

Now, with the teacher considering their well-being and even arranging for medical lectures, they had no reason to object.

Even Uchiha Retsu and the others stopped frowning. They weren't foolish; they understood how important medical knowledge could be. They had never had the chance to learn it before, but now that the teacher was providing this opportunity, there was no reason to turn it down.

Seeing the students accept the changes, Tenzou let out a sigh of relief and looked at Akira, who seemed ready to begin.

"Alright," Tenzou said, "let's welcome Akira to give his lecture."

"Okay!!"

With a serious expression, Akira walked up to the podium, holding the notes he had carefully prepared overnight. He turned to face the class, cleared his throat, and spoke with authority.

"Alright, let's begin the lesson!"
