I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100

Chapter 516: Chevon

Chevon was standing still in front of them. This added to the intimidation that he was exuding.

As a Vassal, he was powerful. There was no doubt about it. His aura alone was saying a lot about him.

"Watch out," Ethan raised his hand to signal them. "He's doing something. But I don't know what."

"If you think that I'm going to kill you right this moment, you are wrong," Chevon said. "My role right now is to prevent you from finding Trick."

"Trick?" Ethan asked. "You also mentioned him earlier. Is he another Vassal?"

"One of the strongest," Chevon said. "Also, what right timing that you curious humans encountered me. See, to make me more powerful, I added a condition to my abilities.

"My powers were enhanced by over three hundred percent but in exchange, I am forbidden to lie," Chevon continued. "So you can ask me anything and I will answer them. But the moment Trick wakes up, I will slaughter you."

From all of the Vassals, there was a reform and only Bruno and Trick were the ones who were left. The rest were kicked out for some reason.

Trick was the second strongest of the third group of Vassals. His abilities were top notch, especially his space distortion. He can transport people over long distances but it will take toll on his body.

The main power that Trick had was close combat. It was almost impossible to win a match against him unless you have a trick up your sleeve.

He can manipulate and distort space and his maximum area for his optimum skill was one hundred meters in diameter. Which means everything in that area is one hundred percent in his control.

The only reason why Trick wasn't the strongest Vassal was because he was overpowered by the two above him in every possible way. These two are Bruno and Malice's daughter herself, the princess of Hell.

"The Princess became a Vassal?" Ethan gasped, interrupting Chevon in the process. "But she's not as powerful as Bruno."

"The princess is the only one of us who didn't get a Paragon implanted inside of her," Chevon said. "This means that her current power is her actual power."

"We have more threats than we thought," George sighed. "Then, what will you get from transporting Prince Willis into our domain?"

Chevon took a short pause before sighing and answering, "Prince Willis of Barragon, Ballas of Granada, and Desirei of Belowell. All three of you are the figureheads of the Project Tripropeta. We brought you here to destroy you along with the Prophesized Boy."

"Ah," Willis opened his mouth and nodded. "The three men of the Prophesized Boy. We were going to find them, but it seems like you are already on to us."

"You shouldn't underestimate our connections," Chevon said. "The Demons are everywhere, so you should always raise your guard or it will ultimately cost you your victory."

"You're here after Lance and the three men that is somehow connected to him?" Ethan raised his sword. "Like we'd let you."

Chevon shook his head and sighed. "I don't think you understand. We are here to do our job. And nothing will stop us."

"But there are three of us and there's only one of you," George said. "What do we do about this setup?"

"Don't underestimate your enemy," Chevon said. "Trick just woke up. Now it's time for me to have fun."

He suddenly vanished from where he stood and reappeared between one of the dogs. He raised his hand and cut the dog in half, but the dog suddenly transformed into bubbles which was sucked into Willis' palm that he pointed.

"Emergency Death System," Willis said. "You're the one who shouldn't underestimate your enemies."

Willis thrust his palm forward, launching all three dogs toward Chevon. The latter was shocked at first but he regained his shock and turned to create a vortex of black flames.

The flames swallowed the dogs to which turned into bubbles and were sucked into Willis's palms once more.

"A summoner," Ethan smirked. "Seems a little obsolete class. Are you okay with that?"

Willis was silent. He drew something on his other palm using the blood from his thumb that he bit.

"Just because we don't do flashy stunts, it doesn't mean that we're any less from you," Willis said as he continued drawing. "Summoners would often get a bad reputation because it has been labeled as the class for the cowardly, but I don't think that's the case."

The prince stood and raised his palms to show into the skies. "The summoners use their powers to quench the loneliness that they feel inside. We summon friends to talk to, or even monsters to play with. Summoners are greatly misunderstood. And I am here to lecture you about that."

With a lightning strike that flashed into Willis, the symbols glowed with a bright yellow light.

"There are only four summoners in the world who can do this and I am pleasured to be one," Willis said. "I borrow the power of the mighty Heavens to send upon me a knight that will extinguish my enemies."

Chevon was beyond shock after Willis completed his incantation. He took a couple of steps back while watching the skies light up with a bright pale yellow color.

"This is going to be your end. Do you have any last words?" Willis asked.

"But there's no one there," Chevon chuckled. "You  must be delusional to think that those self-centered pathetic creatures would lend their aid–"

Everything became silent. The fog cleared, the winds blew a cold gentle breeze. In the sky was an orb of yellow light that shone brightly.

"Has the sun descended?" George asked. "That's the beauty of the sun?"

"Everyone," Chevon yelled from his comrades who were away this time. "An Angel will come down. Let us escape."

"Distorted Reality."

A voice spoke and instantaneously reformed everything around them. A tall plump man walked behind Chevon with a smirk on his face. "The Angel can't possibly hurt us once we're inside."

Chevon nodded and smiled, "It's good that you are awake, Trick."
