I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100

"We did everything we could, but it seemed like it's still not enough," Elliot whispered as he watched his hands shake in fear. "What kind of power does he have?"

"All this time, he was keeping his true powers from us," Trick said. "I've always known that he's strong— stronger than Malice, but I neve thought that it was this powerful."

"Why are you all crying in fear?" Bruno laughed. "I just did what I always do, except more powerful. Tenfold to be exact."

"That's an incredible power growth," Elliot said. "But it's still too early to determine the outcome of this fight. We will not give up!"

Barbara laughed at Elliot's enthusiasm. "That is fine by me. I'll die either way, so at least I'll die while I'm fighting."

"I have your backs," Connor said and rode his staff. He gained a new control over his powers by raising his sword above his head and letting it glide into his back. His sword would provide him additional bonus increase in power while he reverts back into being a mage with long range and high damage output.

"Infernal Glory," Connor cast and allowed his sword to hover on his back. The flaming red sword followed Connor's movements and would fire addition flames once Connor cast a skill. "This is going to be my most powerful form yet. And I'm going to use it all!"

"I think it will help if we use Omniscience," Lance suggested. "Bruno is a whole new level for us. We can't just defeat him with how we are now."

"That's more than enough reason to be powerful and get stronger as we go," Elliot said, grinning. "Ed and Hope did not use Omniscience and they were able to do just fine. Let's at least try to do our best and get stronger without letting all of our powers out."

"Alright, alright," Lance said. "Then let's get this guy."

The five of them rushed to their own designate directions. Barbara acted as the tank for the group since she has the highest defense and resistance while Elliot and Lance provided the damage, and Trick and Connor provided the support.

Their group was well balanced because Barbara can actually hold off some of Bruno's powers while she is in her defensive mode. She could perform her duties well while allowing the others to focus on the damage.

Elliot and Lance could sustain great damage with their skills, that was why they were the main damage dealer. Their skills has high damage scaling and power output. While Trick and Connor has damage too, they better fit as support and guard so the two main damage dealers could focus on dealing damage instead of thinking of other things.

Their synchrony was also good considering Barbara and Trick were battle veterans and could call the shots in their battles. Elliot, Lance, and Connor could follow their lead so they could attain certain victory.

"This is really hard," Elliot said as they rushed towards Bruno. "He's strong and he can provide good defense."

"It's not as hard as the enemies we fought before," Lance said. "We just have to focus on getting stronger."

Barbara raised the large gauntlets to signal her defensive mode incoming. The two noticed this and immediately positioned themselves on a better angle to free hit Bruno while the three distracted him.

"Solid Ground!" Barbara slammed her gauntlets together and created a barrier around her. Bruno laughed and saw this as a challenge, so he fired several bullets of energy at Barbara.

"Burning Wheel of Flames!" Connor cast, conjuring a spinning wheel of flames that deflected some of Bruno's attacks. Because of this, the remaining bullets from Bruno's attacks were not able to penetrate Barbara's shield.

"Why you little..." Bruno raised his arm and summoned a spinning wheel of flames just like the one that Connor cast. But his wheel had more power and it spun faster. The color too was black and it seemed to be raging with anger and resentment.

"You won't get away with that!" Bruno yelled and fired his attack. Connor raised his hands to prepare to defend himself when Elliot and Lance got out of their positions and attacked.

"Hasty Aspire one hundred!" Elliot launched himself from the ground and vanished. Bruno glanced around to look for the boy, but he could not find him. "Lotus Blast!"

Bruno looked up to see Elliot dropping toward him. He smirked and dodged the eight petals that were fired by Elliot with ease. He didn't even break a sweat as he pivoted to the side and even held one with his bare hands.

"That was your attack?" Bruno laughed. "I could say that I'm a bit disappointed because I expected something more. Malice feared you so much, that I thought maybe you could actually beat me or at least provide me good entertainment."

"Black and White..." Lance appeared in front of him, making Bruno's eyes to widen in shock. "Grand Pierce."

Bruno created shield made of black energy to defend himself from the attack. He created an orb that encapsulated his entire body, allowing hismelf to escape from the sudden skill that was fired at him. "That was so close. Good job."

The moment Bruno let his guard down, Elliot appeared below him. "I'm not done yet! Enhanced Blast!"

The Lotus Blast has eight primarily slashes that Elliot could fire at his opponent. These slashes could deal huge damage when they hit the same target. But the real power of Lotus Blast was the ninth strike.

The pink flower blooming from Elliot's sword glowed with its radiant light. Bruno watched as the flower get closer to him, breaking his shield and entering his own space. "What—"

Elliot fired the flower and it exploded inside the barrier that Bruno created. There was smoke and dust inside the barrier, covering everything that happened inside.

Elliot stepped back to distance himself from Bruno. He might have successfully hit him, but he wasn't sure if Bruno could be damaged by that attack. The tried different methods before and none of them seemed to work for Bruno. He was just too powerful.

"Was that okay?" Elliot asked Lance. "I gave my all on that last hit. I hope I got him."

"Not to sound like I'm a negative thinker, but I don't think you've done quite well," Connor said. "The monent you entered his shield, Bruno casted another skill. I wasn't able to get a hold of what it was, but I'm sure it was something to allow him to defend himself from the attack.

"He's right," Barbara said. "You did a good job, but this is Bruno— Sariel. He's an archangel who had regained most of his powers. He's not going to go down that easily."

"I know," Elliot said and looked back wt the orb that Bruno created. When the smoke has cleared, Bruno revealed himself. He wasn't defeated yet, but the attack seemed to have a small effect on him. "He's hurt."

"That's good," Trick said. "Let's continue to do that kind of plan and then maybe we can finally defeat him."

"Are you done yet?" Elliot asked. "As much as I'd love to get this over with, I don't think my body would last another head-to-head fight with him."

"I'm almost done," Trick said. "And when I am, our victory will be certain."
