Ava tightened her grip on the floor, her frustration boiling over.

Lucas, standing a little to the side, let out a steadying breath. His frost-covered fingers crackled with energy as he stepped forward.

Lucas: "You're looking at this the wrong way. It's not about overpowering it—we need to outlast it. Fire burns itself out when it meets the cold."

The team turned toward him, their surprise at his calm demeanor evident.
