I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Chapter 342: [VOLUME 2 END - Growth] A Heartfelt Romance

Ba-dump...

Was it love that her cold heart would swell and skip beats when her eyes settled on the girl she loved, or whenever her ears picked up the slightest pitch of the Rabbit's voice?

Was it love that made her cold heart tighten and crack a little whenever she saw the girl she loved enjoy spending time with someone else, or whenever her ears picked up the sound of their laughter with someone else?

In the past...

Ba-dump...!

Before meeting Lillian...

Ba-dump...!

She would have no idea.

Her past self wouldn't be able to empathise with the feeling. For all she had known was either bloodshed or the inhumane sides of humanity.

Such was the way of someone who belonged to a family with close ties to the Underworld.

And now, the thought of waking up and suddenly losing the ability to feel... Love... Now scared her—Frightened her even.

Ba-dump!

And because of this fear...

BA-DUMP!

She now cherished this feeling of love even more...

With her arms wrapped around Lillian, she pulled her in even further, smiling down on the girl as she leaned into her ear and whispered in a soft and quiet voice:

"Take responsibility for what you've done to me, Lillian... Take responsibility for making me feel this way towards you and..." She leaned even closer, brushing her lips against the girl's ear.

The feeling she felt when she thought she had lost Lillian was detrimental to her... And because of that, she couldn't help but notice a dormant feeling inside her awaken.

"And never leave me. Not even as a joke, or an act, or even as a playful suggestion..."

She then slowly moved her face down, inching closer to Lillian's neck before breathing against it.

She listened as Lillian's breath hitched before waiting for a few seconds.

She waited to see if the girl would wake up before carrying on with what she was about to do.

Planting a kiss on the side of the girl's neck, she whispered:

"From this moment on... Our lives will be bound—intertwined—together in the strings that are Fate... For you are now mine from now and all of eternity, Lillian..."

As she said this, her eyes glowed slightly as she left a gentle hickey on the girl's neck before falling into her slumber.

"Thalrek lost? Again?"

In the middle of a dark and almost ancient-looking hall with detailed engravings on the walls and carved pillars on the sides with long banners attached to them, was a large round table.

And on the table was what could only be described as a timeline of events that had come and yet to arrive. Not only that, but sat around this table were five mysterious individuals.

And each of them wore unique outfits that matched their personality. However, the only similar part of their attire was that they all wore a mask.

This was the Higher Ups of the Cult of Jesters.

The one who had spoken wore a pure white lab coat with sleeves longer than their arms. And they wore a mask that resembled that of a bear and had an intense amount of jagged edges.

After this individual was told the news of his friend, they couldn't help but let out a chuckle, which was closely followed by a laugh.

"Hahahaha! How hilarious! Some Immortal Puppeteer he was! How did he lose with that copy I created for him?"

This also sparked a few snickers to erupt from every member at the table.

All except one, however, as he tapped his knuckles in a rhythmic fashion.

He wore a mask that resembled that of an owl, except more distorted and covered in hardened molten metal that formed smooth edges.

He then spoke out in a calm but chilling deep voice:

"That's enough, Whisperfell. It's not nice to make fun of others."

"Kek. I'm sorry, Coerce, but it's his fault he lost. It was his fault anyway for picking a fight with a Saint and failing to take over his body. If he didn't he would still be here." Whisperfell shook his head in a mocking manner.

He then added:

"Granted. He did manage to take one less rotten egg off our plate, but still, from what you said, he lost to some unknown mage even though he was a Tier higher! Cocky rat."

The one identified as Coerce nodded, his eyes glowing a bit as he saw something that no one else could see.

"Yes, and he is currently undergoing the Trial we were sent into. Although, it seems as though, he is having some trouble getting over the Flaw that laced his body."

Another member then spoke up:

"I-I hope he makes it back... I would love for him to come back to the table..."

They wore a mask that resembled a salamander. Except, it seemed much more vile and violent.

This was Entice.

And they were a petite individual whose voice was laced with shyness and concern for the Puppeteer. But it then twisted as their voice took a sharp turn:

"So, I could toy around with him some more like I used to~..."

Coerce shook his head, sighing as he looked towards another member.

"What are your thoughts on this matter, Subtlety?"

This last remaining member was shrouded in darkness. And only his voice was known:

"... Have you identified who this mysterious person was, Leader?"

Coerce leaned back into his seat, smirking behind his mask:

"I have... A subtle idea..."

"And are you willing to reveal who?"

"I am not."

This response caused the other members to be surprised by this. And they then went on to ask why.

However, Coerce immediately silenced them with a raised hand as he muttered:

"Because there isn't any point in revealing this to you three... Our existence in this world is to be stepping stones for the one destined to reset this world back to how it was."

He then gave a low chuckle, wrapping his fingers together.

"Although Thalrek may have failed in his destiny, we still have ours to succeed. And there is no point in interfering with things that are outside the designated plans."

Whisperfell then asked:

"And when will our main plan finally begin?"

Coerce, hearing this, instantly leaned forward, resting against the table, and said:

"A little over a year's time... A great war between the believers and non-believers will begin..."

He then paused before adopting a cold and calculating tone as the room suddenly shuddered from a mysterious pressure that fell upon the room.

"And that war... Will be named the Second Celestial War..."

[End of Volume Two - Growth]

===

A/N

And that's the end of Volume Two! A whopping 254 chapters inside a single volume. That's... Wow... Quite the number of chapters...

I personally want to thank those that had supported this novel since day one and those who have come along the journey.

I couldn't have written this much for so long if not for everyone's support and love for these two lovebirds, Lillian and Marionette, who had grown a lot over the months they had been together.

But! They weren't the only ones that grew, alright! Their creator grew as well!

...

Maybe.

Hopefully...?

Yeah, I probably did.

Anyway, I hope all of you enjoyed this romance-filled volume and are still willing to continue. I shall be taking a day off and will come back with a chapter the next day.

See you later and hope you all have a great day! ;)
