Chapter 562: Angered Angel
Gretel screamed as her body sucked all the blood from her skill, the Blood Orb. The boiling liquid entered her body with excruciating pain, but she took the blood back in.
"What in the hell is she doing?" Strong could not believe what Gretel just did. "The blood got too hot. It would burn her insides."
"She's crazy," Glory said. "Angels are crazy."
"Oh, yeah," Gretel laughed, looking up and closed her eyes. She seemed to be in pleasure while the blood entered her body and stram escaped from her. Her body started to grow until she became four times larger than she was, her body completely deformed.
Her head did not enlarge along with her body. Her arms got too long and her legs started to split into two pairs. Her wings merged, creating on single but large pair of wings.
"I'm not going to let anyone defeat me. Never!" Gretel screamed and launched herself toward the two.
Strong only growled and clashed with her claws using his sword. Their attacks immediately took a fast pace and clashed several times per second.
Glory could not keep up with them because she was not a close combat fighter, so she enchanted Strong using her magic instead. "Strong, burn yourself!"
Strong looked at her and saw the mist of pollen that she was creating. He smirked and tapped his body with his sword, igniting his skin with his dark blue flames. "The hottest flames you'll ever see."
Glory spun her hands above her and fired her pollen at Strong. The monent they got contact with the flames, the pollens ignited and burned even brighter. Gretel growled as she watched Strong with the intense dark blue flames burning around his body.
"Now, we fight!" Strong yelled, this time taking the first shot and rushing toward Gretel.
The Angel screeched and followed suit. She raised her claws and even summoned blood swords to attack Strong, but the man was too fast. One moment he was in front of her, the next moment she was beside her.
"You're nothing but an evil being, Gretel," Strong said. He slashed his sword, cutting the left arm of Gretel cleanly. "You're worse than Malice or the Vassals combined. You just have your own goal and you don't care if you hurt anyone as long as you achieve that!"
"That is the reality of human life." Gretel distanced herself from Strong. Her voice suddenly became calm and relaxed. "I did not order my life to become a hellhole that I become like this. I wanted to live a normal life with my brother in Heaven, but they wanted out power. They wanted us to fight."
"Then do not just throw away your life fighting us!" Glory yelled. "If you want to take revenge on Heaven, then we'll help you. If the other Angels were tough on you, then we won't be. You were one of my closest friends. I can't stand fighting with you because it hurts me."
"She's right," Strong added. "This fight is useless. It's not something that we should do. If Heaven forced you to fight and you wanted to live a normal life, then we'll make them pay for what they did."
"You don't get me," Gretel giggled. "I loved fighting. Wars, blood, pain, wounds, death. I love all of them. I hated Heaven because it wasn't strong enough to kill all the other realms. It's too weak.
That is why Sariel is replacing the Almighty. He will kill the King of Heaven and the Almighty and instate himself as ruler of Heaven."
"What?" Glory gasped. "Why do you want to do that? You'll cause wreckage in the balance of life."
"That's just one," Gretel said. "Sariel will kill all the other Absolutes and we will rule all realms together. We will be an unstoppable force and no one can stop us."
Strong sighed and shook his head. He raised his sword and cut Gretel's other hand off. The woman screamed in pain, just realizing what happened. He looked up to see Glory with a large flower cannon. "I don't like killing, but I will not hesitate to kill when it is the right moment."
"No!" Gretel yelled. She growled and was about to fly away when pollens reached her and exploded. The pollens formed vines that wrapped around the Angel's body, binding her into her location.
"You would have become a very powerful Vassal," Strong said. "It's such a shame that you were never a Vassal to begin with."
He brandished his sword and transfered the power of the flames in his body into it. He sighed and shook his head once more. "Goodbye, Gretel. Burning Slash!"
"Flower Cannon!"
Gretel was screaming and was wriggling to try and get away. She was squirming in pain as she saw the attacks from two different directions coming at her. She refused to die at that moment. She screamed and begged for help, but it never came.
The two attacks met right where Gretel was bound to. The flames and the beam of energy swallowed the woman's entirety, leaving no traces behind after the attacks.
"Shall we help them?" Glory asked Strong, but her eyes widened when she saw the man fall to the ground. "What happened?"
Blood started to flow from Strong's wounds. Glory blocked all the exit with her flowers, but the loss of blood was too much. "No, don't die."
Gretel's laugh echoed around them. Glory was looking around to try and find the source, but she couldn't. "This is not going to happen. Strong won't die!"
She used up all of her magic to stabilize Strong's condition. When her mana was depleted, her body collapsed right beside Strong. The two Vassals fell unconscious right beside each other.

"Hope, I want to do it." Ed growled and stood. He was just blown away by Hansel's fist and he now wanted to use Omniscience. "Let's get this over with."
"No," Hope said with a serious tone. "We should get even stronger. Our Omniscience will be stronger if we overcome this."
"Using my words against me, now that's just mean," Ed growled. He pat his body to remove the dirt that he got from the crash. "I don't like fighting like this anymore. We should fight like this— as if we have to die first before we get serious."
"I asked to use Omniscience several times, but you said no," Hope said. "We don't need to use that until later. I realized that."
"You're just trying to teach me a lesson," Ed scoffed and rolled his eyes. "You do know that you're not a very good teacher, right? I don't think you can teach anything to anyone."
"I taught Viper how to fish," Hope said proudly. "Now let's finish this so I can teach them more tricks."
Ed grinned. "Time to use it?"
Hope shrugged. "Let's do it."
The two charged their powers when they suddenly heard Hansel scream. The Angel held his head and curled into a fetal position while still hovering in air. He was speaking something but it wasn't audible from afar.
"What is going on?" Hope asked. "What happened to him?"
"I wish I could say anything to that question, Hope," Ed said. "But I have no idea."
Their questions were answered when Hansel launched rays of energy at random directions and screamed.
"You killed my sister!"
