Chapter 563: I Made It Stop
"Oh, we did not!" Ed yelled. Hansel came up to him with a dark look on his face. "We were here the whole time. What did you think happened?"
Hansel stepped back. He was shaking his head and holding it, eyes bulging from their sockets in anger and despair. He was furious, and he wanted to release all of his emotions.
His body started to glow brighter and marks appeared all over it. Hansel screamed and lifted himself in the air with his wings that were flapping at an increasing rate. His breathing was unstable and his tears were flowing.
"What is he doing?" Hope asked. He tried to reach Hansel and attack, but he was deflected by a powerful yet swift force. He crashed to the ground, growling. "What was that?"
"Is he going to self destruct?" Ed gulped. "His body became so unstable. His energy levels are not good. It's like he's exploding."
"He's going to what?" Hope sat up immediately. "Then how powerful will the explosion be?"
"I don't know," Ed gripped his sword. "But I will try to negate his magic."
Ed wrapped his sword with his flames and stepped back with his right foot. He raised his sword over his head and sighed. "Eternal Chaos Unlimited Destruction!"
With a single slash from his sword, Ed fired a powerful attack. His flames roared as they formed a wolf before turning into a vortex of pure energy and power. Hansel, on the other hand, felt the powerful force coming after him.
He looked at the attack for one moment, and then returned to his despair. Ed's attack reached Hansel, but instead of negating the power that was boiling inside the Angel, the attack was split in half.
Ed could not believe what he just witnessed. The anti-magic was negated by another type of magic. "What was that?"
"Omniscience." Hope stared at Hansel. "He just used Omniscience."

A few decades ago, an Angel from Heaven was banished. He claimed to be more powerful than the King and was disowned by his family and his race. He was angry, and was able to create a powerful rift that opened the seal for a brief moment.
When he entered the rift, he was transported to Hell along with his two friends. The three of them hid the fact that they were Angels and trained to become soldiers of the queen. As the years go by, the trio became the most feared group among the soldiers, giving them the title of the first named Vassals.
They served the queen for as long as they could remember, but their original plan still remained. Their lives were only for themselves and when they had a chance, they would take the queen's rule of Hell and kill her to take her place.
The Angel's influence became so strong that he was beginning to become the most trusted man in the entire realm. Even the other nobles would trust him more than the queen who had seem to have lost her way.
The other two Angels served as Vassals and were viewed as the weakest Vassals even with their achievements. They played everyone in Hell, making them believe that they were only Vassals because of the Angel who has the highest rank in all of the realm.
Hansel and Gretel were inseparable even when Bruno gained all the power. In their minds, all their suffering will be rewarded once Hell becomes their property to rule. They did everything they can to promote Bruno and become a Candidate for the Absoluteship.
They promised themselves that when everything was over, they would live a normal life out of the chaos of the world, together. They wanted to live that life so desperately that they ignored every single evil actions that they did just so they could achieve that.
They started to lose their way in life, but they never lost each other. Until Hansel felt his sister's final breath. She was whispering his name, making his heart break into a thousand pieces.
"I can't live without my sister," Hansel said. "I don't know why, but we always have each other's backs even then. But now, who has my back?"
"We can have your back," Hope said. "We're not exactly the best family that you can have, but we're certainly fine in some degree."
Ed was curious and thought that Hope was only tricking Hansel, but Hope was truthful to his words. He maybe naive, but he could never lie and trick anyone for his own gain. That was his biggest positive trait.
"No!" Hansel yelled. "No one can love me bettet than my sister. We've been together for years and never did she once abandon me. I don't want to abandon her."
"You don't have to," Ed said. "You can still pursue a better life without her, as a celebration of her own life. She's your sister, but she's not you. You have your own life. What would she think if you destroy yourself just to take revenge?"
Hansel was silent. He was looking in front of him while his lips were slightly apart, wanting to say something but he can't. He was speechless and he could not utter a single word for a few seconds.
"Think about it, think about her," Ed added. "What would she feel?"
Hansel looked down, and then looked up with a wide menacing grin on his face. "She will be happy that I killed everyone!"
Hansel laughed and dived to the ground with his face forward. His wings were kept on his back as his head was bumped into the soil and the rocks. "I would never think of leaving her behind or making her wait. She's my sister and my sister will be glad if I follow her into the afterlife."
"Supreme Dragon Emperor Great Slash!"
Splat!
Ed's eyes widened. He looked beside him to confirm what he had just seen. The glowing of Hansel's body died down slolwy as the sword continued to pierce through his body, leaving no places untouched.
Hope grabbed his sword and shook his head. "You had no way out of your misery, so I acted on your behalf."
"Hope that was brutal," Ed said, gulping as he watched his enemy that was filled with holes. "I never expected that from you."
"He had no other choice in life. His defenses were down and he only focused on self destructing," Hope sighed. "He left me no other choice but to do that."
Ed understood Hope's decision and he respected that. It was true that there was no other way to save Hansel, but to relieve him of his misery. He was too far gone after losing his sister that no matter what they say to him, there will be no effect.
"I'm glad you did that," Ed said. "I was just too shocked to see him slam his head on the ground and feast on slamming his head to the rocks. I was shocked."
"I was too," Hope said. "That was why I made it stop."
Meanwhile, at the other edge of the forest, Elliot and his group were panting in exhaustion. Bruno stood and yawned as he stretched, seemingly bored of their fight.
"What is this?" Bruno asked. "This is too boring."
